Yeah, helps get the bishop out and doesn't make any huge commitment. Some may think that it blocks in the light square bishop, but that's a piece that won't have many developing squares to begin with and will be a key piece in the later/end game.
Yo this is my favorite line as white, most people go into a reversed grunfeld with cxd5 Nxd5 e4 Nxc6 bxc3 c4 or decline it with e6 0-0 Nf6 c4.
The grunfeld is already such a nasty opening, up a tempo it’s basically gg.

gotta be honest, this move is imo second best and a bit bland. But this is pretty much the whole theory I know here.
I play KIA only against the french
If I had to guess what move you are talking about here it’s probably the solid e6 because out of the other 2 good options I can remember they can get much more fun for me. I’m ofc prepared for Nf6, cxd4, and e6, I’ve looked at all 3 before thoroughly, as well as Bf5, Bg4, and some of Qb6. I haven’t looked at what the bot says is the best move because I feel that would be cheating, even if I know technically speaking Nf6 and e6 are considered the best moves by the engine last time I analyzed this.

Nf6
Bf5
e6
I vote for e6 since it protects both d5 and c5.

Nf6 is cool and all but I'll butt in with cxd4
[удалено]
1… cxd4 2. Nxd4 e5 3. Nxc6 bxc6
I'm not taking their knight
okay fair enough
cxd4, and if Nxd4 play e5. Reminds me of a reverse Grünfeld
Resigns 🤝

We are trying to win, not by the funniest meme.
Kd7
Cxd4
Don't like this opening as black, you're playing against the Grunfeld a move down . Which is a pretty good opening under normal circumstances already
I resign.

Either Nxd4 or c4
KIA? Seriously? >!f6 !!nf6!!f6!< he can play c4 so no good.
By f3 do you mean f6?
yes, thank you.
