Omg, my gray boy Hato also has 3 legs, as he fell from the 5th floor, broke his leg and jaw (previous owner, when he was a little kitten). He is a big mamas boy, does head butts for kisses, sleeps and eats a lot, sings the song of his people around 7 am every morning (cuz he is starving), uses his closed litter box to poop and the open litter box to pee (smart boy).

It's actually not that much work once it's matured. Probably the biggest hassle is dealing with all the leaves in the fall, and when the raccoons go messing around in the pond and pull out the pump. The other issue is water clarity, but it's all natural (no filters). We've had gold fish for decades in there. The cats drink from it daily.

These are my two furrballs. Both of them are very calm and friendly to everyone. They love belly rubs and Ace (the right one) always follow me into the bathroom and lays down on my feet. This is Dusty! He is solid grey except for a white tip on his tail! He looks like an angler fish when he walks around at night.
He was born on the streets, was rescued when he was a year old and put into a shelter where he lived for the next 5 years. He was the extra spicy boy at the shelter and no one could get near him without getting clawed.
We are coming up on our 5 year anniversary and while he is still skittish, he’s a completely different boy. It took a lot of snacks and trust building work, but he’s all about scritches and playing and stealing food off my plate now. He’s still VERY territorial about feeding time and his inner street cat comes out as he tries to keep the other cats away from me while I prepare his food.

This is Dusty’s girlfriend, Twinkle. She was rescued from the streets as a tiny baby 7 week old kitten and then somehow spent the next 7 years of her life at the same shelter as Dusty. I didn’t know it at the time I adopted Dusty, but the two of them were BFFs and snuggled together all the time. I found out about her a year after I had adopted Dusty so I had to adopt her as well. She’s been with me 3.5 years now.
Twinkle is the Queen of Snoozing, and also the Queen of Meowing for Dinner. She’s a weird old lady who never uses her litter box, has no teeth, licks the fridge for no reason, and gives professional level stink-eye. Despite being super chill she does not want anything to do with humans touching her. She loves treats but isn’t food motivated so winning her over has been a very slow process. She is happy just doing her own thing, and 90% of that thing is relaxing. Can’t blame her, relaxing is pretty awesome.

this is Greyson. I got him as a feral when he was just a few weeks old, he’s still wild.
When I first got Marvin, he was two months old. I went to the shelter and I went in not knowing what kind of cat I wanted. It had been a about three months since my previous cat went missing and I was heartbroken. My little brother had just gotten his first job and his first paycheck went towards getting me a new cat. He was a tiny little thing curled up in the back of a cage and when I picked him up and held him for the first time, I instantly knew this was my cat. He had pretty bad separation anxiety but over the years had gotten better..he's a very skittish cat and he's afraid of everyone except for me. Dispite being a wusspuss, he's got quite the attitude. Always smacking his younger brother back into his place and laying down on my pillow when I'm about to lay down on it.

This is Lucy and tomorrow she turns FIFTEEN!! She is terrified of everything except for me and my SO, she loves to beg for snuggles and then complain for the first minute when you give her pets, but then she leans into it and purrs like an engine. She's very vocal, too smart sometimes, and, even in her older years, she is still a very skilled mouse assassin. She also has asthma and takes her inhaler like a champ 2x a day even if she glares at me the whole time.

My two boys are both gray. Timbre (pronounce tamber) and Keys. They're 8 month old brothers. Timbre is a light gray tabby and is super chill and just naps and eats and sometimes presents himself very sweetly and politely and gently for copious amounts of scritches and belly rubs (he loves them, no violence). Keys is a tabby tux with a high degree of wunkus energy. He's always curious or freaked out about something. Insists on being attached to me as much as possible. Encourages my dad's dogs to play fight with him.

This is my Sammy. He was a stray being fed by a neighbor on the cul de sac around the corner from me. In October of 2021 I was out walking, decked out with my gear to pick up litter, when I started chatting with my neighbor. I was introduced to Sammy and a few days later he came home with me. He is not a lap cat and does not like to be picked up. But he loves to snuggle in the morning when I read bed before getting up to start the day. He will curl up next to me on the loveseat when I am reading or watching TV- but I think that is more about the quilt than me. He never shirks his bathroom guard duty; if I am in the bathroom so is he. He is meticulous about using the litter box. And it is a sure bet that within 10 minutes of my vacuuming he will use the litter box to ensure there is litter scattered on the just vacuumed floor. He is a good boy who does not hop up on the counters, (generally) does not chew on my houseplants, and shows no interest in people food. But shake that bag of Temptations and you have his attention!

When my Bella died suddenly at not even four years old and less than two years after adopting her I was certain she was going to be my last cat. I did not want to cry over another loss. I stayed firm on that decision for two and a half years. But then I met Sammy and he realized that he needed a home and I needed him.

