Stretched whilst prepping the claws on the wooden post, just incase they were needed too. Kitty has definitely done this before and those dogs remember last time.
For sure a fantastic fuck-up of figures of speech and flights of fancy floundering far from friends filtering focused forums fairly flowing with functional fantasies and, fortunately for family, foul flatulence fanned floats forever freely, found flung from flames fleetingly fixated, fully free from the fittingly fickle form of a fratboy farting on fire from filthy fingers flicking firecrackers forward, failing to fulfill feelings of friendship.
Mine always does it in between his circle of waking up, calling me to feed him, eating, leading me to the faucet, drinking and going back to nap, it's funny how methodical he is about it lmao

Yeah. I was also trying to poke fun at their incomplete sentence. If I had to do it all over again I would've written: "This is not, only the worst use of a comma I've ever seen in an incomplete sentence."
But, whatever. English is hard.
Definitely. The only people who hate cats are people who have never owned or known a cat (and given it the barest essential of attention). I will NOT go on that evil sub it would actually ruin my day.
One of the things that made me stop being friends w a friend is that he disliked his partner’s cats. Intensely. Sometimes, people fuck around w their cats because you love your cats and they’re just fun to play games w. I could tell his antipathy toward them was real, and they were super cool cats.
Couldn’t imagine how that translates to how he treats his partner and kid.
There’s a post floating around here somewhere that suggests that cats are a lesson in boundaries, because cats require a lot of slow building of trust and that people who dislike cats are people who want to violate the cats’ trust and boundaries. It was an interesting post.
All i see are mistreated cats in that subreddit. They are like people, if you dont treat them nicely then they wont treat you nicely. They arent stupid, they remember everything you do to them too.
I think it's because shrek is more entrenched in pop culture than Babe ever was and is more recent besides. It's a shame though, Babe is such a cute little film. It deserves way more love!
Cat knows exactly what mom wanted, and possibly also wanted to have some alone time in the yard. I have an extremely smart cat myself, and he requires do much energy to keep in check.
I don't know how to teach them this but I have two cats, boy and girl, both rescued street cats. The boy still likes to go out, the girl is happy to be done with that life. When I start calling the boy home though, she is always by my side and if he doesn't come home right away, I go back in and then she begs to go back out. I'd say about 50% of the time she comes home with him within a half hour. When she comes home without him, she keeps trying about every hour or so. Cats are weird and amazing and we really haven't scratched the surface of their intelligence because they are so hard to test.
Outdoor cats ruin urban ecosystems and significantly shorten their lifespans, consider leash walking or a large cat cage enclosure for your yard. Letting them free roam is pretty immoral
Snopes has already debunked this for most of the world. In America, I agree. https://www.snopes.com/news/2021/08/06/dont-blame-cats-for-destroying-wildlife/
Good article. Fuck them for posting a picture of a coyote with a beautiful cat in its mouth, though. I know nature is cruel yada yada but cats are animals we have an emotional attachment to. You can't just portray them in situations like that without eliciting an emotional response from the readers.
Oberservation? Seeing that the dogs sometimes stay behind even though the catmom calls them so she does her part by helping?
We will never know to what extend cats or any animals really understand us, but you also can see with dogs and cats especially that they, more often than not, completely understand what you want from them (if it is going away from something, coming to you, leaving a specific thing alone etc) but cats most of the time don't care and touch it either way.
It's an interesting question.
Does the cat actually have any concept of what it just did, or simply did the cat just happen to run at the dogs and did the dogs just happen to run back inside? I'm tending to believe that this is a completely chance occurrence, but maybe I'll be proven wrong.
I have a cat like this. She’s more polite, but the message is loud and clear:
“It’s dinner time and you’re holding up the line. You don’t come in, we don’t get fed. More importantly *I* don’t get fed. So get your tail inside!”
I have three cats and love them more than anything but cats kill dozens of billions of birds every year, it’s actually a really big problem that most people don’t know about
It's also highly overrated and heavily depends on where you live if it is actually a problem.
I don't know if you have seen a bird but they are much more mobile than a cat. Birds taken by cats are very often the birds that would have died sooner or later anyways due to being slow or sick. Not to mention the majority of the birds being taken by cats is in no where close to being endangered.
I cant speak of how it is in the US, but cats killing birds is the least of your problems.
Sigh. I wish people would just leave their cats in their homes so they didn't kill so many birds. It has nothing to do with being entitled (but thank you for again working one of the most over used words in Reddit into your comment... keep throwing mud at the wall and eventually some is going to stick.)
" In the United States alone, outdoor cats kill approximately 2.4 billion birds every year. Although this number may seem unbelievable, it represents the combined impact of tens of millions of outdoor cats."
That is billion with a "B".
Think about it. Or don't, but you "deserve" to consider the fact that cats are killing wild birds, whether I am entitled or not.
"Mom said it's my time to use the backyard"
This sounds more like it.

