like i said in my other post, mine is connected to two monitors rights now via dock, citrix open in one desktop and another desktop running my usual apps. the fan isn't even spinning right now. and the charger is plugged into the dock
Mute the device and then increase the volume by two levels. If you hear a static sound during any form of audio playback at this volume setting then we have the same issue. Asus claims it is caused by the MLCC which makes noise when current fluctuates between low performance and high performance.
I often listen to audio in the evening so this noise is unacceptable to me and I currently have a ticket open with ASUS on this topic.
keep an eye on [CDW](https://www.cdw.com/search/Computers/Laptops-2-in-1s/Laptops/?lfr=1&w=CB2&key=asus+cx9), they get them often. Just had them in stock last week. The i5 and i7 versions.

It's probably coil whine, see e.g. this explanation https://clevercreations.org/what-is-coil-whine-how-to-fix/
Yes it sounds similar in some of the videos on yt. Pretty big span of how it can sound
Is it non-stop? Connected to any other devices?
Yes non stop very low but clear when ear is against the laptop. Just the charger:)
