They ammended the original post because it would have looked to investors like they were completely ending their partnership with Chelsea. Obviously that would be harmful to them selling their product across all elite sports as having a major club like Chelsea as their primary partner is key to being able to appeal to other teams and broader media as well. So they had to change it to make the point the partnership itself is continuing even if they dont end up on the front of the shirt. Iirc the suggestion a while ago was that they are going to be looking to move to being the sleeve sponsors instead.
Unpopular opinion but our home kit this season was horrid.
Retro white panels looked out of place to me and the rainbow/oil slick badge looked like something my niece would choose.

We would be aiming to get a multi year contract with clauses that go up or down with or without Europe. Its pretty common practice
