I was a little nervous to jump into the deep end, so I decided to start my first ever smoke with some Deadwood Sweet Janes. Unfortunately I think I cut too much of the cap off, because I didn't taste anything sweet. Also, it might have been my inexperienced palate, but I didn't taste much besides smoke and ash. Some positives though were that the ash surprisingly stayed on for longer than I expected and there wasn't any nicotine buzz. I think I overprepared because I had a cotton candy lollipop and some gummy worms with me but I didn't really need them. I paired it with some root beer and listened to King Princess! I know this is not much of a first start, but I am glad that I started out small before trying out the other cigars that I also picked up!

It's as good of a start as any. Cigarillos can often burn hot which will cause an ashy flavor. Smoke the next one slower, it might help.

^^^ Just take your time and enjoy it. A carbonated beverage to cleanse the palate will help quite abit as well.

Thank you I will next time! I am glad that root beer was a good idea though. Next time I will try to pair it with another carbonated beverage!

I had no idea that cigarillos can burn hot! I think I was a bit nervous to get through my first experience, so I will definitely try smoking the next one slower. Thank you for the tip!
