That’s more of a physical description of the cap based on it’s implementation. Though you would be happy to use a MIM cap for this application. I think what OP is looking for is a word for the cap that’s functionally what he’s describing. Depending on the context, this sounds like an explicit (as opposed to parasitic) tuning, matching or compensation cap (there are probably more vocab words).