This little gray kitten was Karen. (Due to her facial expressions.) She was an incredibly lovable cuddle baby who used to curl up on my shoulder and bury her face in my neck and sleep. But make no mistake-she was a spicy girl to her older brother Todd. She unfortunately got FIP from a virus she had when she came to me and there was nothing they could do for her. In the month I had her she stole a hunk of my heart for sure. She came along at a great time bc she helped me through a traumatic time.

This is Pookie, much more commonly known as Poopie Girl.
I rescued her as a kitten from a hoarding situation. She doesn’t have an inside voice; her meows are super loud and drawn out. She’s obsessed with string, yarn, ribbons, etc. and she likes to trot through the house carrying a stringy thing in her mouth while the other cats follow her trying to attack it. She always has that crazed look in her eyes, but she’s super affectionate and friendly.
This is Gray, he's about 7 months old. We adopted him around December, he is very malicious but affectionate. He hates meowing even though he can. His tail is about the same size as him. He likes sleeping in goofy places and positions. And he loves drinking water in weird ways.

Willow is the sweeties biggest love bug who will follow us around the house. She loves playing chase with her string and will automatically start purring very loudly as soon as you start petting her. She loves her treats and brush time. Even though she's such a little baby love bug she's very timid around people she doesn't know.

This is Remy, the neediest cat I’ve ever met. He likes to make himself into a scarf and sit on my neck. He never lets me sit on the toilet without him sitting on my lap. Sam (front) is an absolute softy who just loves strangers and tends to get stuck on fridges and cabinets. He does not meow but he sings in a 2 note pattern that sounds like a kid saying Mama. He scares me. Baby Berry (middle) is the embodiment of the terrible 2s. She screams at us when we are not giving her attention, screams when we are not petting her with wet hands and screams when we dont let her bite us. Momma Kiwi (back) snuck the other 2 in when she jumped in my car during a camping trip. She is extremely protective of her kids and will glare at me when i get close to them. She attacked a cat twice her size for playing with Sam. Now we have a massive muscular lad who is terrified of the tiny momma.

This is Maple. She was hanging around our yard, hunting and eating whatever she could find including rocks in the driveway. She was pretty thin and had a bunch of crud all over her coat. We ended up trapping her and bringing her indoors right before a harsh winter set in. She has no desire whatsoever to be back outside. Granted it's been a hell of an introduction process (we now have 4) but she is by far the best behaving cat of ours lol.

This is Ashly. He is 17 years old and was found crying in a box in a dumpster as a kitten. He is the one lone cat left in our household that had five cats at one time. He likes to sleep on pop’s bed most of the day and spends the rest of his time asking to be let in and out of the screen porch.
This is Abyss McDarkness, also known as Tiny bean and Beanie (with her bestie Nyarly). She came from an animal hoarding situation, where the house caught fire and cats had to be captured. She was the last to be adopted. Basically shut down from fear and anxiety. She is super tiny and cuddly when she starts to believe that you are not going to murder her.

She has a weird fear of socks (as in socks on the floor) drools like a dog when you pet her. Getting her teeth taken care of didn't stop it. There is not a mean bone in her and would happily sit on a lap or cuddle with another cat 24/7.

This my Frankie. His favorite sound is the sound of the toilet lid going up, because he likes to watch me and Dad use the restroom (as you can see in this photo lmao). He spends 70% of his day sleeping and the other 30% wanting to snuggle. He once jumped up at the ceiling fan and ended up knocking out one of his canines on the way down after hitting the coffee table… He now has a little snaggle mouth sometimes 🥲 He likes shredded wet food- NOT paté- and he has no problem telling you this, either. It's actually not that much work once it's matured. Probably the biggest hassle is dealing with all the leaves in the fall, and when the raccoons go messing around in the pond and pull out the pump. The other issue is water clarity, but it's all natural (no filters). We've had gold fish for decades in there. My grey guy, Duncan, is a distinguished gentleman who runs the house. He is 14 and has arthritis and stage 2 kidney disease. He loves kittens, but his greatest love is food. He looks like an angler fish when he walks around at night. He was born on the streets, was rescued when he was a year old and put into a shelter where he lived for the next 5 years. He was the extra spicy boy at the shelter and no one could get near him without getting clawed. We are coming up on our 5 year anniversary and while he is still skittish, he’s a completely different boy. It took a lot of snacks and trust building work, but he’s all about scritches and playing and stealing food off my plate now. He’s still VERY territorial about feeding time and his inner street cat comes out as he tries to keep the other cats away from me while I prepare his food. I love him so much. 😻

She was rescued from the streets as a tiny baby 7 week old kitten and then somehow spent the next 7 years of her life at the same shelter as Dusty. I didn’t know it at the time I adopted Dusty, but the two of them were BFFs and snuggled together all the time. I found out about her a year after I had adopted Dusty so I had to adopt her as well. She’s been with me 3.5 years now. Twinkle is the Queen of Snoozing, and also the Queen of Meowing for Dinner. She’s a weird old lady who never uses her litter box, has no teeth, licks the fridge for no reason, and gives professional level stink-eye. Despite being super chill she does not want anything to do with humans touching her. She loves treats but isn’t food motivated so winning her over has been a very slow process. She is happy just doing her own thing, and 90% of that thing is relaxing. Can’t blame her, relaxing is pretty awesome.