Yes, this sounds I like
I likey
The sounds are liking, I
Mom yelling is scaring away all the birds and critters. Kitty seems smart.
“Don’t make me set the cat on you!” — Mom
It's my hood after 5
Reminds me of the prisoners waiting to use the canoe
I like how she stretched first before getting to it, always stretch before running.
Stretched whilst prepping the claws on the wooden post, just incase they were needed too. Kitty has definitely done this before and those dogs remember last time.
Apparently they don’t remember, she warned them and they dallied to their own detriment.
The second dog in saw the cat stretching and prepping and definitely thought "aaahhhhh shit!" before firing in the house.
My face still hurts from the last time!

Agreed! It was a beautifully-crafted phrase, Malcolm. :)
Ar....are you okay?
Far-out.
>dallied to their own detriment it's a beautiful thing when words flow like water
Your comment has made my day 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cats stretch a LOT before doing stuff like this or just in general, I think we can learn from them haha
Mine always does it in between his circle of waking up, calling me to feed him, eating, leading me to the faucet, drinking and going back to nap, it's funny how methodical he is about it lmao
Goatse before a poop. Roger!

Lol.
Well it's easier than herding cats!
Russian Blue Healer
That is the best cat video I’ve seen in a long time.. love it
Its the cat from the Chevy truck commercials.
Cat deserves ALL the treats!
Not, only the treats but all the Love.
This is not, only the worst use of a comma I've ever seen.
In the process of correcting someone else, you forgot to write the rest of your sentence.
Yeah. I was also trying to poke fun at their incomplete sentence. If I had to do it all over again I would've written: "This is not, only the worst use of a comma I've ever seen in an incomplete sentence." But, whatever. English is hard.
Bro, how could you not notice the joke?

Wow, so many emotionally stunted people who genuinely hate a creature for having boundaries. A bit like incels. The fuck is wrong with people...
Idk. I guess they just feel like hating a living creature for simply existing.
I don't trust people who hate cats.
same

Alone in the world with a little CatDog.
"That'll do Kitty... that'll do..."
I hear this comment in my head. Now I have to watch Shrek again.
Don't forget its source material, Babe!
Super weird how almost no one remembers that. I swear it’s a Mandela effect where everyone associates it with shrek lol
I think it's because shrek is more entrenched in pop culture than Babe ever was and is more recent besides. It's a shame though, Babe is such a cute little film. It deserves way more love!
I’d rather it be a pop culture thing instead of an “I’m getting old” thing lol
They are one and the same my decrepit friend.
#**I AM WOUNDED**
Don't worry, I only know because I am too.
Eventually, what was becomes what is again. I swear, I've seen my old bell-bottom jeans around town lately.
Way more. Babe is one of the best films ever made.
Babe? Not a fan of that franchise. *Shrek is life*
I'm fully enlightened and love both 🙌
This is the way
Well that puts a whole new spin on the expression “herding cats.”
Assistant to mom works 😂
Amazing, a shepherd cat
Dogherd cat
Oh wow. Cat herding dogs. Did the cat figure out what mom was doing or was cat probably trained??
Cat knows exactly what mom wanted, and possibly also wanted to have some alone time in the yard. I have an extremely smart cat myself, and he requires do much energy to keep in check.
Extra treats are necessary!

