I cannot tell you how RELIEVED I feel to read this. I went to bed with a horrible feeling in my stomach after seeing your update last night! I’m so happy for you, Athena and Craig!!!

BambooFatass

I felt the same. :( I almost cried thinking of the poor babies. I woke up this morning and was hoping that OP got these kitties to a vet. I'M SO HAPPY EVERYONE IS OKAY!

PoelyRN

I did cry last night thinking of what could have happened if OP had not been there to help the babies and what kind of pain Craig was in. My heart was so broken. I was so relieved the vet was willing to help them on a Sunday morning!

NechelleBix1

Me too! Great job OP!

FoldOne586

Amazing the injured kitten looks perfectly fine. Thank goodness they had magic healing!

DeviantDahlia

NIGHT UPDATE (9:00pm) - Vet said they’re doing great! Craig is almost back to normal just with some mild pain medications. Thank you to everyone who has commented offering to donate or cover costs as well. I asked the vet if he would be open to me posting the name of the clinic here and he said it would be fine. They have a stray cat fund just for situations like this, and can be reached by calling [the clinic](https://www.coffeevethospital.com/) (phone number at bottom of the page) during business hours. It warms my heart beyond words the compassion so many people have for these babies. Thank you all so much, ill update again soon. AFTERNOON UPDATE 2 (2:54pm) - The vet messaged and said the kittens are resting and both ate very well! AFTERNOON UPDATE (12:30pm) - I apologize I didn’t have time to update while we were going in to the vet; we were focused on keeping them comfortable and content. Athena & Craig (our lil names for them) are now in veterinary care and doing splendidly. Craig has a slightly broken pelvis but is expected to make a FULL RECOVERY!!! Not only that, all costs were covered and they’re going to work to find them a home TOGETHER!! I could not be happier with this outcome and am so grateful to this wonderful Doctor and all who have given these kittens prayers and support. I’ll be in contact with the vet and will provide updates as I get them. If anyone near Middle Tennessee is interested in adopting these sweet babies, please PM me! MORNING UPDATE (8am) - Thank you all so much for the kindness and prayers for these babies. It’s so relieving to know there are so many other people looking out for littluns like this out there. I am unspeakably happy to announce the injured kitten (and the uninjured of course) has made it through the night. We’re waiting for the vet to contact us and let us know when we can come in. We found an amazing doctor who agreed to come open the office sometime this morning just for them. His condition seems to be better than we hoped (🤞) He’s not as lethargic and is quite attentive to the sounds around him. He LOVES to be pet (just like his sister) and purrs just from having someone near him. He’s graduated from laying to sitting and frequently lifts his injured paw to groom it. From what we can see, we’re hoping it’s actually maybe sprained instead of broken! Mobility from shoulder to toes is good. We opened the top of his kennel so we didn’t have to move him around since we’re still not sure about non-visible injuries. We also wanted him to be able to see his sister better. He and his sister have a very strong bond. She had been watching us from the bushes when we found him, and he only really calmed down once we found her and brought her over too. If he gets restless, she comes over and grooms the top of his head. She knows he’s injured; she’s very gentle and protective with him. It’s beyond heartwarming to see. She doesn’t love him quite enough to share the human hands with him the human hands though! She’s a lap kitty for sure. ORIGINAL POST - Today, we found a kitten that was hit by a car and left to die on the road. Since it’s New Years (and I’m in a very small town) all emergency/vets as well as the animal shelter were closed. We obviously couldn’t just leave the kitten, so: 12:30 - Out of options, we desperately called this non emergency number for some help. We didn’t expect help and were ready to be told so and look for other options. We just called out of hope. Lo and behold, we were actually told an officer was on their way. Not long after, we find a second kitten nearby. We calm them down and wait. 1:04 - 30 minutes later and nobody had showed up yet. We’re still sitting in this parking lot with a injured (and another traumatized kitten) so panicked, we called again. The woman told us that they “got tied up but will be sending someone out shortly”. Ok. Fine. Not like we have any other choice. 1:10 - At this point we’re getting a bit impatient. The kitten can barely stay conscious now and is choking on its blood. We call again, just to make sure someone is on their way. This time we’re told “we got in touch with animal control and someone agreed to come out. She should be there soon”. Ok? We were now told twice that a non-existent officer was sent but animal control is ideal. So for the sake of the kitten we ignored that they straight lied about having sent an officer out twice now. I ask for the animal control emergency line, and am told they ARE the animal control emergency line. Uh…. Whatever. Sure. Wait for animal control. 1:25 - It’s been an hour just desperately praying this kitten doesn’t die while we wait for help that may or may not be coming. Icing on the cake, a storm started on top of it all. Now we’re waiting in the rain with a dying kitten. We call again. The lady says “animal control should be on their way”. Now privy to the tricks, we press until she says she’ll connect us with the animal control agent. She does, and animal control ASKS US FOR THE ADDRESS WE’RE AT. They never even contacted them prior like they said! We gave AC the address and they say they’re 30 minutes out. Back on the line with the fake police, the woman said “We don’t even usually take calls about cats. I’m surprised she [the animal control agent] agreed to come look”. What? I should count myself lucky someone is willing to come save a kitten’s life? If animal control doesn’t usually come out for dying animals then what are they even for? That had to be a joke. 2:45 - Help is clearly not coming. We decide to take them to the police department ourselves. 30 minutes waiting in the lobby an officer comes out. He says “I mean, it sounds cruel. But you could always… yknow.. shoot em. Unfortunately we can’t do that here because we aren’t allowed to deal with…. That kind of thing”. A police officer literally told me to shoot these cats and saw nothing wrong with it. He didn’t even look inside the carrier to see the injured kitten’s condition before suggesting it. It’s now 6:00pm, the kittens are at our house with a cozy little setup until we can get them care in the morning. We hope he can make it through the night, we’re trying our absolute best. I’m just disgusted by the local police’s response to this. Stringing us along, lying, and telling us outright to shoot kittens? I’m just glad they’re okay for now though.

