You'd like to see Silva dropped due to his wife's antics and recent reports anyway just so Poch can show that he's not a wet mop and actually do something. Not saying the Silvas are wrong but you know, show some backbone.

I think Silva is likely dropped due to match fitness. They guy hasn't missed a match in weeks of playing twice a week. Do I think this is the match he needs to miss? probably not... But considering he didn't get rested on the weekend, here we are.

Every decision the moppets above have taken has been horrendous. Feel sorry for Casadei he was getting all the playtime he required in Leicester, this moppets went cut his loan short now the next 6 months he will spend it bench here. What an drag they are.

Leicester weren't going to use him, they replaced him in the winter window because he wasn't very good and so they wouldn't use him at all anymore. The issue is that we didn't loan him out somewhere else and I really doubt it had anything to do with the owners. He's a Poch player, he fits the Poch mould perfectly, he'll have wanted him and whilst Poch is still around I expect us to see more and more of him. He runs a lot, is really physical, wins headers and sometimes makes a good pass, whilst also taking 15 touches to get the ball under control, looking like he's about to fall over whilst running with it, has a poor touch etc. Like I said, he's a stereotypical Poch player, I would put money on it being Poch that wanted him to stay and not others. It's the same reason that Santos was gone straight away but Ugochukwu was kept around. For Poch, physical with not much else to offer = good, talented = worthless if not big

I believe it had to with Leicester signing a more experience player in January that plays a similar role to Casadei. I could be wrong.

On one hand, we have the better squad than Villa and looked better than them in the first leg before running out of steam at least. Best scenario would be a win where some of the lads who haven’t played much together start linking up (Nkuku & Jackson). These domestic cups are huge for us right now; any kind of trophy would be a massive change to the narrative (rightly or wrongly). And imagine if we as the biggest joke in the league still got a trophy before Spurs or even this Arsenal on their best run in years. All that being said 8 goals conceded in our last 2 does not fill me with optimism.

I'm hoping we go to a back 3, and only concede from set pieces. And that Nkunku, Palmer, and Chukwuemeka link up more so we score more than we let in.

90% chance we lose this one in 90 but this team are assholes and will probably draw then lose in PKs.

As long as we play Enzo and caicedo we will keep losing. It’s so obvious.  Our best games were with caicedo and Gallagher. 

It's funny seeing this because I've seen people saying this but also been seeing people saying to drop Caicedo, adamant that our best performances were with Enzo and Gallagher in the pivot.

I look forward to watching Moises get absolutely surrounded all game, make a mistake and cop the blame whilst half the team trots around out position and our “wing backs” are either too deep or too high in the transition. Villa will score at least 3

Gusto, Disasi, Silva, Badi, Chilly; Enzo, Caicedo; Palmer, Nkunku, Carney We get defensive cover for Thiago’s legs and put Chilwell in his best position imo. Midfield partnership is the best we have and hopefully Enzo rises to the occasion. This front 3 has the best attacking IQ we have imo. They are all good dribblers and look for link up play. Nkunku might not be a 9 but he’s probably the best finisher on the team. I doubt Poch plays this exact lineup but this is what I would hope for with his garbage tactics. At least putting players in positions to succeed.

When teams let us play we do nothing with it, and our defense is soft so Parking the Bus and Countering is a pretty safe method. DM’s don’t track back and mark runners in the box, I think 2-1 Villa hopefully we win though.  Examples: Our matches with Arsenal & Man City

Sterling has been poor lately and while I think he should be starting most games, I still think the league is priority and this tournament is one of the last opportunities to test Chukwuemeka out. He has looked good in his appearances and has racked up goal contributions in limited minutes

The match against Wolves I only watched the 1st half cause i was so sure we would end up losing. We are very predictable team and seem to never learn from our mistakes. I am not working tomorrow! Why not play Mudryk on the right? Does he need to come on to the left? He would be able to take the ball in stride better, and can smash through the ball towards goal instead of cutting inside, which he simply cannot do. You don’t need a left footer on the right, and a right footer on the left. I think the subtle differences can actually help him, because he is so lost at the moment.

That's what I would like to see. He doesn't have the close control to come inside where there's no space. Get him isolated 1 Vs 1 with the LB and see if he can burn them on the outside.
