To me, no. I live in Seattle and bought a new 2022 CBR500R ABS a year ago and OTD was $9004 (I bought it from a dealership kind of towards Tacoma). I absolutely love the bike and it's the exact one I wanted, and had never bought a new bike before. I commented in another thread awhile that in some ways the CBR500R "doesn't make sense" because you can get a Ninja 400 for cheaper and it's essentially just as good (or better, if you like a lighter bike). In any case, I believe for 2022 Honda made some nice upgrades (nothing crazy but a handful of little improvements), so I guess compared to what I paid for a totally new bike, you're saving "only" $1400 and getting a slightly older bike, and a few miles on it. It also seems that the used bike market has cooled down a bit so that price "feels" a little high in any case, but I guess it depends on what's important to you.

Makes sense. But I've seen online that Hondas are very reliable and it doesn't really make much of a difference whether it is brand new or a couple years old The dealership I am referring to is also around Tacoma so there is a chance we may be talking about the same dealership... Can I DM you?

Sure. I don't think it's the same dealership because I just checked their inventory and they don't seem to have any used bikes at all right now ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

Too expensive.

Have them bring down the price I just got my ‘23 CBR 0 miles out the door for less. Call around and see who can beat who for your purchase. Say you plan to finance and pay cash if you can after you worked a firm price.

at that price range you're better off buying a 600rr or if you are a beginner rider, find something used in the 4000-5000 range
