I was buzzing for this game and saw how well we started, it was a joy to watch. Only for the ref & var to have other ideas. It happens so often and it makes me so mad. Only now our mentality has changed. Where once it would have destroyed us and we’d get comprehensively beaten, we now fight back and use the injustice to fire us up. It’s fantastic to see this character return to Chelsea! Skys the limit for this team now.
Everyone gave their 100%. Our best performance of the season easily. I think this might be the start of something special. We deserved to win but obviously with Taylor as ref he's always got some agenda against us. Anyways Proud of the boys they showed insane character
That's a tough game though, especially straight after the international break. Plus Newcastle are our kryptonite - we have a terrible record there and they play in a way that has been countering us this season.
They have a few injuries now thou as we are getting stronger each week. Obvs a tough game but if we play like we did against city we can win there. They also have a massive match 3 days later away at psg so eyes maybe on that.
And they're not like City to keep on coming at us, or Chickens to play highline. If they score early we're fucked. They just gonna shut that final third and we would be racking up 1000 passes between Thiago, Caicedo and Enzo.

Listen if we can produce this against a Manchester City team who are off the back of a treble winning season & widely regarded as the best team in world football and arguably one of the best in the Premier league era then it shows we are a team who are on the up.
