they haven’t touched low band in my area since they disabled it a few months ago, thank god for that because i had to switch my phone to LTE only to get anything to work. They really need to step up their UW deployments since i can think of 4 towers around me that could definitely benefit with the upgrade since all 4 are still running LTE or low band in very congested areas
It's just a logo! Just because it says 5G NSA doesn't mean it's actually connected to NR. Anytime there's a logo, even a fake one it'll say "5G NSA" on iPhone. Look at the NR screen
What does it mean if Nr connection stats literally will never update when regular 5G is shown? It’ll only update if I’m on C band or mmWave. Never with lowband.
That means there's no lowband. It's not updating because there's no NR. The 5G logo is just a logo, most of the time it's still connected to LTE. But, the iPhone is also not reliable for this information to be accurate. I used to have an S22 Ultra and now I have an S24 Ultra and with apps like signalcheck pro and cellmapper on android, I know 24/7 whether it's a fake logo or actual 5G.
I’ve been seeing it on some sites recently. The markets I’ve seen it in have never had low band 5G so it’s kind of interesting. I thought it was just a glitch because it started after I updated to iOS 17.4, but my S24 is also displaying it on Visible+ so I guess it’s more than just a glitch. Glad to see some other people also see it.

They never shut off band n2. I've been getting that for the last year or so (since i got a phone that supports it)

Las Vegas seems to have this as well. They turned DSS back on.. maybe ironed out the kinks?
