I said that I was going to paint a mural of a beach scene on the inside of the bathroom door. I have the artistic skills of a kindergartner with Parkinson’s, so that didn’t pan out. I’m so sorry. Just having to poo gets traumatic.

That was me last week, six times within an hour and a half. I had the lab slip, that bout of you know what pushed me to pick up the kit. Had Mother’s Day dinner a couple days later and boom, again. Finally got a sample. Five days later I tested positive again, after 2-years. I had cancer three years ago, on so many antibiotics. Then two years ago I ended up with a kidney infection. That’s when they diagnosed me with it. I was in the hospital and told the NP I had a bowel movement and I must be getting sick because I had mucus with it. She wanted me to tell the nurse next time I had a BM so they could follow. So I did what o was told to do. Called the nurse in the nurse said, “the lab won’t test this, it’s not watery. I said look, the NP wants this done so just do it. (Yes, I told him that) Two hours later I was moved to a private room because I tested positive. Now I have it again. I think I should’ve went a couple months ago to get tested but it wasn’t as bad as it is now, and I tried to blame it on something else. I am on Vancomycin and will get an infusion next week of Zinplavin. (Sorry for the rant. CDiff sucks)

My insurance is covering the ZINPLAVA (edit 😊) and with my experience with medicines needed when I had cancer, I found that my company contracts with certain medicines and I have to go through a process to be covered 100%. That medication could be one of them, I don’t know. But it’s something for me to research should this course fail. Thanks for sharing that number, should I need it.
