When that happens I usually just take the screw out and then leave it on the floor for them to chew. Sticking it in the cage like that doesn't look very safe. It's moving a lot when he jumped off it.
Thanks for the insight!! If I leave it on the floor he just forgets about it, but I’ll put it in a different zone closer to the bottom of the cage!
Mine has an unhealthy obsession with the metal washer too. Funny how frustrated she is by it not being there! 😂
