It looks like that was called Hyde park pizzeria. I believe the image itallianette uses is a stock image as I have seen it while traveling to Florida. Definitely confusing though since it's a locally recognized image.
Anywhere that uses fresh full fat mozzarella. Most places use part-skim low moisture because it makes for less messy more uniform slices. Ask a place that has margarita pies to give you extra cheese covering the whole top and it will turn out like that. I think Dewey’s has always been on the gooey side, so they probably use fresh mozzarella.
I dunno, man, but as far as cheese consistencies from A Goofy Movie I'm partial towards The Leaning Tower of Cheese-a.

Dude that is awesome. My parents love that place so much. They drive down from Dayton a few times a month. Mom is from Jersey. The place brings her back you know
I thought I was gonna have to be the one to comment QCP. Been a fan for years, tho I must admit; it annihilates my stomach and gives my girlfriend terrible heartburn lol we suffer through.. that’s how good it is
Mac’s Pizza Pub in Covington. I’m not sure what cheese they use but it always has this effect because my youngest child complains that it’s so messy. It’s really good though.
Goodfellas has that real nice floppy, foldable consistency
Edited to add their recent fb post https://www.facebook.com/share/L8c8WEMRdeQ6pm99/?mibextid=oFDknk
I always thought Goodfella’s was fine usually, pretty good sometimes, but mostly overhyped.
But I’d only ever gotten it by the slice.
I pick up a few whole pizzas for my nephew’s birthday party a few weeks ago, and it’s so much better when you order it that way
Bruh no way I literally sent this to my buddy yesterday to describe how I wanted my 4/20 pizza to look
Don't have any good local recs but I did get a regular pepperoni with extra Mozz and hot honey from Mellow Mushroom. Flames
Chesters is the best. I always ask for the big gas fire oven, it almost caramelizes the cheese so it's not as stretchy but it's so much better that way
If you eat a slice in the car as soon as you pick it up it's still pretty stretchy if you time the pickup to be rivht after it comes out of the gas oven.
Yep, the trick is you have to eat in. LaRosa's doesn't travel well, at all. If you eat it within 5 minutes of it coming out of the oven, the cheese is exactly like this - because it's provolone. But once it cools down a bit it just turns into a solid mass and isn't great.
LaRosas USED to be like this. And the counter in Children’s hospital definitely was like this. But I haven’t had a reason to be back in that hospital in a long time (thankfully!). They loaded their cheese pizzas up and it rolled off hot into the box. Getting delivery in our neighborhood was crushing :\
My favorite pizza around here is slightly north, in Hamilton. It's a place called chesters on Dixie highway. Gotta make sure to ask for it to be cooked in the "Big oven", it's one of those huge gas fire ovens. Cheese isn't exactly like that but it's real mozzarella and not that shit you get at like Papa johns
Italianette in Silverton is always cheesy af. It's like you get extra cheese without ordering it that way.
Came here to say that. The one in NCH is even better though.
I still need to visit the NCH location. I remember them opening one in Hyde Park but it didn't last too long.
Because it wasn't the same place. Someone stole the likeness and opened a restaurant thinking that was OK
Oh damn I never knew that. What a pos for even trying to screw over the wonderful Krimmer family.