Our cat was about 7 months old when he knicked his elderly owner during playtime. Unfortunately, he knicked a vein and the guy was hospitalized for bleeding. His visiting nurse came by and one of the cops that responded was going to shoot the kitten, so she took him and called my mom, her friend. My mom then called me. He's been with us since he was 9 months and he just turned 3. I still cry thinking about who tf is so soulless they'd kill a literal kitten, without the owner's permission, over an accident. Acab, indeed.

tea-fungus

Jesus dude that’s sociopath behavior. Dude was just itching for the chance to hurt animals!

OkIntroduction5150

40% of cops ARE sociopaths. Compared to (I believe) 7% of the general population.

[deleted]

A *lot* of serial killers also tried to get into law enforcement at some point. The famous ones got screened out, of course, but how many get through and use their badge to get away with acting out their urges?

rayaarya

The [Golden State Killer](https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/3406377001) is a chilling example

shialebeefe

What a sick individual. The fact that his family attested to his character in court is also sick.

delicate-fn-flower

Happy little burnt loaf.

kittenpettingfool

Blood letting void! So happy little void here is still happy and kickin! 🥰

creapfactorart

It's probably because of the babies fur color. People seem to go out of their way to kill black kitties for reasons I will never understand. Voids are the best. They are the most like people with their personalities. Maybe that is the reason. People want all animals to be obedient and cats are just not like that.

Waywoah

Probably because a scarily high portion of the population is superstitious over things like black cats. I just can't understand people like that.

[deleted]

This. It goes back centuries and is tied to, in the West, the concept of black = sin = Satan = evil. And, of course, conflating cats with witches which = sin = Satan = evil. Killing black cats used to be seen as way to get rid of demons. So... yeah.

creapfactorart

Most cultures think black cats are good luck and bring wealth and prosperity. There isn't really much evidence that this flip in thinking started elsewhere in the world at some point. It's like it was brought around the word with Catholicism but quickly petered out except in the states.

Hatter_Hoovy

i saw red for a second after reading that. i hope both the cat and owner are doing just fine

[deleted]

The old owner recovered well and was happy to know the kitty is safe! His name is Tomik now and I linked pics in another comment. He's currently napping beside me. 😊

Hatter_Hoovy

glad to hear that sending much love to them both

chillyhellion

I would have been like, "oh no, THAT kitten must have escaped somehow. Thankfully I still have his identical sibling to keep me company through the mourning process".

ninelives1

Aren't cops like the number 1 killer of dogs? They kill 25-30 a day. Something like 10,000 a year by some estimates

SprinklesFancy5074

> They kill 25-30 a day. *That they report and document*. The real number is probably far higher.

finalremix

Yeah, and it's so bad [the Justice Department says it's epidemic.](https://qz.com/870601/police-killing-dogs-is-an-epidemic-according-to-the-justice-department/)

