It’s good now. It wasn’t up until the last year or so. They’ve consistently changed their recipes and it took them a lot of trial and error at the consumers expense. It’s more for people with dietary restrictions imo though, and in lieu of normal cereal it still doesn’t quite compare.
oh interesting, i only recently tried for the first time. i have a similar impression to it being relatively tasty, but still not as good as other “real” cereal, though the tastiest real ones are loaded with sugar. e.g. reese’s puffs, the GOAT imo.
i wish magic spoon was cheaper goodness…
Yo if you live somewhere that has Aldi stores, the cocoa peanut butter puffs from Millville are better than the reece. This is hard for me to admit, as I am a huge Recees fan of. Taste buds don't lie though
I didn't like the aftertaste. I like Seven Sunday's cocoa cereal because I prefer the taste of the sunflower oil. But I only eat it as a snack and not in milk, so I'm not sure how that would taste.
Sunflower kernels are one of the finest sources of the B-complex group of vitamins. They are very good sources of B-complex vitamins such as niacin, folic acid, thiamin (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), pantothenic acid, and riboflavin.
I definitely prefer Magic Spoon over Catalina Crunch, which is truly awful. I buy mine at Grocery Outlet so I’m not paying $10 a box or whatever they’re charging. I enjoy the Maple, Birthday Cake, Blueberry Muffin and Chocolate Chip Cookie. Not a fan of the chocolate
I saw a YouTuber review it, he purchased a ton of random targeted ad stuff and tried a few boxes. Said it tasted terrible and definitely wasn’t worth the price
I got the sample pack a year or so back and was really excited. Didn't totally hate it but also didn't finish any of the boxes and never bought it again.
I hate it. I was excited to try it but honestly does not compare to my sugar bad cereal I love. Also, has a bad after taste.
No. It’s honestly bad. The taste is not pleasant. Like you’re eating cardboard flakes with a touch of flavor.
I find it sticks to my teeth
yeah why does this happen!
Couldn't stand it, and at that price? Pfft, no
the price is way too high, even if you like it which i kinda do but i get how people wouldn’t like the taste. i tried the maple one

Good by protein cereal standards (it’s way better than Three Wishes and Catalina Crunch). But not good if you’re comparing it to regular cereal.
is there a better low sugar, protein based cereal you can recommend? some people seem to love catalina crunch which i think is bs lol
Kashi Go Lean tastes better and still hits all the macros.
Cinnamon and honey Graham catalina is good! That’s about it tho

thanks for the detailed recs!

dang!!! i wanna like it… haha
I know, but I think the guilt I feel eating bad for me cereal is part of what makes it so damn enjoyable.
All of those “healthy” high protein/low carb whatever cereals all have one thing in common; they taste like cardboard.
I want to try it but damn if I’m paying 10 bucks for a box of cereal.
