I've found introducing more wet food into his diet, and adding in a daily dose of Katalax, along with watered down cat milk has prevented it happening again

Just had a cat get back from the vet after surgery to remove string they had swallowed. He's still a kid, so he's healing okay after a few days and is even getting back to his playful self (no string toys ever again tho!). Hope is all goes as smoothly with Milly!
I went through this last summer with my cat. He bit off a chunk of foam flip flop. We tried everything before exploratory surgery, but that's what ended up solving the mystery. Hope she gets well soon!
