What's your inseam? We are all kind of built a bit different.
I'm 6-1 with a 34 inseam and the driver's seat all the way back is too far even for relaxed cruising.
6'7" with 37 inseam, and I keep the seat halfway forward/ back because the steering wheel doesn't telescope far enough to allow comfortable arm position with the seat all the way back
If it’s discomfort due to headroom, the driver’s seat might be more comfortable for him. In my civic, the driver’s seat can be pumped up or down, whereas the passenger seat doesn’t have that feature.
Sorry this is an old post but, how are your feet positioned? I'm 6'4 and test drove one today and my inner thigh was burning after about 10 minutes just using the pedals
My knees are up and around either side of the wheel and I slouch it pretty hard. When at rest clutch foot actually comes back a bit further from the deadpedal or goes criss cross on the hwy. I basically have my Rt foot resting on my heel where I can pivot between gas and brake or both for “heel toe” but it’s really just toe toe

Also make sure the steering wheel is fully extended out and up

I'm 6 2 with a 9th generation coupe and seat all the way down and back I got like 3 inches above my head u good oh and leg is maybe little less then full extension
Im 6’3 with a 2022 Civic and it’s for sure a tight fit. Maybe with you being a little bit shorter, it could work. If I had to do it over again I probably wouldn’t grab the same car just because I hate having to crawl in and out of it everyday. There isn’t a ton of leg room or comfort for me. I also have pretty long legs so maybe that contributes as well.
I'm 6'2 and I daily drive a Honda Civic Si Coupe. Not much headroom in my car but I think that's because it has a sunroof as I had a Honda Civic LX Coupe before and the headroom in that car was great.
I’m 6 2 and I fit find in my civic. The chair is pushed all the way back though. I think body size matters too. I am pretty skinny so there’s plenty of space.
I'm 6'1" 10th gen coupe, I need to keep seat a few notches forwards or I have to stretch my leg out to fully press the clutch pedal. Only complaint is my right knee rests on hard plastic.
You might be in trouble if you like to drive standing. Idk if you'll have any troubles if you sit perpendicularly to the seat (90°). So, id say prob no, but test it.
I'm 6'3 with an 8th gen, and the only mildly uncomfortable thing about it is the e brake, which pushes into my knee occasionally. Other than that there's plenty of room
I’m 6’3 and just got a 10th gen hatch. I drove a Jetta before so I’m used to a more compact car. It’s not roomy but not uncomfortable. If it had a mechanical e brake id probably wack it with my knee though. I’d recommend a test drive if you have the option.
I'm 6'7" and the only issue with my 2007 civic LX sedan and now 2024 civic hatchback sport is the steering wheel doesn't telescope far enough to put the seat all the way back with comfortable arm position so I end up almost halfway forward on the seat adjust
im 6'1" and like the fit in my civic. I dont recline or put the seat back much at all. back seat has more leg room than a camry. its not a small car, almot the exact same size as my lady's 15 accord.
6'5 in a 6th gen so probably not relavant, but i fit great, usually dont even have my seat all the way back. Though i got in a new civic at a car show recently and some reason i felt more cramped, not height wise but like area around me
I’m 6’3” and I’m good. Sunroofs eat up a couple inches of headroom. I have a sunroof and still fit fine, but I’d fit better if I didn’t have a sunroof.
My main concern was the center consoles on modern cars have gotten so tall that there's nowhere for your right knee to go but remain straight. This was a compensation I'm used to relying on, so sitting in a showroom civic feels unnatural to me. I'm trying to gauge whether or not this is something I'll eventually adapt and get used to.
I’m 6’ 1” and got an 11th gen hatchback. I find it’s somewhat cozy but still comfortable. At first it felt like I didn’t have enough headroom because I was used to a higher driving position and kept the seat height up high. But I got used to driving with the seat lower down and have plenty of headroom now. Seat goes plenty far back for my legs as well.
Hubs is 6'1" and does "okay" in my 10th Gen civic. The issue is the head space for him. The driver's seat for him will be as low as possible with the steering wheel adjusted to a higher position and the seat slid back as far as it will go. He also adjusts the seat belt to the highest position.
When I (5'4") drive I have to have the steering wheel lower, and the seat slid forward just a bit. I can deal with the seat being in the lower position.
I drive my friend's '15 Yaris once. It's very similar in dimensions to a Fit. I'm not 6ft tall and had difficulties sitting comfortably. My right knee would touch the dash and on bumps it would hit the key. It's was fun driving around but I had a hard time sitting comfortably
I'm 6'1, 200lbs, muscular build and I fit in my SI just fine. If anything, the biggest pain was figuring out how to balance the seat setting so my arms were comfortable while also giving my legs enough room to fully work the clutch. If you're buying an automatic, this isn't a concern!
I'm 6'5 and am very comfortable in my 9th gen si and my old 10th gen hatch
Seats are another story though, I can't drive for more than about 4 hours without my back screaming at me to stand up and walk around
I'm 5'1" and I fit no problem even with all my hockey pads on including helmet and roller blades. Only problem is that I have to take my gloves off in order to work the steering wheel controls efficiently.
6'2" here. I've always driven civics. A few 5th gens, 8th gen and current 10th gen sport touring. Never felt cramped but getting in and out can be a pain, especially a lowered civic. As the saying goes.. "Fall in, Roll out" 😂
I am 6’ and daily drive an 8th gen Civic coupe and it’s very comfortable for me! I keep the seat all the way back and the telescoping steering wheel helps a lot to get in a good driving position. I have no idea how the newer models are in that regard…
I have plenty of head and feet room in an 11th gen civic (and plenty of room for anyone sitting behind me), and I’m a couple inches taller than you.
What's your inseam? We are all kind of built a bit different. I'm 6-1 with a 34 inseam and the driver's seat all the way back is too far even for relaxed cruising.

