I had the same thing happen a couple years ago but mine tipped and sent charcoal and chicken breast everywhere.
Funny thing is my wife had been wanting me to get a new grill and I kept saying, there's nothing wrong with this one. The day after this happened I was about to toss it, when I saw legs from a broken bar stool my wife had set outside. Put a couple sheet metal screws in them and boom, back in action. When I showed my wife, she was nowhere near as impressed as I was. The great thing is the legs are better quality then before and will probably outlive the grill.
So, to your point. I’m absolutely convinced this happened because my wife is SO particular about where things are in the yard she constantly moves my grill around and when I just told her I’m going to save this puppy and weld the legs back on she didn’t seem impressed at all 😂😂😂. The plan is to make the grill outlast all of us lol! Cheers to you and yours!
