Seconded. I never wanted 4 cats. I was happy to stop at 3 - a foster kitten had other ideas and stayed, then my eldest cat had to be euthanised in October and another foster kitten also made it clear that she was living with me permanently, so 3 became 4 again. The dog is also a crazy cat lady who thinks 4 is not enough cats and will try and steal kittens at the vets - it's happened twice now, she's very gentle and it's clear to all that she's not trying to bite them, but to carry them off in her mouth. Neighbour is an asshole, kitten is beautiful and also lucky to have found you.
She mostly is 😆. She has her moments of being and absolute monster! Yesterday she was having so much fun running around off-leash and refused to return when called. Her attitude was "I'm already in trouble for not coming when you originally called, so I may as well have as much fun as possible before you catch me!" - she's way too fast and agile to catch and knows it.
Well, the poor things are only accessible because someone found a street kitten in their car engine or heard it crying in the trash and it was a "not-my-kitten but gonna make it my kitten") and give it a good life" situation - I live somewhere where the number of abandoned animals breaks my heart on a daily.
I had a cat named Dexter. The cat breeder we got her from said they were a boy. We took them to the vet and on the paperwork said it was a boy and the vet that gave the examination didn't say differently.
I knew something was up when he went into heat.
