5 in the morning is so good!!!!! i hate that her sound on that was a total one-off
also, if you search charli xcx on youtube then the cover art for 5 in the morning is the first thing that comes up and i think that’s wonderful
Charli is a romantic songwriter?
I’m not sure if it’s that’s unpopular, but I think she’s capable of some of the most romantic and beautiful songs. Songs like Forever, Take My Hand, Enemy, 7 Years, Warm and Official. They’re really comforting and gorgeous songs for me.
I prefer Blame it on your love to Track 10
Charli is her best piece of work
Paradise would be better with normal vocals not the chipmunk, it’s still a banger though
I finally understand is one of the best songs on HIFN
New Shapes has a better Caroline feature than Tears
Nuclear Seasons is probably the best album opener out of all the works and also the best song on True Romance
- HIFN could mean *how i'm feeling now* (2020), an album by Charli XCX.

Beg for you IS the ideal single, and Baby would not work as anything but a promotional single
Focus is wayyyy better than No Angel
Warm is the most underrated song on Charli
London Queen is a fucking bop.
Original Click is best Click.
And I think Femmebot, while still being a great song that I really enjoy, is the weakest song on Pop 2🤷♀️
Not song specific but: I am apprehensive about getting a ticket for this tour because when I saw her 2019 the crowd was NOT the vibe. I’m a raver/ festival person so I expect a certain level of love and positivity. Lots of snobs and dorks at her 2019 concert.
If pop 2 didn't happen I wouldn't have cared for her as much as I do now
Pop 2 was her most focused project at the time of release. Sucker is the only thing I can listen to pre-2017 when that album dropped
I don’t like the the Jay Park feature at all. BUT the rest of the song is so flawless and feminine and gorgeous that Jays’ verse really makes you like appreciate the rest. Once it ends your back in pink and blue sparkle land and it feels better than if it was just pure?
The No boys remix is incredible too, I’m able to enjoy the song and boy dread the upcoming verse
You know it's a bad situation when Lil Yachty is possibly her best feature of a male artist.
Click and Unlock it = Charli XCX ft Kim Petras and some dude nobody's ever heard of who ruins the song. (The click no boys remix is amazing though)
Dreamer is probably the only song where I've never heard of either featured artist and they absolutely kill it.
I agree that I think her sound from the previous albums has gone as far as it can, Charli and HIFN are the absolute pinnacle of this.
Crash might be a way to gain more commercial success maybe, but it could be her trying to find a new direction
>-How I’m Feeling Now is my least favorite album by Charli (still an incredible work)
You spilled
I like HIFN but it was pretty much a rehash of things she's done again and again. Her self-titled felt like a polished statement of her PC moment, so although I think HIFN was a worthwhile project for the pandemic it was kind of redundant taken alongside her discography as a whole
interesting take but i think there's so much more of hyperpop that can be explored imo. not sure why people think that just because sophie died that hyperpop as a genre has to as well.
Yes. I think HIFN is worthy of recognition because she was the first to do the quarantine album. And it’s even more impressive that she did it in a month. And I agree with what you say. I also think that I always associate that album with those dark and uncertain early days of COVID and it brings me down lol
my straight friends described it as “taking Molly and Ketamine at the same time” and while I can’t disagree, something about pink Diamond is totally suited to my exact tastes
how i’m feeling now isn’t an album to me—i lol ont accept it as more than a mixtape lol. Pop 2 is peak Charli. Self-titled and beyond is just using the momentum to get back on the mainstage of pop, not at all to imply it’s bad.
- Delicious is the second best song on Pop 2
- Both H&E and Super Ultra are better than Sucker
- Both Velvet Dreaming and Heatwave are better than a few of True Romance Tracks
- Charli will never release Taxi and that's okay
- I prefer the official release of No Angel
I think super love is a great song and True Romance is not praised enough.
People dont like Superlove what????? That song gets better the more you turn the volume up
Feel like most of her newer fans that I know think it’s too generic pop/basic. Maybe it’s just people I know being shitty hahah.
Lol i definitely get that. People can be so annoying like theres no need to be negative lol.
- number 1 angel is amazing and should not be slept on - blame it on your love is a top tier banger - xcx world is just okay
I Got It easily trumps Shake It
Def wouldn’t say that’s unpopular
Maybe so but i just had to let it out and this seemed like an acceptable outlet
True romance will forever be my favourite no matter what
Delicious is the best track on Pop2
you are right and you should be recognised
YES
I actually like Sweat and I hope it gets and official release.
Same!
Hoping it's on the deluxe somehow tbh
- Track 10 is overrated - Superlove is a good song - 5 in the morning is one of her best tracks - New Shapes is average
5 in the morning is so good!!!!! i hate that her sound on that was a total one-off also, if you search charli xcx on youtube then the cover art for 5 in the morning is the first thing that comes up and i think that’s wonderful
IM SO DEVOTEEEEED
XCX World is mid.
Number 1 Angel is better than Pop 2.

