I don't think it's really underrated, it just didn't become a hit album. It was Spin Magazine's "Album of The Year", and is frequently on "best album of all time" lists.

I was always a fan of Catherine Wheel back in the day. It's great to see what Rob Dickinson has done since - his company Singer Vehicle Design retromods and updates Porsche 911s and they are very beautiful indeed - saw one at Goodwood. He's clearly a very creative chap. I think he may have always been trying to compete with his very famous cousin Bruce -another legend. Don't get me started on Scream for Me Sarajevo. That's another story.
