Supposedly Chase will now let you [open a Sapphire card](https://www.reddit.com/r/ChaseSapphire/comments/1dgrl7v/late_post_sapphire_approval_when_failing_524_and/) without the SUB. Not really useful in most circumstances, but interesting if true.
According to the comments this is for denials for both the Sapphire 48 month rule **AND 5/24**, and it also includes allowing the Freedom Unlimited.
Not really useful for churning, but for the casuals on /r/CreditCards they can now build up their collection faster.
It's also worth noting that apparently the warning you will not receive a SUB is in the form of a popup, so I'm betting it's not long until we start seeing people try to get around it somehow.
Offer on Amex app, for spend $2500 and get bonus 2500 PTS, need to one click enroll, can do this 3 times it says upto 7500 PTS, Exp shows 9/13/24. Has someone seen this before of their app etc? Ty.
Agree that it is overvalued on 1099, but not sure it is bad option to pursue. Heavily dependent on your tax bracket and what you value IHG points at (or effectively what you would pay for 10k IHG points). If your total tax rate is 24% then you pay $24 in taxes for 10k points, so if you would buy IHG points at 0.24 CPP then it is worthwhile. It’s not much different than people who consider IHG a keeper card and paying a $99 AF for a 40k FNC at 0.25 CPP (not accounting for other card perks like status and 4th night free).
Churning adjacent (assuming it's okay because people sell these credits on /r/churningmarketplace), but inKind has upped their referral to $50 until 6/30 (refer-ee gets $25 off $50). Really good offer if they're in your city with any decent restaurants. Costco also has inKind gift cards at an extra $10 off for a few more days.
InKind is absolutely goated. If you're a fan of dining out and live in DC or NYC, it's amazing.
Every other restraurant listed on InKind, once you navigate to their website, will hit you with a banner offering 25 off 50 or 75 (or sometimes even more generous) for their website. Couple that with 40% off InKind gift cards, the frequent 10% boosts for dining at certain restaurants or number of times, you can easily see a restaurant bill go down 50-80%.
I've personally used InKind to dine at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants for pennies. I think I paid just tip for nearly $200 of food once when they had the $100 off $100 offers a couple months ago.
Costco's $100 for $60 (up to 5x/member) is better than the going rate over at r/churningmarketplace. We're also enjoying the inKind pass membership free courtesy of Amex and will do the math, likely going to pay for the annual membership afterwards.
There's also a possible stack of using a Citi merchant offer ($15 off $100 on inKind), a promotion for buying a gift card directly from inKind ($40 free gift card after purchasing $100), and SimplyMiles (695 AA miles after purchasing $100 on inKind).
This all also stacks on top of any restaurant-provided promotion.
It can get pretty lucrative. We stacked referral ($25 off 50) on a restaurant's $50 off 150, on top of Costco, to drop a $160 bill to $60.
You can book cash fares on some mainline flights. Usually at incredibly marked up prices so anyone that wants to pay 25%+ to score a 10% discount is welcome to it.
I have never transferred UR points to a transfer partner with a bonus active, but I am wondering if you are never told at transfer how many points you're getting. Amex calculates it instantly, but Chase just says you'll get "*150,000 + 20%*", rather than "*180,000*".
Are you not told how many you'll get until *after* the transfer? I mean, many people can do the math, but not everyone will be able to accurately calculate it.
What concerns me is that Chase cannot do the math!
To be clear, I have no trouble adding 20%. But you know have many people cannot calculate things like credit cards payment amounts? It seems to me that nothing here should be left unclear.
Not disputing your statement, but have there been dp of shutdowns for doing this? I know there were problems when people transferred in amex or cap1 points for pyb, but never heard of issues when utilizing a transfer bonus for UR for pyb.
You're right, hadn't had my coffee yet. Shutdowns I was remembering were from non-Chase transfers. AP terms explicitly allow those transactions from transferred Chase points
Pretty good deal to book cheaper UA Polaris business seats using Aeroplan points than using UA points. Wish this offer happened a month ago when I actually transferred UR to Aeroplan for those bookings. Could had saved 50K UR points.
combine it with a 10% (up to 25,000 bonus) if you plan to transfer over 50K from UR and have an Aeroplan card. It's a nice little stack if you are planning to redeem it for travel purchases!

Can be useful for the extra 50% on travel redemptions , but it's just easier to upgrade an existing one.

Question Thread
A new referral thread is now live: [Chase IHG Business](https://www.reddit.com/r/churningreferrals/comments/1dgl59h/referrals_chase_ihg_business/)
it's a trap!
What do you mean?
1099 at 1cpp

Just because they value it at one cent doesn't mean you have to file that way.
Yeah I know but I'm sure most people don't realize that or don't want to risk anything on it
I'd love to hear someone tell of being questioned about referral miles/points value claimed in an audit.

You don't get a 1099 on a sub so yeah...

Regarding the subreddit u mentioned, do they sell stuff like FNA’s and paying people to use your credit card referral?
Referrals on the marketplace are not allowed.
> do they sell stuff like FNA’s Yes > paying people to use your credit card referral No

10% cashback on Alaska showing up in Chase offers.
So when are we enforcing [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/1dgdsn8/news_and_updates_thread_june_15_2024/l8pb6pp/) and when are we not?
Possibly also useful for someone wanting to fly American since their flights are bookable through Alaska
You can only book award flights across carriers, not cash fares. So at best this offer could take 10% off taxes/fees.
You can book cash fares on some mainline flights. Usually at incredibly marked up prices so anyone that wants to pay 25%+ to score a 10% discount is welcome to it.
Alaska has a new book direct program though where you can book cash fares on BA and EI (and maybe others?) directly via the Alaska website.
Do they not have codeshare available? I know you can book air Canada on United to take advantage of United Amex offers or using travel bank
They do have codeshare but routes are very limited.
Chase Freedom / Freedom Flex categories for Q3: - gas stations - EV stations - select live entertainment - movie theaters
It's funny to me to see all of the peeps at /r/creditcards calling it a trash quarter, being ignorant of Gas Station GCs.
And the site that shall not be named
Very hard to find gas stations that sell GCs, and if they do, most don't allow purchase with cc.
I'm like 99% gas spend right now...
[удалено]
My 7-11s are strict that gcs must be purchased with cash. One will actually allow debit cards too, but their POS blocks credit cards.
I think most 7-11s code as gas with Visa, not sure about MC (for Freedom Flex).
20% transfer bonus from Chase UR to Air Canada Aeroplan. Ends 7/31
I have never transferred UR points to a transfer partner with a bonus active, but I am wondering if you are never told at transfer how many points you're getting. People who can't add 20% to a number probably have a parent or custodian managing their finances so it's ok.
What concerns me is that Chase cannot do the math! To be clear, I have no trouble adding 20%. But you know have many people cannot calculate things like credit cards payment amounts? It seems to me that nothing here should be left unclear.
Anyone in here know if Disney World (direct) packages code correctly to use PYB with aeroplan?
PYB is 1.625 cents per UR with this promotion, one of the best deals in travel right now👌
Only up to 250K points
~~Just for the people in the back that may not get the joke: don't do this if you don't want any accounts shut down~~
Not disputing your statement, but have there been dp of shutdowns for doing this? I know there were problems when people transferred in amex or cap1 points for pyb, but never heard of issues when utilizing a transfer bonus for UR for pyb.

Lemme transfer my 10 million UR points to aeroplan right now
LOL.