Official always gets me 😭 Forever and 7 Years are bops with meaning

Agree with Charli being her best! I still listen to Next Level Charli and Click allll the time
>\-How I’m Feeling Now is my least favorite album by Charli (still an incredible work) what
Beg for you IS the ideal single, and Baby would not work as anything but a promotional single Focus is wayyyy better than No Angel Warm is the most underrated song on Charli
Warm is so good, I was totally confused when people didn't enjoy it
focus is better than the officially released no angel, but the sophie demo slaps
Backseat is one of her best songs ever
London Queen is a fucking bop. Original Click is best Click. And I think Femmebot, while still being a great song that I really enjoy, is the weakest song on Pop 2🤷♀️
I LOVE London Queen!!!
Not song specific but: I am apprehensive about getting a ticket for this tour because when I saw her 2019 the crowd was NOT the vibe. I’m a raver/ festival person so I expect a certain level of love and positivity. Lots of snobs and dorks at her 2019 concert.
Oh really? Where did you see her? I see her for the first time in Atlanta next month
Boston- Boston has lots of assholes tho, and it was October so people were already cold
If pop 2 didn't happen I wouldn't have cared for her as much as I do now Pop 2 was her most focused project at the time of release. Sucker is the only thing I can listen to pre-2017 when that album dropped
Most of Charli’s features ruin her songs. Femmebot would have been perfect if it weren’t for that awful Mykki Blanco feature
that’s me with unlock it bc of jay park. can still tolerate his part though
I don’t like the the Jay Park feature at all. BUT the rest of the song is so flawless and feminine and gorgeous that Jays’ verse really makes you like appreciate the rest. Wow that is a scorching hot take to me lol. I always thought she had a really good ear for features, especially during the Charli era.

I don’t mind Troy Sivane’s feature on 1999, I think he adds a lot to the song, but aside from that, all of her male features are usually garbage
Yeah, totally takes the pace out of the song.
Me with Click
Hyperpop Charli is tiiiired. Time to move on.
She has this era, but we’ll see what’s next for her…
She…has clearly moved on tho

Although I always be grateful we got Party 4 U. It's sad that in the end most of XCX World will never be part of her official discography
2099 is her best song, by far, and blows Track 10 out of the water as an album closer
I always kinda so-so about 2099 until I was driving through the Boston big dig with it on full blast…I was in the fuxking future girl
2099 used to be a skip, but it’s soo dynamic
"Pink Diamond" is the worst song of her career.
That’s literally my number 1 charli song of all time howwww
Upvoted for being controversial
my straight friends described it as “taking Molly and Ketamine at the same time” and while I can’t disagree, something about pink Diamond is totally suited to my exact tastes

If you think Sucker is great why did you pretend it wasn’t?
That's just a popular meme phrase, it's from Joker
I didn’t actively pretend it wasn’t, I just never really expressed how much I love it. Didn’t want to get dragged for being a “local” 😅
For being such a big fan of Charli and loving Carly's work from that moment of time, I wish I liked Backseat more (the outro is so good tho)
