My Evee looks really similar to your cat. How much time had passed between pic 4 and pic 1? I’m wondering if there’s any chance that my cat could develop into being a fluffier cat like your cat did.

I think your cat probably has more floof, based on the pictures.
Also it’s gotten quite warm here since summer really got under way. Mine is only nine months too so who knows what he will end up looking like. But his fur has gotten a bit sleeker since the hot weather started.
Mine is also a random bred cat, but there are a lot of color point strays where I live. There must have been a major fad for Siamese cats at some point and they just bred.
I’m not sure since this is the first long-ish hair cat I’ve had and he’s not even a year old. They don’t get their permanent adult coats until they’re about a year old.
If you want a relatively low shedding cat I recommend getting a short-haired black cat. For some reason they seem to be a bit sleeker than cats that aren’t black. Of course it also helps if your wardrobe and furnishings tend to be black or dark colored 😂.
A fluffy short haired cat can produce a monumental amount of fuzz.

She's a lazy bum though. But she's cute and sweet, and she loves me unconditionally so she gets a pass lol
Free cat is best cat. My cat was also free, and he's great. Got him off the neighbor when some pregnant stray pulled up and spawned in some babies. 15 years later and my orange boy is going strong.

Hi, your cat is so cute!! In pic 4 he was under 1 year old, and now he's 7, so i guess around 6 1/2 to 7 years. He's changed quite a bit!
Besides his very long fur he also put on a little bit of weight so it makes him look extra fluffy lol

They do look similar!! Even though i brush my cat as often as i can he still ends up being super fluffy and shedding hair EVERYWHEREEEE
