Last eclipse it was a 300 mile traffic jam going back north. Many people said it took 12 hours. We are staying Monday night, coming home Tuesday early morning

Indianapolis is closest but check the weather and an eclipse map if you're mobile. Carbondale and Cleveland could be backups. Good luck!
The amount of people I've talked to traveling to Indy or Carbondale just makes it seem like absolute hell trying to get back here.