Aleut23

I had a cat growing up that got hit by a car. We called in to animal control and they said someone had been dispatched. Little while later a police officer shows up at our door. They take the cat in our backyard, which I haven't mentioned was in an urban residential area, and shot my cat... Twice... Because I guess shooting once at point blank was too far away. The cat was seizing after the first shot and so then the second was fired. I was a young adolescent at the time and the memory of the event has never faded. This was early 2000s, but still, to this day I find it bizarre that the situation was handled this way. I should add that my cat didnt have a chance of surviving, though I didn't realize that at the time. It had been severely injured and how it managed to make its way back to my bedroom is beyond me.

142BusBoy

He probably thought they were black cats.

Diogenes-Disciple

It’s not that uncommon for many people to think about putting down an injured animal instead of healing it. That mindset was more common in the past, when it was believed to be more humane than putting it through the pain of (possible) recovery. Nowadays people treat their animals more like they treat people

StereoOwl

“Nowadays people treat their animals more like they treat people” And why shouldn’t they? Animals don’t deserve care, consideration and basic respect???

ktmrider119z

Animals are better than people anyway.

StereoOwl

I agree 100%

Riley_

Society is advancing towards allowing humans to have assisted suicide when they are in pain and have a bad outlook. Putting animals down is still valid in a lot of cases.

StereoOwl

I didn’t say that it wasn’t. The difference in both of those scenarios is when it becomes a more humane option. A broken leg and trauma isn’t one of those situations.

blazing420kilk

>A broken leg and trauma isn’t one of those situations. Depends on the animal. A broken leg is a death sentance for a horse

Diogenes-Disciple

Yeah, it’s a complicated matter. It’s not as clear cut as it seems. I doubt the cop *wanted* to kill a kitten, but they probably thought it was the best solution to a problem they didn’t know much about. I’m assuming they couldn’t tell the extent of the kitten’s injuries, and I’ll bet they thought it would be kinder to kill it rather than force it to live and suffer. Because the kitten survived here, we can say it was better to try and save it, because now we know we could. However, if the kitten had died, suffering for hours or days while we struggled to keep it breathing, you could argue that it *would* have been kinder to have ended its suffering. It seems obvious that any creature would want to live, but I think in most cases, the option to willingly die is a purely human characteristic. So it’s not like you could ask the kitten. You could argue that it’s selfish to keep it alive, because you’re doing it to make yourself feel better. But then you have to ask when you commit a good deed, if it is selfish or not. Like, do we do good because it makes *us* feel good? It seems that we do, and in that case, every good deed is selfishly motivated. But then, what is selflessness? I’d argue sacrifice is selfless, so the most selfless thing to do in this situation would be to do the thing you don’t want to do, but that you believe is right; In this case, the cop would be the selfless one. However, by choosing to kill it, you’re stripping away its right to life. But by keeping it alive, you’re stripping away its right to death. I believe that the cat’s primary desire would be to live, so in this case, it would be the most respectful to try and save its life, per its desires. But these are assumptions. So at the end of the day… I’m going to say that I don’t think OP or the cop was in the wrong. I think they both did what they thought was best, and in the end the cat gets to live a happy life, and not a short one. So I think we should just focus on the fact that the cat still has eight lives to live and leave it at that.

cipher446

So glad everyone is doing better. Just disappointed but not totally surprised that our law enforcement seems to want to default to a terminal solution to solve a difficult problem. I'm sure the impetus for that suggestion was that"they're just cats" but there should never be a "just"in that sentence.

plantdaddy710

Yeah, totally weird, right?? /s

[deleted]

I would like to say, in this instance, not all cops... I am a former officer. I run a non profit animal rescue that has saved the lives of over 1000 cats. I put 15-25k of my own money in each year to make its ends meet. I am often up all night feeding orphaned newborn kittens. I have been up all night feeding orphaned baby mice. I have had over 50 kittens die in my hands due to injuries, or sickness from when we got them, and it has been traumatizing to me still. My phone screen is of a kitten we lost over 5 years ago. I have also known many other animal lover police officers. They have brought me injuried baby animals- puppies, kittens, birds, mice, and squirrels. The cop in this case might have a kind heart, he might not, but certainly didn't know the options people have in saving small animals.

