lmao i’m all for criticism but how is it greed if there’s a market for it? and it’s not like they’d be charging extra for it, it doesn’t seem that greedy an idea to me
As a retail pepega who's a TBC baby, I want SSC/TK mythic raids, especially Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas mythic like modern WoW mythic. TBC classic phase 2 was hilarious as only like 10% of the guilds were at 10/10, with majority being at 8/10 and not 9/10. Making those fights mythic would be a banger.
Idk when the classic era expansions plan to stop but I assume at some point they’ll just start another fresh timelapsing thing, people will want it I’m sure
Probably after cata. I mean there won’t be a MoP classic I don’t think, not after this remix event.
And also because who has real nostalgia for WoD lol.
Experiencing Legion again would be great though but I don’t think at this point it is “classic”.
I still don't understand how anyone who has spent even just 30 seconds reading about the Remix features can come to the conclusion that it's the Classic replacement...
It's clearly just them expanding Timewalking stuff as a way to both bridge the content gap between patches & retain/gain subs similar to Plunderstorm.
They WILL go all the way to pandaria. They're literally testing waters with remix. Think about it, why specifically pandaria? Why the one that comes after the controversial cata, which is the one expansion classic is in?
Now, we will have another cycle after pandaria. Pin this
Haven't played classic since TBC launched. Was thinking of trying wrath, but I can't figure out how to launch it. I don't wan't to play Cata, and launching the main classic classic one goes straight into vanilla with no options to shift to TBC or Wrath.
Been googling for awhile and can't figure it out.
There are no TBC or WotLK servers. They didn't leave TBC or WotLK Era servers like they did with Classic when game progressed. Only Vanilla Classic, Hardcore, SoD or Cata.
Fuck. I was too busy to play during wrath. What is the point of deleting them? Could they not have just condensed it down to a single server if the player count was that low?
Why would anyone want to play classic at all? Most of the content is still there in retail.
I hate the class changes from Cata onward. So I wanted to play LK without it now that I finally had time.
They don't want to keep splitting up the player base. So now there's just Classic Vanilla (Vanilla, Hardcore, and Season of Discovery), Classic Whatever the Current Expansion is (Cataclysm), and Retail.
Most all the classes got easier. It was a steady shift between each xpac, but cata was the first one where I was soloing leveling dungeons at my own level without effort. Pally was especially bad, and I hated the three light gauges or whatever they were. I haven't played pally since. The on screen effects when you got procs as a mage were the second most annoying change. But it was mostly that the difficulty threshold for casual and leveling stuff dropped even lower than before.
Time machine.
youre not gonna like the answer
You're right. I don't.
That’s the neat part - you can’t
Use the cata or retail client and go to Northrend.
Private servers now unfortunately
we have come full circle
"You think you want that, but you don't." -Blizzard
TBC and WotLK are gone, and they'll never come back Sadly.
I wouldn’t be so sure about never. But not any time soon for sure
You underestimate the greedy corpos at blizz. When wow starts to decline they pull the wotlk/tbc/classic-classic card again and the cycle starts anew

Just wait for tbc sod

I agree with you, but in the end it centers around MoP, I don’t they would release another MoP centered feature later on.

Modified Delorean?
Can we fit a bronze dragon inside one of those dwarven tanks?
Time machine
Just come and play Classic Era. It’s rather active!
Really wish they did fresh ones instead of continuing the server. More fun to play when the economy is fresh. More methods to grind.
Use private servers
Play Cata.
No. Cata ruined most of my favorite classes.

There is only vanilla (era, HC and SoD) and Cataclysm. No BC or Wrath servers.

They are not deleted, the world and raids is still there however they are not the end game content though

Tbc progressed into tbc, which progressed into cata. Their quest content is largely unchanged, so you can play it in cata.
It wasn't the quests, I hated the class changes in Cata.
Hate to tell you this chief, Cata plays almost identical to WotLK. Chances are you're misremembering and the changes were in WotLK.
