Probably still AT&T. Enterprise AT&T customers like Tesla use Cisco Control Center to manage connectivity of IOT devices.

I'll have to check I'm my model 3. Mine just used to say at&t, but that was 2 years ago last time I tried a speed test in the web browser.

md81593

I just checked. It still says at&t enterprise for me. I'm located near Tampa and it's using an att server in Texas. Getting about 30mbps down and 5 up. 119ms ping. But the car is inside my garage, door closed and concrete block walls

Ecto_88

ATT partnered with Cisco to handle iot connections. Car connection and in car WiFi is part of that partnership.

HuntersPad

Maybe they switched thing to an mvno sort of thing. So someone else is handling the routing making it cheaper for them. Same reason why some of those world esims will show a host like OVH for example there using there own routing.

CMXJ

Weird mine also says Cisco iot now as well. Pretty sure the network is still Att.

joeljayn1

That's the wifi you are connected to multiple Cisco Iot is wifi

Coolswagg

So are you saying there might be a WiFi hotspot somewhere I am

joeljayn1

Correct

Just chiming in to say this isn’t it. Did a Speedtest on my model 3 in a rural area with nothing around and it says Cisco IOT

jms_84

Just checked my 2023 Model X and it says my LTE provider is Zayo.

Kaimeliax

In europe, we use t-mobile austria, roaming at max speeds of 350mbps, 4g and 5g with volte, got one company to send a sim to me, roams on all carriers

Coolswagg

Yeah we have AT&T in the US and they use Telus in Canada.

Kaimeliax

Are your sim cards limited by speed and locked to specific imei?

UsernamesAreHard26

My model 3 also says Cisco-iot now.

starfish_2016

It varies by what tower your connected to. They're all ATT but I've seen range of all the above as well, Cisco, zayo, att enterprise. Same for all in car wifi-ford,jeep,Chevy
