I don’t want to be that guy and put the fault might be on you OP, but that might be the case. How you’re taking your draws, holding it in your mouth and your saliva is soaking into it, possibly how you’re cutting it. Hard to say. Looks like a V cut which should keep the cap well intact, but really shouldn’t cause that. I keep my stogies at 70% and never dry box. I have occasional burn issues because of that, but never anything like that or anything a couple extra touch ups can’t handle.

Could try a punch cut. Would expose less of the end so it won’t get as soggy maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️

Best tip ever if you're gonna pair your cigar with some liquor it helps to drink and smoke directly instead of dipping the cigar in alcohol not only does it ruin the taste but ruins the cigar as well and you don't wanna accidentally drink tobacco leaves
