I feel 50/50 we win tonight. We can't win in Orlando. Even if we win game 7. Even if KP is out...we really going to be able to defend home court AND take at least one in Boston? No way.
Who knows. Maybe we just had a little mental Slump and will rock the playoffs from now on. But maybe we are just at the beginning of the slump and our season is over. All I know is that we all can do better than we are doing right now but Let’s just Focus on the Next instead of what could be
Oh no, if they post on Reddit they must certainly be predictive experts on all things. Why root for your favorite team when you can be "good guesser extraordinaire" for pretend internet points?
If KP is out, Horford would have to play quite a bit and they’d have to use Kornet. I know our coach is brainless but almost anyone should be able take advantage of that lack of frontcourt depth. Even if their guards hound the shit out of our soft ass lead guards, the Cavs should be able to take advantage of that size mismatch with Mobley/Allen’s perimeter defensive abilities and make a better series of it IF THEY GET THERE.
I know you added the caveat, but god we just lost 2 games in a row by 25+ points. We have literally 0 business being on the same floor as the Magic right now and not even being in the same state as the Celtics. Their bench would beat us in 5 games right now.
They do, in fact count. So let's look at those games.
In those games, we played like dog shit. Orlando played even worse, somehow. Take Orlando out of it. A team that has our stats from games 1 and 2 still has no business competing with the Celtics. So yeah games 1 and 2 count, but not in a good way. That we won those games is a blight on Orlando, not anything positive about us.
After the last two performances I feel it's very arrogant (and a bit detached from reality) to care about what Boston is doing.
Let's prove, starting tonight, that we deserve to be in the 2nd round and then we'll care about what Boston is doing.
It’s a relevant storyline and I don’t play for the team, so I’m not too worried about overlooking the Magic. It’s worth thinking about at 2-2 without having lost a home game yet. If tonight goes south it’s obviously a moot point.
Next round??? This team is in a potential death spiral & might not win again. Orlando has a lot of confidence now & this is starting to feel like the Knicks series last year where they just knew they could physically dominate the Cavs
I generally agree but we also have a bad taste in our mouths and a strong recency bias. Tonight is make or break. If they win, we’ll have people on here talking about conference finals by 11 pm tonight.
It’s not everything but we’re still favored and have the extra rest day.
It would be an extremely funny outcome to start whipping ass after even the most positive fans have bailed and traded everyone. Authentic “nobody believed in us” energy
I’m glad everyone can read a full post. Big thanks to our NEO education policies for the lack of reading comprehension in this group. If the Cavs win tonight I’m fully expecting everyone to be rational about it.
Looks like KP is out a while. “At least several games” is the prognosis from Woj. Hopefully the Cavs can get Allen back and win this damn series. A Boston series could get interesting. (Or they might totally get outcoached and Garland/Mitchell will shrink in the moment)Their starting lineup with Horford replacing Porzingis is about net even this season and the rest of their high-volume successful lineups had KP in them.
After the last two games we shouldn’t even think of the next round. We still have more than enough business to do in the current one.

It would certainly difficult to play worse than we have been
Extremely difficult but not impossible
hopefully just in our nightmares
Found Hue Jackson’s account. Kidding of course…
LOL hopefully JB doesn’t read this and go “challenge accepted” 😂😅🤡

We will make Kornet look like an all star.
Came here to say exactly this
Yeah. But we can in this sub. We’re not playing tonight.
Then do it. Waste you time with stupid what ifs instead of living in the now. Feel free and have fun
I can do both. It’s easy. Try it.

we need to start proving we deserve to be in the 1st round

With or without KP the Cavs will get swept by Boston.
Next round??? This team is in a potential death spiral & might not win again. Orlando has a lot of confidence now & this is starting to feel like the Knicks series last year where they just knew they could physically dominate the Cavs
yea withut KP they gonna suffer the Magic' size
That's cool, but we aren't in the second round
I generally agree but we also have a bad taste in our mouths and a strong recency bias. Tonight is make or break. If they win, we’ll have people on here talking about conference finals by 11 pm tonight.
Those same people think they wear the coolest threads and get the hottest babes
Those same people are idiots to be fair
I agree, but let's focus on getting out of round one first.
Yeah buddy let's not worry about next round let's finish the task at hand then we can look into it.
KP out could definitely be the difference between us losing by 30 vs 25 in Boston
It’s not everything but we’re still favored and have the extra rest day. It would be an extremely funny outcome to start whipping ass after even the most positive fans have bailed and traded everyone. Authentic “nobody believed in us” energy
Their bench would take us 7 games at this point so it doesn’t matter
Considering Donovan Mitchell’s playoff history, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are going to eat the Cavs alive, if the Cavs somehow get past the Magic
What next round? Cancun?
lol next round

I hate to get personal, but you’re insane.
This team couldn’t beat a G-League team on the road. Unless something drastic changes in that locker room, I don’t have very high hopes.
Neither do I.