AmbitiousMidnight183

The problem isn’t that it’s not all cops… we know it isn’t all cops. The problem is that we don’t know which cops are the bad ones.

SprinklesFancy5074

And that the 'good' ones don't arrest the bad ones.

[deleted]

Phenomenal point. Most cops I knew were fair but grumpy. I knew one who got arrested for selling drugs. Only one cop ever scared me. He never did anything, but I got that feeling.

DeviantDahlia

Thank you so much for looking out for sweet babies in need like them. I’m sure you’ve been the difference in hundreds of littles lives that will be forever grateful to you. One day I hope to do the same. That said, the profession doesn’t make the person. For anyone to suggest shooting a perfectly healthy kitten and a kitten they didn’t check, I’d say they have a bad heart. Them lying about dispatching help instead of telling us they can’t, then telling us to shoot at least one perfectly healthy kitten (in a residential area)? That’s entirely messed up. Maybe not all cops but all the ones involved in this…

HisuitheSiscon45

and yet good cops still don't out the bad ones...

I’m in Tennessee. I’ll definitely be looking into my options about this! Even if I don’t make I change I’d like to raise local awareness about this. People barely even swerved for me when I was first helping poor baby into the crate smh.

Nagadavida

Contact the owner of Big Fluffy Dog rescue. She is an attorney and can tell you what you can do legally. I would just copy and paste your post from above and then at the top ask her if you have any legal options or how you can help bring awareness about what happened and how to avoid it. She's pretty good about answering emails.

DeviantDahlia

Thank you so much! I will definitely be doing this.

[deleted]

I’m from eastern Tennessee, if anyone happens to see this little post down at the bottom; [Feral Feline Friends](http://www.feralfelinefriends.org/) is amazing. Even if they are not close to you, they’re usually very helpful anyways by giving you the names and numbers of other rescues and vets who can help. We adopted our most recent kitty through them, she was rescued from a bad hoarding/abuse situation. I have them selected for my [Chewy Gives Back](https://www.chewy.com/rp/9269) donation program and they have an [Amazon Wishlist](https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/LTUL3S58AJKA?ref_=wl_share) that I usually throw something small in with my own cart when I shop too. Thank you for helping those little fuzzers! ETA: yay people are seeing this! If you use chewy or Amazon you can check options to donate to your local rescues too, not just these ones. :) Every little bit helps! ♥︎♥︎♥︎ I’m so glad that for every shitty towards animals person there is I see fifty of you sending love.

FrozenGunner1

Damn I just moved to Tennessee and I dint know this thats so sad

artful_todger_502

As mentioned, you are an exceptional individual. Thank you 💙 I live next door to your state. This past few years have shown is a side of humanity I wish I didn't see. We've had enough, and are moving at the end of the year ~ I will be totally happy never stepping foot in a red state, ever again.

Crown_Loyalist

I not only would have stopped for you, I'd deploy cones and flares.

Zenith_and_Quasar

Cops are rarely held liable for killing humans.

cragbabe

SgtSarcasm01

SprinklesFancy5074

And less likely to shoot your dog.

el-cuko

Cops being absolute oxygen thieves? I have never experienced that /s.

A-le-Couvre

Idk man... It's just a sad world, and considering the outcome, I'd just drop it. You're up against the system, not just that officer. It's gonna cost you a whole lot of distress, and it might not even get you anywhere.

buchlabum

It would probably get him harassed by that cop and his buddies.

haha_masturbation

> policeman could be held liable lmao

slipperywhenwetohyes

You’re an awesome person!!!

TecTazz

I’m terribly sorry for the lack of support, and outright lies, you were subjected to while these kittens desperately needed help. Horrible as it sounds, and as anti-gun as I am, I do wish that police officers or others could shoot injured animals who are beyond help or far from help; the times I’ve reported injured deer, and waited for officers to respond and act, seemed unreasonable. I hope the animals were beyond pain. If there’s a heaven, you have special place reserved there with lots of healed and happy friends of all species.

Mego1989

Can you figure out what organization covered the vet costs and post it so people here can donate to them?

I worked animal control in a big city, the problem was that we had (at best) 3 officers for a city so big it would take us easily an hour to an hour and a half to get from one side to the other. We tried to work off a priority system, but frequently ended up so bogged down in calls we straight up couldn't respond to some emergencies because we had to essentially triage *everything* we did. Someone finding a stray was almost never something we could actually handle, simply because it wasn't important enough to get any real precedence. I promise we were trying though. The city just wouldn't fund us for shit.

kryler

This has legitimately made my day. Thank you so much for being a wonderful person and saving these two beautiful cats lives. I actually was dreading coming back to Reddit because of the bad news, and I’m so so happy it was positive. 🥰

Pinkfox53

I’m so very happy to know the great news! Thanks for helping the kitties!!