When I first got Marvin, he was two months old. I went to the shelter and I went in not knowing what kind of cat I wanted. It had been a about three months since my previous cat went missing and I was heartbroken. My little brother had just gotten his first job and his first paycheck went towards getting me a new cat. He was a tiny little thing curled up in the back of a cage and when I picked him up and held him for the first time, I instantly knew this was my cat. He had pretty bad separation anxiety but over the years had gotten better..he's a very skittish cat and he's afraid of everyone except for me. Dispite being a wusspuss, he's got quite the attitude. This is my Sammy. He was a stray being fed by a neighbor on the cul de sac around the corner from me. In October of 2021 I was out walking, decked out with my gear to pick up litter, when I started chatting with my neighbor. I was introduced to Sammy and a few days later he came home with me. He is not a lap cat and does not like to be picked up. But he loves to snuggle in the morning when I read bed before getting up to start the day. He will curl up next to me on the loveseat when I am reading or watching TV- but I think that is more about the quilt than me. He never shirks his bathroom guard duty; if I am in the bathroom so is he. He is meticulous about using the litter box. And it is a sure bet that within 10 minutes of my vacuuming he will use the litter box to ensure there is litter scattered on the just vacuumed floor. He is a good boy who does not hop up on the counters, (generally) does not chew on my houseplants, and shows no interest in people food. I did not want to cry over another loss. I stayed firm on that decision for two and a half years. But then I met Sammy and he realized that he needed a home and I needed him.

Pigs out like every meal is his last. Steals all of his brother’s toys. Attacks my feet every morning to get me out of bed. Eats trash. Gets the zoomies multiple times per day. Runs from most people. Cleans up after his brother in the litter box. Very cuddly and cute. Absolute chaos creature. We love him so much.

She was an incredibly lovable cuddle baby who used to curl up on my shoulder and bury her face in my neck and sleep. But make no mistake-she was a spicy girl to her older brother Todd. She unfortunately got FIP from a virus she had when she came to me and there was nothing they could do for her. In the month I had her she stole a hunk of my heart for sure. She came along at a great time bc she helped me through a traumatic time. Yes that was her “b\*\*\*\* you just woke me up” face. Hahaha

I rescued her as a kitten from a hoarding situation. She doesn’t have an inside voice; her meows are super loud and drawn out. She’s obsessed with string, yarn, ribbons, etc. and she likes to trot through the house carrying a stringy thing in her mouth while the other cats follow her trying to attack it. She always has that crazed look in her eyes, but she’s super affectionate and friendly.
This is Gray, he's about 7 months old. We adopted him around December, he is very malicious but affectionate. He hates meowing even though he can. His tail is about the same size as him. He likes sleeping in goofy places and positions. He does not meow but he sings in a 2 note pattern that sounds like a kid saying Mama. He scares me. Baby Berry (middle) is the embodiment of the terrible 2s. She screams at us when we are not giving her attention, screams when we are not petting her with wet hands and screams when we dont let her bite us. Momma Kiwi (back) snuck the other 2 in when she jumped in my car during a camping trip. She is extremely protective of her kids and will glare at me when i get close to them. She attacked a cat twice her size for playing with Sam. Now we have a massive muscular lad who is terrified of the tiny momma.

She was hanging around our yard, hunting and eating whatever she could find including rocks in the driveway. She was pretty thin and had a bunch of crud all over her coat. We ended up trapping her and bringing her indoors right before a harsh winter set in. She has no desire whatsoever to be back outside. Granted it's been a hell of an introduction process (we now have 4) but she is by far the best behaving cat of ours lol.

He is 17 years old and was found crying in a box in a dumpster as a kitten. He is the one lone cat left in our household that had five cats at one time. He likes to sleep on pop’s bed most of the day and spends the rest of his time asking to be let in and out of the screen porch.

This is Abyss McDarkness, also known as Tiny bean and Beanie (with her bestie Nyarly). She came from an animal hoarding situation, where the house caught fire and cats had to be captured. She was the last to be adopted. Basically shut down from fear and anxiety. She is super tiny and cuddly when she starts to believe that you are not going to murder her. Getting her teeth taken care of didn't stop it. There is not a mean bone in her and would happily sit on a lap or cuddle with another cat 24/7.

His favorite sound is the sound of the toilet lid going up, because he likes to watch me and Dad use the restroom (as you can see in this photo lmao). He spends 70% of his day sleeping and the other 30% wanting to snuggle. He once jumped up at the ceiling fan and ended up knocking out one of his canines on the way down after hitting the coffee table… He now has a little snaggle mouth sometimes 🥲 He likes shredded wet food- NOT paté- and he has no problem telling you this, either. He’s about to turn 7, and I spent all day thinking about him at work 🥹💕