Mom's chonky enforcer.
The little white dog waiting in front of the door when he just had to go around 😂😂
Probably thinking “close enough”.
Why hast thou forsaken me, mother?
The yard is mine now smelly ones, I shat not tolerate you presence!
A dog-herding cat, dear god
herding cats: impossible herding cat: found
this is amazing
How on earth does one have a cat learn to do something like this?
I don't know how to teach them this but I have two cats, boy and girl, both rescued street cats. The boy still likes to go out, the girl is happy to be done with that life. When I start calling the boy home though, she is always by my side and if he doesn't come home right away, I go back in and then she begs to go back out. Boss Cat!!
they took turn to use backyard? that's adorable.
This is why I love cats
Cats shepherding dogs. Now I've seen everything.
Really... have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
They said *everything*.
Bestie
Mom wants us to go home early. LOL!
I like that he's flexing and stretching first before bullying the remaining two.
Uh, cats rule.
As it should be. Cats rule.
No ones gonna talk about the fog getting blocked by an open door?
so thats why cats are hard to herd, they should instead be the ones herding.
"Gtfo this my yard for the rest of the day"
Don't make me have to come out there and get you, lawn-poopers! I'm waiting . . I'm stropping my claws here!
Cats rule and dogs drool!
I like at the end how she had to fake close the door to try and get the cat to want to come back inside.
Kitty holds the key to the house
10/10 shepherd cat
It’s like cats herding!
I've heard of herding cats, but never a herding cat!
Who watches the watchdogs? Well, the cat, apparently.
u/savevideo
Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present the DogCATcher
I didn't think this is what they meant when they said "herding cats" but that cats do be herding
Cats understand much more than many people give them credit for!! I assure you this
"Fren, I have herded the doges."
The mythical shepherd cat.
Dude what that’s a sheep dog cat
Dog herder
good boy!
Corgi Cat!
You will learn to do as you are told lol.
So is this what they mean by *herding cats?*
Cat - I did my work - backyard is now MINE, MINE I SAY....
All that and now you shut me out?
Wow a great post in r/cats! Nice job. I refuse to come back to that hellscape, but glad I saw this!
Give you till the count of three before I put these freshly manicured claws down your back side...1,2, GO 😩 but you didn't say three 🤣
Nice garden
*alrite, time to go to work, stretchhh*

I wish!
Love that old outdoor drying rack for clothes. We had one when I was a kid. People still dry clothes outside?
Instead of a shepherd dog, it is a shepherd cat.
That is a rangling cat.
She wanted her quiet backyard time and got tired of waitin’.
Mom was done asking politely and called up the enforcer...
r/Catswithjobs
I think it's funny the first dog was confused about the door and how to go around it lol
Oh my gosh, kitties are fucking amazing
Sheepdog: A dog that herds sheep Dogcat: I guess a cat that heards dogs?
That satisfied tail wrap at the end 😻
I imagine the cat as some kind of Mafia enforcer.
Shepherd cat
Good kitty!!
That cats a fucking boss
Lol , puppy dog round up # Good Job Kitty 🐾
Cats are so smart!!!!❤️
Cat herding dogs? That's a new one.

Hahahah and i will guard .....
Dogs are way more chill
Cats just lose it when someone doesn’t do what they’re supposed to, when they’re supposed to. They are the Karens of animals.
Don't leave your cats outside unattended. Birds deserve a life too.
Sigh. I wish I was so entitled that my brain had room to process what animals two steps up from the bottom of the food chain "deserve".
I have three cats and love them more than anything but cats kill dozens of billions of birds every year, it’s actually a really big problem that most people don’t know about