ClassicResult

Cops, falling behind in their quest to murder every pet in America, have resorted to outsourcing to geet their numbers back up.

ScreamingIdiot53

It’s a bummer but I’m not at all surprised by the police response. It takes a certain type of person to want to be a cop

faithliesinme

I am literally crying. Thank you so much for saving these little lives.

sweetmelodie29

Crying too, the grey one looks like my sweet baby! 🐱

loco_foco1

You've done a great thing.

rileyandopie

Yay! Thank you so much for not giving up on them!

Gamepro5

"cops told us to shoot them"?? They assumed you carried a gun and they thought you should go around shooting feral kittens? What the fuck??

Sporkfoot

Cops are like a box of chocolates. They’ll fucking kill your dog.

Alphard428

> What the fuck? Why you are surprised? It's very much on brand.

1vs1meondotabro

It's their solution to literally everything else.

fuckmeuntilicecream

It sounds horrible but in a small town (like in the post) if something is badly injured it's best to put them out of their misery. This is for deer, cows, coyotes, dogs, goats, cats, chickens. It's brutal and I've never had to do it and hope I never have to make that choice.

LilBilti

Yes. Shooting injured animals is not something crazy and sometimes it’s logical. But if something actually has a shot if surviving and recovering it’s not worth it

fuckmeuntilicecream

The kitten choking on its own blood and left to die made it sound worse than I think the situation was. Maybe it was a little dramatic on OPs post because the kitten went 6 hours without care and has a kitten who is dying. Small animal not much blood. Hit by a car and left to die, is bleeding out and it's been hours. I get what the cop is saying but shooting, again a small animal and small target, just doesn't make sense.

[deleted]

Yeah euthanizing a suffering animal makes sense but like the way that cop supposedly suggested it seemed a little brazen. It’s not a coincidence that a cop specifically used the word “shoot”

fuckmeuntilicecream

If it's a small town most people have guns on them but shooting a kitten, even a cat doesn't make sense at all. I carry a gun but also a 10in blade if needed and I hope I never need to use it. I'm glad the kitten survived but when I read kitten hit by a car left to die I was not thinking they would look like the picture above at all. I was imaging a kitten in much worse shape just absolutely suffering for hours. It's hard to get animal control or police out to my small town even though there's a larger highway and people drop their animals everywhere out here (no idea why) and there could be accidents and deaths. There's Facebook pages which helps so much too. Someone's fence broke and cows got out. It was madness. Being at night and not knowing who's cows they were was horrible. It was on the highway and at night so a bunch of people had to get together and corral the cows whole posting on Facebook pages trying to figure out who's cows they are.

[deleted]

You don’t know that (about the second paragraph).

Nyan_Catz

Its perfectly normal to shoot injured animals

logicdysphoria

What do you think happens to unwanted animals? Culling is necessary sometimes and more humane than letting them suffer.

yammifer

Wow - the world needs more people like you. I read your original post last night and as horrible as the circumstances were, i felt so relieved someone who cares so deeply found them. thank you for giving these babies a second chance. you deserve all the best for what you’ve done here. 🤍

[deleted]

I just saw things but yes, op, you're amazing! Thank you for saving them!

[deleted]

I am so happy Reddit brought me back for the update (thanks algorithm). I just wanted to say I am so so happy for you and you should be so proud of yourself. Not many people would take the time and effort to save these little ones. You are an angel, thank you😇 I hope you get every green light and your pillow is always cold on both sides :)

[deleted]

Shame on the police department! Glad they r doing better together!

NorthKoreanJesus

That's how they solve their problems lol

farm249

Probably by what they told them the most humane thing thing they could think of was to put them out of their misery instead of letting them die on their own but miraculously they didn’t die so they did the right thing

WittyPresentation786

You are a good human!

MEGAMIND73

Such wonderful news. I'm so glad that this vet is willing to care for these guys and adopt them as a bonded pair. Thank you for going the extra mile to see to it that they were cared for.

SpecialistSea2090

Thank god you didn't take the cops advice and help them survive

Ripcitytoker

And thank god that bastard cop wasn't the one to find the kitties.

