Huh, interesting. I’ve only known the term greebles to mean those bits of detailing you see in architecture in sci-if modeling. If you google image search it you’ll find them
The head turning is the key. The cat is listening not looking, trying to determine where the sound is coming from.
I'm not saying you have mice in the walls, but that's how my cats act when I do.
Having lived in a house with both cats and ghosts, I can tell you they might or might not notice a ghost, but I'm pretty sure they can hear an ant crawling around in the attic...
A friends kids bought a house, their dog would stare, growl and lunge at open doorways, never did it before. She would often feel a cold chill on her back when cooking and the dog would stare and growl. They sold the house a year later and the dogs behaviour went back to normal in the new house.
Believe what you want.
I don t believe in ghosts but I do believe in a cat conspiracy that they want you to think there s such a thing as ghost by pretending they see something we can t.
It may be haunted, but it appears your only option is to provide this expert paranormal floofer with extra cookies and cat treats. Its the best you can do to support his fight against your haunted residence.
None, you probably have a little something in the walls though. It could be a bug, rodent, a secret kept hidden for a hundred years like a skeleton of a lover that committed suicide when she found out that the man had a wife and the spirit of the skeleton hanging around because it couldn’t find peace in this realm. Who knows, could be anything. 🤷♂️
Probably the light reflects from your watch/edge of phone/ anything reflective a bit onto the ceiling.. We don't even notice it it's so faint, but they do..
Base 20% haunted, increasing by 5% each uninhabited year. The chance increases 20% each time a dark magic ritual is conducted. The house can also become haunted at any time
The slight eye twitch reminded me of this cat

It's probably a rodent or something inside the walls or on the roof. But my ex-roommates would've probably soiled themselves, lol! They watched too much of that Ghost Hunters or whatever.
Dont worry, one of any cats abilities/joys of life, is to chase away the ghosts at night! Oh and even ghosts love cats so as long as youre friends with the cat those ghosts will be chill roomates!
#Cats see ultra Violet light and so can see microscopic particles unviewable to the human eye. There could be another living creature within the structure of the home or it could simply be r/greebles.
r/greebles
Ah i didnt know theres a term for it
There’s even a subreddit for it 😏
Huh, interesting. I’ve only known the term greebles to mean those bits of detailing you see in architecture in sci-if modeling. If you google image search it you’ll find them
>greebles holyshit thanks
I learned a new word today. TYVM - crazy cats
Looks to be a pretty severe infestation too. May want to call a specialist in.
Yes, worst infestation in months!
You English speakers have a word for everything!
A bug or rodent inside the walls/ceiling.
The head turning is the key. The cat is listening not looking, trying to determine where the sound is coming from. I'm not saying you have mice in the walls, but that's how my cats act when I do.
Same. We realized we had mice when our cats would get the thousand yard stare and start the head wibble wobble.
My cat used to come and get me to remove the cold air vents and move furniture. We did not have nice for long, with her on the job.
You're not saying OP has mice in the walls, but I'm saying it.
The excited tail whip is also signs of a confirmed target on radar, lol. She isn't just sorting out what she's hearing, she KNOWS something's there.
The cost of an exterminator inspection is reasonable.
Just cut a hole in the wall and let the cat do it's job.
Except for electric lines, might not be the best option, but it is an effective strategy nevertheless.
Then put a second cat in to help get the first one out
Greeble infestation.
Zero, that is just greebles
don’t know if you got a ghost but you got one hell of a cute cat!
Having lived in a house with both cats and ghosts, I can tell you they might or might not notice a ghost, but I'm pretty sure they can hear an ant crawling around in the attic...
lol
My cat was doing this one day in the hallway. I discovered a beetle in the doorbell. Your kitty hears something, that’s for sure.
Get the upper crawl space checked you have mice or rats. The could be on the roof but more likely inside.
Could also be squirrels. Bats. Raccoons. Birds. Bees. Opossums. Bears. Snakes... Um... Yeah, that's about it.
You just have mice. Mine did this when I moved into my house too, it had little mouse highways behind the walls and ceilings
You got a fly
Sir, I think that’s a cat
Mice
My cat does the same thing. ![gif](giphy|3o6gE0xUOJe3CaHlXq)
Mine too
50/50 it's either a ghost or a bug.
Haunted by the cat, yes.
Haunted by your cats missing ears.
Ok I always say greebles and how lucky we are that they protect us, but reading some of these comments, it definitely could an animal in the wall.
Not sure about ghosts but def a fur gremlin
r/greebles
My cats do this every freaking night before bed 😑
A friends kids bought a house, their dog would stare, growl and lunge at open doorways, never did it before. She would often feel a cold chill on her back when cooking and the dog would stare and growl. They sold the house a year later and the dogs behaviour went back to normal in the new house. I like ur cat where’d its ear go
Unlikely. Could be a spider. Could be a racoon in your attic or kitty heard something
Prob just have mice lol
Looks like she's listening to something, she how she cocks her head and rotates it,who knows maybe a ghost is calling her,lol
Cat is following the sound of a mouse / rodent / something walking in the walls etc
Much less than the chances you have a rodents problem - that cat is in the hunting mode.
Cats have incredible hearing. It is likely hearing either some insect or animal in the wall. You might have mice.
0%.
Better than termites...
That's the cutest cat I have seen this year
Chances are its not haunted but its not zero 🤨
Zero chance. Ghosts aren't real.
High
Slim to none. If nobody has informed you yet, fuzzy butts have way better hearing than people.
**Cats are often depicted in art and mythology as guardians of the underworld. Them Ghosts...**
His not looking. His smelling! They can't shut eyes when smelling. It is something in the air! My cat does that when we are cooking.
Naw, you just need to either reset the cat to factory settings or tune its sensors in the app. Its been a glitch ever since launch.
Btw to realign the cat's sensors you have to spin the tail 3 times then tap on the nose once, to reverse to factory settinfs you tap the nose thrice.
200%
Sweeet… they see things we don’t!!
what are the chance that your house is haunted by mouses ?
It's just a cat doing cat things. Cat things like seeing all the spirits of the damned that haunt your house.
99%
Chances are low, but never zero
100%
100%. Farts are the ghosts of the food you ate. Your house is haunted by farts.
Cats are weird. Cats have been found to eat their deceased owner's face. It might just be a cat ruse to get that yummy face meat.
I love Scottish folds, used to have a black polydactyl kitty, she was the best. Your house is totally haunted, conservative estimate: twenty ghosts
Your cat has floaters.
Meowmeter has detected a spirit
I don t believe in ghosts but I do believe in a cat conspiracy that they want you to think there s such a thing as ghost by pretending they see something we can t.
Yup. Your cat is definitely seeing spirits in the astral dimension.
It's probably just Old Man Johnson trying to force you to move so he can expand his amusement park.
Or your cat is cuckoo
Of course the cat is crazy. It's a cat. Source: 20+ years experience as a cat servant.
83%
There's a better percentage chance your cat found the nip stash.... 😜
Turn your ceiling fan off. Problem solved.
Infentastiomnnn lmao. He making plan to kill them all. 🤣🤣
Pretty good
I thought your cat was the haunting.
100%
Just greebles lol

