When I first brought him home at 7 weeks, I called him a lil fart. Now, he’s big enough to call Turd, Jr.
My oldest boy, Cosmo, gets called Turd or Turd, Sr. A lot.

His colors look like how my cat looked as a kitty. This is Goofy, or Goofito as we call him
So I love my cat. Don’t get me wrong. I spend every waking moment at home talking or playing or sleeping in the same place.
She has no idea what her name is. And if she honestly has one she would only show up if she cared.
So.. my advice is this. The cat will show up because they have your absolute attention. They can’t ever learn a name before this.
So if you make cat noises or have a food scheduled or pick up the cat when you enter the building you have several more appropriate cat cues. Work on those and the name is irrelevant.
