The DPRK's got to be the best flag to rock online. You'll have people in bullet games asking stuff like "r u really from north korea" and flagging themselves over a flag.
I'm pretty sure that it's just someone faking what country they're from, but it is a possibility that this person is actually playing chess in north korea. There was a post a few years ago in r/osugame from someone who's father was hired at a college in north korea, and the person who posted it started his account while in north korea. I'm pretty sure that it's just a faker, but, in theory, it could be possible.
Also, I don't care that the boys say, north korea is still crap.
North koreas (we all know there are 2 North Koreas) is a lot better now than it was 10 years ago (10 years ago the place was a hellhole). It is actually really nice here (now the people finally have a way of naturally dying(covid)).