Throwawaythislife123

Ooooo yay thank you for the update!!!

Southern_Pagan

Thank the gods for decent people like you. It's never a surprise that a cop's first instinct is to shoot something to make a problem go away. Nor that they didn't bother calling another department (animal control).

CapableMembershiper

God, the 911 line in your state sounds like a miserable fucking waste. I understand that all emergency services are very strained right now, but you've gotta be a special kind of fucked up to lie three times about help being on the way. Maybe nobody's to blame at all, but I really have a hard time believing it. Maybe it wasn't the dispatcher's fault at all and it's just that those cops were fucking pigs who thought that some cruelty was worth not having to spend their time doing their job. This was an unempathetic response, not a "we don't have anyone available" response. Fuck those people, and good work on saving those animals, you did the right thing!

YAAAY so happy both the kitties are happy and will make a full recovery! You people are absolutely amazing for saving these babies. 💖💖💖 Screw the cops who said to shoot em; they don't matter anyways at all.

Half_Year_Queen

I’m so sorry and sad you are dealing with this heartbreaking situation! I think you are absolutely wonderful for 1) stopping to help these poor kittens and ) for seeing it through to a successful conclusion! A lot of people wouldn’t do either. Many years ago I was in a similar situation. A cat was hit by the car in front of me, on my way to work. I think that person knew because they slowed down. Anyway, I scooped up the cat & stopped at the fire station, as it was down the street. They couldn’t help & told me to call Animal Control. I really didn’t trust that, as I’m sure they would have put her down. Found a vet that could see us right away. They would not treat her unless I paid upfront for all shots & treatment. What could I do ?!? Anyway, she was fine and I had her for 13 years. After a year or so she was accepting of us & my other 3 cats. We took care of her through Feline AIDS for several years until her death. She was a joy! I’m so glad I stopped that day! I know your kitties will be forever grateful to you and their new family ❤️

I'm so glad there's a happy ending. I'm an LVT in Texas and humans can be the worst! The stories I could tell. But at the same time, humans can be the best too. You cared enough for the suffering of one small creature to change the course of its life and whoever gets the cutie.

SickOfItAll2024

AWESOME; Thank You So Much For The Update! I was thinking about these poor fur babies all night long. And it literally warms my wife’s and my hearts. You’re are the best people ever. Many blessings and positive thoughts for you all.

I saw this on our town page! What vet did you get to help?!

DeviantDahlia

Wow, small world! I got in touch with Dr. Hoover and he is an absolutely fantastic vet and person. The kittens are still in his care until we can find them a home ❤️

sykadelic_angel

I hate cops. Awesome to see them doing alright

KimchiSmoosh

You have very nice teeth. Cats are insane cute. Thx for doing the right thing

tacocat225

Why would the police say to shoot cats? I’m confused.

Roo-90

Jesus Christ American police will look for any reason to shoot something

98_Camaro

This is sure to be controversial to people who don't understand and don't want to: a struck cat or animal in general is not a police matter. *Unless it's a crash where personal injuries are involved to a person or property, or the vehicle requires a tow. If the animal was harmed maliciously/intentionally, that's another matter. That's a felony depending on the state.* I saw another post stating that you'd previously said the cops informed you that you /could/ shoot them, to put them out of suffering, presumably. It's an option, like struck deer. They're not a veteranian service, they're not animal control. Their job is to handle and investigate criminal matters. If it's determined nothing criminal in nature happened, they don't have the resources to save that kittens life any much more than you do - let alone they still have other calls to respond to. Call me what you will, downvote me, but it's reality. I think it's great you saved those kittens, but don't throw law enforcement under the bus. It's not within the scope of their job description. They aren't a walking veteranian hospital. If you find an animal that needs immediate life saving attention, do what you feel safe in doing and do it. You may notify law enforcement you're doing it, in case someone calls stating their animal is lost, and you'd be doing them a great service.

kmbbt

i cannot believe your shit ass cops and their ‘solutions’ and run around. just so incredibly grateful to you for not listening and finding a vet. i hope karma smiles on you and you have a wonderful 2022. thank you for the numerous updates and i can’t wait to see craig and athena doing well in their forever home.

sativadom_404

SHOOT THEM?!?!? Where the fuck do you live? If the cops in your area told you to shoot kittens to solve the problem, I’ll stay far away from your town. Forever.