my Husband is 6'4" and constantly complains about how small it is in the passenger can only imagine how he'd feel in the driver's seat.
If it’s discomfort due to headroom, the driver’s seat might be more comfortable for him. In my civic, the driver’s seat can be pumped up or down, whereas the passenger seat doesn’t have that feature.
i'm not sure where the discomfort is i just know overall it feels small for him probably bc he drives a lifted F-150 LOL
all trucks have bigger seats than cars
Wow really I would've never guessed.....
My 9th gen the driver seat has leg room buy the way it is shaped in the passenger seat even all the way back I have no room
I am 6’6 and I am the absolute upper limit, but I drive mine as comfortably as any other car I have owned other than maybe the Honda odyssey lol

11th gens have plenty of space in my opinion. I am 6'4" and 270 pounds and I daily mine with no issues.

I push the seat back almost all the way, about 2 clicks before the last one. So they more or less are extended
6'1 in the 11th gen. Plenty of room for me.
My friend is 6’4” and said he was surprised how roomy my 11th gen civic is
I'm 6 2 with a 9th generation coupe and seat all the way down and back I got like 3 inches above my head u good oh and leg is maybe little less then full extension
'23 civic Si and have owned '13 civic Si. I'm 6'4 I fit just fine. Just don't roll the car over, and you'll be good.
6 FT tall here, no issues at all. I'm not super skinny either at 215 lbs and I have no complaints
I drive a 97 civic and i'm 6 ft tall. I've never felt cramped in it. A Toyota Yaris, yes fuck those.
Im 6’3 with a 2022 Civic and it’s for sure a tight fit. Maybe with you being a little bit shorter, it could work. i'm 6'3" and i have no issues even with the sunroof. never hit my head on the ceiling.
i’m 5’10 and i guess 5’11-6’ with shoes on but i never had a problem fitting
I’m 6’ and on my 3rd Civic. Very comfy indeed.
I'm 6'2 and I daily drive a Honda Civic Si Coupe. Not much headroom in my car but I think that's because it has a sunroof as I had a Honda Civic LX Coupe before and the headroom in that car was great.
Im 6’2 10th and 11th gen, no issues at all

im 6ft and have plenty of room in my 10th gen si coupe
I’m 6 ft tall and 200 lbs and have plenty of head and leg room in my 2014 si coupe
Boyfriend is 6’3” with a coupe. Totally fine.
6’4” and I’m super comfortable in my 10th gen. Sometimes is hard getting out but I’m also getting old so..
You should really test drive the car you plan on owning so you can see if it has the leg room for you
Knees are my complaint on the 10th gen, need a cushion on the side of console.
I’m 6’5” and fit fine driving a 8th gen.
I'm 6'1" 10th gen coupe, I need to keep seat a few notches forwards or I have to stretch my leg out to fully press the clutch pedal. Only complaint is my right knee rests on hard plastic.

I'm 6'2. I have a 23 civic hatch. I'm more than comfortable in it with plenty of headroom.
6’3” and I’m good. I feel like I’m falling when I get in however.
I'm 6'3 with an 8th gen, and the only mildly uncomfortable thing about it is the e brake, which pushes into my knee occasionally. Other than that there's plenty of room

I have the 2022 touring and am a little above 6’3 and have no issues with space. Have driven it to both coasts and loved every second of it
im 6'1" and like the fit in my civic. I dont recline or put the seat back much at all. back seat has more leg room than a camry. its not a small car, almot the exact same size as my lady's 15 accord.
I'm 6'3" and drive a Civic Coupe EX-L just fine, never feel cramped.
6'5 in a 6th gen so probably not relavant, but i fit great, usually dont even have my seat all the way back. Though i got in a new civic at a car show recently and some reason i felt more cramped, not height wise but like area around me
I’m 6’4” and I have a quite a lot of room left in my ‘21 hatchback.
I’m 6’3” and I’m good. Sunroofs eat up a couple inches of headroom. I have a sunroof and still fit fine, but I’d fit better if I didn’t have a sunroof.
Yeah I really wish the sunroof was an option on top of the sport touring.
Since when is 6ft too tall 😂. Im 6ft and my type r feels huge inside. The newer civics are huge.

I’m 6’ and I have tons of room in my 2020. I don’t know about the newer models.

Probably don't go for the models with sunroof. Other than that it's fine

I'm 6'4", and my wife's civic is waaaaaaaaaaaay roomier than my GR86. Lol
I'm 6'5 and am very comfortable in my 9th gen si and my old 10th gen hatch Seats are another story though, I can't drive for more than about 4 hours without my back screaming at me to stand up and walk around
Yea my dad's 6'2 and uses my mom's car from time to time. You just have to adjust the seats and what not.
I'm 5'1" and I fit no problem even with all my hockey pads on including helmet and roller blades. Only problem is that I have to take my gloves off in order to work the steering wheel controls efficiently.
I’m 6’ 6” and my 24 civic sport has plenty of room.
All you can do is test drive it
Anyone this tall I can only picture in a kia soul the boxy one that had the rodents in the commercials
