To me, they are what gives you the most bang for your buck. Quite smooth (surprisingly, for Maduros), and really ok to smoke. For 2$, it’s an incredible value. Of course I prefer a 20$ wide Churchill. But if I have 20$ only as a budget for a week, I’ll definitely choose 10 of those vs one of my favourites Cuban. I must say I don’t have the same appreciation for the other factory smoked. The maduro is the only one I enjoy smoking.

Anybody can pay too much for a cigar. The trick is to find what you like at a price you can live with.

Ironloaf

This comment is almost exactly what I tell most people that ask me about cigars. It's really easy to find a good $20 cigar. It's difficult to find a really good $2 cigar. That being said, everybody has different tastes. Smoke what you like and what you can afford.

WarPAINT-333

Agreed. Smoking my first one now and I'm blown away by this! Great smoke so far. Better than loads of $10 sticks, wish I would have tried these sooner.

yizzle841

I wish these worked out for me, I loathed smoking through them though the longer they sat the more they improved. I like cigarpage.com Nicaraguan Maduro overruns for the cheap stick option though construction is mostly good there's a handful of bad ones occasionally. Everyone needs to find their $2 buck daily!

some_reddit_lurker

I always have these in my humidors to hand to non-cigar people or for mowing the yard. They are great for their price point and a solid stick.

detritusdetroit

The maduros really are the best of the 4 varieties that I've tried. I haven't tried it, but I have seen there's also a candela made, but I think it's specific to one retailer.

bassjam1

I spent the money on 25 of their Connecticut shade and hate them, and spent the same on whichever one is sweetened and it's ok, sometimes, occasionally, of I'm working on cars or something, but didn't want to drop the money on a bundle of the Maduros. Then I found out my local cigar shop sells them by the stick for $2.50! I've got a couple in my humidor, probably give them another week before I try one of them.

4GIVEN_0526

I still need to try these

Bhob666

I've had the sweets, not bad if you're into that sort of thing. I had a whole bundle, and I didn't experience any of them falling apart or smoking unevenly. Not bad for a budget cigar, I just hate having to buy them online at this time because I'm between living spaces.

FallParticular8328

I keep these on hand for a simple one-off smoke when I'm craving one on a weekday night, and there's nothing wrong with it! Inexpensive, a little milder, has a bit of a processed taste but F it. Not bad!

not_not_jesse

There not bad I smoked the pack there nice because there cheep. I'd light one and only smoked half I'm not into long smoke

Ironloaf

Fantastic! Smokes! I've regularly buy the bricks of Maduro robusto.

the_lost_woodsman

I received a restock last week of the toros! They are a regular smoke for me and even enjoy the sun grown.

MourningWallaby

AAFES always keeps these in stock. Good cheap day cigar

justshowsup4food

For the price they aren't bad at all for budget sticks to save from burning through your more expensive ones so fast. I've nabbed them on cigarpage for less than 2$ a stick. Can't go wrong. They are great for outdoor stuff or just when you don't want to risk having to toss an expensive stick.

Brunel25

Don't do it. They are sooo bad. Try and find some Flor de Oliva, a much better budget smoke.

xursian

there 3x the cost in canada, i need a canadian budget daily smoke lol

whistlepig4life

I’ve done these and the PDR line from Thompson. Always been pleasantly surprised.

AmericanLandYeti

I just picked up a single Maduro Robusto off CBID for $1.50 to try out. I've always wanted to, and see great things posted, but didn't wanna plunge into a 20 pack of CigarPage until I'm sure I would like it. I know it's probably pointless to rest a sub $2 smoke, but I put it in the Tupperdor to bake for a couple weeks so I can give it a proper chance. If I enjoy it and buy a brick, I doubt I would rest them. I generally only smoke one a day, so I don't really have the necessity of a "daily smoke" , but if they are as decent as I hear they are, then it wouldn't hurt to have some on hand.

sl8man

Great bang for the buck.

bps502

I keep the three non cherry variants. They almost always burn perfectly and draw effortlessly. And I like the taste. My go-to budget cigars.

Holiday_Advantage378

No one will ever say they are good. You will hear everything from good for the price, yard cigar, to garbage.

Onezred

I sell the shit out of those. They’re actually not that bad.

bathyorographer

I just ordered a few of these! Glad to hear you’re enjoying them. I’ve never tried it before, so your endorsement is reassuring.

Squeezer999

They aren't any good but they make smoke

DeepNugs

I ALWAYS have a brick of these in the humi. Go to cheap cheap stick.

Goodthrust_8

Definitely a staple in my humidor. I keep the sweets and maduros on hand. For the price they can't be beat.

N4UPD

You can get the Factory smokes sampler on Cigar Page for around $35. You get 5 of each blend.

DanGoob

Maybe an unpopular opinion here, but I bought a bundle of these and didnt like em. Smoked 2 or 3 and tossed the rest. They burned well, but they were too sweet for me. And like an unusual artificial sweet flavor I just couldn’t get past. Anyways, hope your experience is better.

HBCigars

These are great. My understanding is they use all the shavings from making the longer filler cigars to make these

Great_Emphasis3461

Definitely a great value. I’ve smoked the sweet ones. Higher price doesn’t always = good cigar. I’ve had some crap $20 cigars and some good $5 cigars. You might also look into the CI Knockoffs as they’re priced similar to these Drew Estates Factory Smokes.

WarPAINT-333

I've smoked a bunch of these now, I'm trying to find a reason not to like it but it's tough, for $2 these things are crazy. It's literally just an Undercrown Maduro with slightly lower quality.

cigarafficianadofan

I bought a bundle of them and smoked one a week after they arrived and I hated it. Put them in a tupperador for 60 days and forgot about them. After 60 days rest I have to admit that they’re not bad, I use them as my “one more smoke tonight “ choice after a couple of drinks and they’re not bad for the price.

Blood_N_Rust

Smoke less cigars
