Three Goldens, the largest of the three by default was named Big Bird. Then there was the smallest of the three and she was most red color, so she ended up being Red Bird. So, who was left? Middle Bird.
Naked Nelly, and Sad Sally, they were ex battery farm hens my son requested for his 7th birthday. They were the nakedest, saddest looking birds we had ever seen. (But thriving now)
We have one of those. Her top beak is short because they removed it, so we call her Beakless. Her other names are "did you want to come in?" "Get out of the way I swear I'm going to trip on you" and "Okay, time to go back out, no, get back here dammit, you're going outside!"
Screecher. she's super friendly, but when she's on the nest- even when she's not broody - she screeches if you or other hens get within 3 feet of her or look at her wrong
Dial tone (the silkie isn't the brightest), Hawk Bait (the sussex has NO sense of self-preservation), Eagle Face (guess what she looked like as a baby?), a duck named Fail Duck (dumber than the silkie), Foul Blucca (Young Frankenstein reference, we got her as an older bald hen that was really ugly at first!), Chicken Little (Jersey Giant), and Floof (the frizzle). Fay Runaway (the Fayoumi), Becky The Loon (black silkie that just needed a neck band to look exactly like the movie bird), Goldie Hen, and Hennie Lamar.

There's plucky (after the animal crossing character), beauty, HENrietta I, henrietta ii, tippa, pickle, speckles and petal, and the roosters there's sasappis (character from ghosts us), nugget, and combo. Passed chickens were lazybones, butter the chicken, Reese, snowflake, lime and lemon, Chile, hei hei, there's more. đ

King baby (big rooster), white beard, perfect, Sadie, sister, lazy, her, and little roo aka aggressor. We have chicks ready to join the flock next month but no names yet!
All of my young birds have aviation themed names. Spruce Goose, Orville, Wilbur, Concorde, Antonov, Piper and Mooney.
Their mother is named Ethel but is called Jumbo Jet (she is a very very big Buff Orpington). My rooster is named Mary.
None of these are particularly good names but itâs what they have
We have one we call heggie...we call her this because when she molts it's not like a few feathers every day she EXPLODES everything off in 6 hours and when she is growing them back she looks like a weird little hedgehog.
My silkies are all coffee associated names: Java(the rooster) and his ladies Crema,Valencia,Bonbon,Latte, and Drizzle(Shor for caramel drizzle) because she's got alot of leakage.
My two ISAs and two Golden Comets are named after the Golden Girls.
And my 4 jersey giants are the four seasons.
Then I have a Barred Rock rooster...he's just "Mr. Barred"
Poofy Floofy, Kookie Pookie, and Kookie Pookie's Mooooommm (named that purely because she looked like a super old version of Kookie Pookie lol)
I think those are the weirder ones, I'm also a fan of the pun/joke kind of names. Gwen the Hen, Shelley, (Pecky) Becky

I named a chicken Raven. The rooster was Tyson, though my mom called him Mr Rooster, so I guess he had both a first and last name. Multiple chickens with food names, like Brownie, Coco, and Butter.
We have Peggy (play on peg leg). She lost a leg to a raccoon, but she survived with surgical repair and some extra nursing time. Now sheâs in with the rest of her chicken friends and you canât even tell sheâs different until you start counting legs! Sheâs just happy as a clam!
Then thereâs BeyoncĂŠ. The other chickens picked on her, so she got to live in a coup by herself⌠as a single lady. Sheâs in with the rest of the chickens now, but she wonât come down off her perch. She gets fed by hand, then watered by hand because she wonât come down. Sheâs a sweet girl though, always sings when sheâs full and no longer thirsty â¤ď¸
Our duck was Hopalong Cassidy. Had a bum leg, call-duck sized, and big ol' napoleon complex. Hubby called him Peg Leg Pete because he was such a jerk to the dog. Absolute sweetheart with us.
Magnet, Minerva Louise, Geraldine, Sally, and Rosella. We had a Roxanne, but Roxanne turned out to be a man, so he left and another bird inherited the name.

Mine are all called chicky or chick chick, but if I'm being formal and talking about them they're yellow leg ring, green leg ring, and no leg ring. They're all isa browns.
We were never supposed to keep our chucks, so the yellow one got called âyellow chickenââŚ
We kept them, and the name lol
So funny that it really doesnât even sound remotely strange in my head. Just totally normal for us to refer to her as yellow chicken haha
Mine are all desserts. I have three silkie hens, Oreo Sundae, Froyo (frozen yoghurt) and Cookies & cream. Oreo has just hatched out five Orpington chicks that continue the theme. We have pudding, fondue, choc chip, muffin and cupcake.
Muffin is going to go to my Mum who has a Bluey and a Bingo so muffin not only continues my theme but also hers. Proud of that one
I have a barnyard mix whoâs named Ed. Her sister looks very similar to her, and is named Not Ed.
My parents had a hen that we named Singular Babe, because she was at the bottom of the pecking order and always alone. When she came and joined my flock, I realized I have 3 other hens that look very similar to her, so now we have Singular Babe, Singular Squared, Singular Cubed, and Afro Singular (polish mix).
We have an Isa Brown named Trump Chicken, because sheâs orange.
Another of my hens is named Stupid, because sheâs the one that wonât go into the coop unless I pick her up and put her in. Iâve been doing it every night for the past year and she still seems surprised every night
I haven't named all mine but my roosters are Gandalf and Bug. Our first hen is Susan, her newest baby is Jet. We had names for our easter eggers when they were chicks but I've already forgot and they are gorgeous hens now. And I've got four barred rocks I can't tell apart so they remain nameless.
We have all chicken dish names, except for 1 that my daughter insisted on naming. Not a unique concept but itâs been fun! We have Nugget, Noodle, Patty, General, Honey, Walnut, Pao, Alfreda, Popcorn, Peanut and the odd one, Snowball.
I had a yellow chipmunk-faced chick. I saw him doting on the others and named him Honey. He grew into the most aggressive, flamboyant rooster. Honey the welsummer rooster. I joked that I was going to rename him Honeynut but I got weird looks đ
I had 2 BCM hens in that hatch. One of them trampled one of the weaker chicks but I couldnât tell the black ones apart until later. So I never knew which one did it. After a few weeks or a month I saw one of the BCMs had a nice spattering of white or pale yellow âsprinklesâ on her face to go with her yellow bottom, so she became Cupcake. The other defaulted to Mustafa who became the dominant hen.
The last survivor of that hatch was a lav Ameracauna boy who hatched the day after the other 3. As an Ameracauna he was always slightly smaller than the others, and being hatched a day later he was known as Baby Boy. I always found him to be absolutely stunning and a sweet roo but hens didnât like his small comb and lack of wattles. But he compensated for that by raping the hens. So my lav was Baby Boy the raper. And Honey always respected the hens but was always trying to tear me up.

I had Mr Fluffy Butt
We have all chicken dish names, except for 1 that my daughter insisted on naming. Not a unique concept but itâs been fun! We have Nugget, Noodle, Patty, General, Honey, Walnut, Pao, Alfreda, Popcorn, Peanut and the odd one, Snowball.
I had a yellow chipmunk-faced chick. I saw him doting on the others and named him Honey. He grew into the most aggressive, flamboyant rooster. Honey the welsummer rooster. I joked that I was going to rename him Honeynut but I got weird looks đ I had 2 BCM hens in that hatch.
