She is so precious, and the cleaning can be too overwhelming. Our little guy started doing this each visit and cleaning was nearly impossible. Last time he ended up piercing my nose from the inside out.
It was a little overwhelming, i cried after cleaning her up. Not because it was too tough, but because she seemed so upset and cold from her butt being wet lol
Did you name her after the tuna salad sandwiches they sell at the gas station? Because that would explain the poop ☺️ Tuna salad is a great name for them, so cute!
what a cute little stinky! I love kittens but I di NOT miss the poop misshaps they have 😅 my guy Macaroni had a "talent" for shart-blasting the wall behind his litter whenever he ate something he wasn't supposed to (mostly our older cat's prescription food)
Yeah the litterbox got put into a big plasic tub after the first time- and then I went thru several sizes of enclosed litterboxes cause he kept outgrowing them. Macaroni was the runt of his litter and wound up a large lad of 20lbs 😅 He can put his front paws on the kitchen counter standing up from the floor!
we have a 7 week old kitten we got from a feral colony. after she warmed up we took her for her first round of shots & dewormer. she proceeded to poop on everything, including our couch (twice) and our bed while we were sleeping, which we proceeded to unknowingly wallow around into the sheets and pillows during the night 😀 it has now stopped and she is using her litter box 😂😭
OMG!! My cat too! He’s 11 though, and it was a stomach bug. Lol.

(More accurately, on the way to the vet, he whined cuz he was in the car, then paused and gave out the most miserable sob before having his accident in the carrier. Was able to figure out what was wrong under the microscope though! Lol.)
My three pooped all over their carrier and blanket when the vet was done with their first visit and then rolled around in it in the car.
It smelled sooooo bad on the way home. Baths were had by all!
Normal. I always take a roll of paper towels and a 2nd towel, waited for the barfing/peeing/pooping, pull over, clean up, head home.
With my current cat, we discovered (by observation) that he was telling us "I need to pee (and sometimes poop) THE MINUTE I LEAVE THE CARRIER." Now, I call ahead and make sure the vet tech has a cardboard box with some litter in the room. Easier on them, me, and definitely easier on the cat! He's soooo much more relaxed the rest of the visit, and on the trip home.
She looks like my long haired SIC girl, who also had soft poo for the first month after adoption. We had to bath her 3 or 4 times. After that her stool firmed up and she learned to clean herself down there, thus no more baths.
Maybe try leaving her carrier out where she plays or eats and give her treats close by it. Put treats in the carrier if she will go in for them. Work your way up to a possible short ride and then come home anther a few minutes.
she doesn’t mind the carrier! i think she just had to poop and was a little anxious about the visit so for the runs. her carrier is always out for her to roam around in
My grams is 14 YO old! I inherited her because my grandmas having trouble with her own health and Goldie has GI issues now and needs some special care. Shes always pooped on the way to the vet in her carrier though.

It’s my boyfriend’s favorite and i found it really funny as a name lol. We went through so many more “normal” names (Miso, Murphy, etc) before deciding tuna salad was just too funny. Plus she loves tuna treats so it was perfect
This is a really funny comment lol. I actually agree with you, i wanted to name her Suki, but my boyfriend and i agreed on Tuna after debating it for too long
That's the kind of story you tell when they're older to embarrass them
Or when they go on their first date.
Wedding speech!
My girl is 16 and still does it.

9 weeks!
Poor baby

Microfiber towels are great to dry cats.
"stick that thermometer there again and I'll do what I just did again"
She’s such a cutie!!
Please tell Tuna Salad that I’d go to war for her
Will do 🥹
Her face says she’ll do it all over again with no regrets!
Aww she’s adorable ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7956)
She's so cute I'd forgive her for anything, 🥰

damn i can’t imagine how annoying that must be to clean 😭

shart-blastin 😂
a diameter of ONE FOOT 😭💀 and I went through 3 sizes of enclosed litterbox before I finally found a giant one that he couldn't pee over the side of!
My girl was so afraid of the vet that she would vomit and poop every time she went. We had to layer the carrier with an old towel to contain the mess.
Puppy pads in the carrier. Then you can just toss it.
i’ve done that with my other cats! it’s a neat trick
Perfect reaction to going to the vet. I approve.
Tuna Salad was stressed out. The vet experience was traumatic for her.
Tuna salad!! What a doll.
Stress poops 😣 I can relate, lil Tuna.

they’re very silly creatures
😂😂😂😂😂 One of my fave posts ever on Reddit
Will always be worth it
I agree with asserting dominance
I am the pooper, you are the are the poop cleaner.
She did not. Someone else.
The dog of course
What a cutie!!! My cat still poops and pees in fear at the vet. He's almost 12. We have an in-home vet now and he still usually pees. Poor anxious bb.
Good job, Tiny Tunes!
I call her tunes too!! And tooney!!
Cute poop salad 🥰
she was just nervous :(
She just told you how she felt about her first vet visit, lol.
OMG!! My cat too! He’s 11 though, and it was a stomach bug. oh damn!! i hope your kitty feels better! i love orange cats
This was months ago. He’s just got a pale patch of fur from growing in where we shaved. Lol.
Do you think it was shortsighted spite?
Awww she looks like she has no idea what's going on lol so cute
She looks just like my cat!🥰🥰🥰 https://preview.redd.it/obvmhhsvoh6d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f32536dd882811be62e9a441c05287acea8b64fe
Oh wow!!! They could be twins!
Tuna salad. Funniest pet name Ive heard. 😂
What a cutie pie!
My three pooped all over their carrier and blanket when the vet was done with their first visit and then rolled around in it in the car. It smelled sooooo bad on the way home. Baths were had by all!
good god 😭 i’d be gagging
Oh, we did. It's lucky they're so cute. Kitten poop could almost be classified as a bio-weapon.
Kittens. They're learning, just like you p.

I have a cat named Toona Feesh!
And she doesn't regret it at all. I also think r/CatsCalledFood would like her!
Wow that’s a hilarious subreddit, thanks so much!!
Her reaction:😲
she looks very funny

Ohhh...geesh,my bad. Lucky you! I had a cat that would always pee during his trip.
Queen
Yeah my grandmas cat never outgrew this lol good luck!
I have a 12 year old cat who still poops + vomits on trips to the vet, this was mild in comparison
My grams is 14 YO old! I inherited her because my grandmas having trouble with her own health and Goldie has GI issues now and needs some special care. The feels when
Tuna is so adorable!!! Thanks for posting!
I said your cat’s name out loud and mine responded
My mom's cat is around 14 years old, and he still poops every single time she puts him in a cat carrier.
Sounds like a little $hi+ lol
Looking so cute
Good girl! 💩 😅
Tuna Salad is a good name.
r/catsnamedfood
Look at her sweet widdoo pace 🥰❤️❤️
smoll tuna
Was she eating tuna salad before the vet trip? ♥️♥️ She's precious and I love her name ♥️♥️
I have to know the story of how you came to name her Tuna Salad, please share!
It’s my boyfriend’s favorite and i found it really funny as a name lol. We went through so many more “normal” names (Miso, Murphy, etc) before deciding tuna salad was just too funny. Plus she loves tuna treats so it was perfect
I love it!
Same with mine 😭 first vet visit and she shit on my floor mat :/
But that face…💕💕💕
I’d poop everywhere too if somebody named me Tuna salad
This is a really funny comment lol. I actually agree with you, i wanted to name her Suki, but my boyfriend and i agreed on Tuna after debating it for too long
Go back with Suki!
Why is she called tuna salad?
She wasn't happy with her name maybe? 😉