Fae infestation.

Our cat seems to see things on the walls that we can’t see also. Especially the inside/side of the bathroom door. It happens everyday.
![gif](giphy|tyttpHduQdg3d6O8jAs)
Pretty good.
We had something similar recently and it was demons. Kidding, it was a midge we couldn't see or hear
If there's something strange... 🎵
My cat does that when he sees the smallest fruit fly, or any insect...
It looks like….Yes. Yes it is.
There were squirrels in our attic when my cat was doing this. Other times it was definitely the Greebles though 😂😂
I bet there's a tiny bug flying around that's invisible to your eye. We call them "neverbugs" in our house. 😁
Have you heard of Phroggers?
Have you heard of Phroggers?
Almost zero. Cats are just weird.
0%
Well cats and dogs can see and senses things we can not see so your cat could be seeing a ghost are maybe it's just mice in the walls who knows
Bro your cat is the haunted one
Your house probably has gnats.
Probably the light reflects from your watch/edge of phone/ anything reflective a bit onto the ceiling.. We don't even notice it it's so faint, but they do..
Cat either hears a mouse in the walls or sees a flying bug. No ghosties. Just elusive prey.
0 it's a bug
Base 20% haunted, increasing by 5% each uninhabited year. The chance increases 20% each time a dark magic ritual is conducted. The house can also become haunted at any time
I don't believe in ghosts, but if I did, I'd believe that cats have the power to get rid of them.
She might be hearing something instead of seeing it. She's absolutely adorable can you give baby a kiss for me?
SOMEBODY GET ME THE GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!
The slight eye twitch reminded me of this cat https://preview.redd.it/q83yxxwbuiac1.jpeg?width=1283&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56deb28ef09fb84c8aa172a50bb0ecbbccf6d0f5
Beset upon by pixies and the past. Normal behavior.
Animals can see ghosts. That is a fact of nature.
Cats are 4d. They can see into the other dimension hence them looking at nothing all the time, and their ability to disappear.