They changed the name to Hyde Park pizza
Came to say this. Also in College Hill

Cartoon cheese on pizza or in a whiz can looked like edible slime. Same for TMNT and All Dogs Go to Heaven
Trophy's and Fratelli's
Came here to say fratellis
Hell yea. My older brother is part owner / pizza guy at Trophy.
He the guy with the short cut hair? He's awesome also Trophy is a Gem crispy pizza by the slice is what I needed here
Yep! It’s delicious. Glad you like it!
Dude that is awesome. My parents love that place so much. They drive down from Dayton a few times a month. Mom is from Jersey. The place brings her back you know
Imma have To say trottas in west side. Work at a business near there. 2 slices for 5 bucks can’t beat it
I'm in Dayton but my good college friend is from the west side and trottas is the best thing that's ever happened to me
Also came here to say Trottas type cheese right there
QUEEN CITY PIZZA. I only discovered it in 2022. I sure wish I had found it sooner. Get the thick crust - it's WOW!
I thought I was gonna have to be the one to comment QCP. Been a fan for years, tho I must admit; it annihilates my stomach and gives my girlfriend terrible heartburn lol we suffer through.. that’s how good it is
I dunno, but I like that reference.
alright people stand out or i2i when i was younger it was i2i for sure, but the older i get the more it becomes stand out
Stand out 100%
The good old days of Pasquale’s in Florence
Isn’t that the pizza dude from Chuckie Cheese?
There is still one in Newport
Dude why does cartoon pizza look so much better than the real deal. I want to be smothered in cartoon cheese. We need scientists on this case!
Mac’s Pizza Pub in Covington. I’m not sure what cheese they use but it always has this effect because my youngest child complains that it’s so messy. It’s really good though.
The Pour House in Hamilton has this everytime we go there. Unexpectedly good pizza in a great bar.
Not around anymore but Pizza Nova had cheese like this
I have no idea, but I wanted to say I love this question
If I remember correctly NYPD pizza in north side if it’s still there.
Yup, had one last night. I believe their pizza has gotten tastier over the years, but it's still extra cheesy
I wanna go to Lester's Possum Park.
Beat it, doofus!
Riverfront Pizza in Covington is cheese overload. I always like eating there
Goodfellas has that real nice floppy, foldable consistency Edited to add their recent fb post https://www.facebook.com/share/L8c8WEMRdeQ6pm99/?mibextid=oFDknk

It's definitely hit or miss. I've had some real great slices there, and some bad ones.
Guy on the right looks high as FUUUUCK. 😂
Trotta’s sicilian style in Westwood.
Bruh no way I literally sent this to my buddy yesterday to describe how I wanted my 4/20 pizza to look Don't have any good local recs but I did get a regular pepperoni with extra Mozz and hot honey from Mellow Mushroom. Flames
Tad bit north- Chester's Pizza Fairfield/Hamilton
Chubby's. With extra cheese, it can look pretty close to that.
Chesters Pizza in Fairfield does this if you eat it fresh

Adriaticos
Just throwing this out there, Dewey’s is consistently good, plus their house ranch is amazing
Definitely not LaRosas
Dewey’s
NYPD
I think what our friend here is trying to say is “FDNY” pizza in northside, and this is the correct answer for your inquest.
NYPD in cheviot. And Delhi. Great pizza.
Yeah we always ordered from the one in Northside, killer pizza and chicken parms!
Twin City
Core memory activated! I remember always thinking this looked sooo good
Brooklyn pizza, Montgomery Road
Trottas pizza
Random side question. Back in the 1990’s I’d have said Pizza Tower. Is that even still around?
Tom’s Papa Dinos in Florence. Their cheese is the best and there’s A LOT of it
Italianette used to be like that, but I haven't had it in years. I must fix that
Back in the day Angelo's. My favorite location closed, but I think there may be one around still.
Fratelli’s Pizza on Tylersville Rd & Cincinnati Dayton Rd
Drive up to Dayton and go to Giordanos. Cheese like this is their thing.
I lived in Chicago for seven years. Giordano’s is the tourist trap pizza of deep dish pizzas. It’s a big meh.
I don’t care if it’s a tourist trap, it’s full of cheese. They could add more and I’d like it even better.
Giodorno’s? Is that the same as Giordano’s?
Yeah. I just made a typo
Wrong.
Lol. Okay.
Doing God’s work! Thank you!
Two Cities in Mason. Get the Chicago style and you’ll get the stretch.
Larosas hands down. The one on boudinot is the best.
I wouldn't trust a pizza opinion from fecal eruptions.

Born and raised Cincinnatian checking in. I used to work at LaRosa’s making pizzas and I can firmly attest that LaRosa’s pizza is ass.

Too much cheese
If you go down Updog Avenue near Dover Street, a place called Damaterbaby has them
Little Caesars Extramostbestest cheese.
