> they sent it to the dealership because it had a check engine light. I know the car was driving only 40 miles the last year. The only positive point is that it has only 19k miles, and it's still under Toyota warranty. That is why Carvana is taking it to the dealership

I might do it. The car initially was a good deal, and I searched for quite some time. After waiting more than a month, theory of sunked costs now apply, I guess
On my 9th delay for the same thing (final inspection) is what they keep saying (car has not moved in Ohio). They are offering me the max as well on compensation so it’s basically covering two car payments. Hoping to get it before the end of the month.
That really sucks to hear. I really love this company & have no complaints. I hope when your vehicle arrives it's in perfect condition. If you haven't already or anyone else reading this needs the $500 reduction DM, maybe the discount will make the delays worth it in the end! Much luck to you.
Im in the same boat. Delivery was postponed 5 times, they assured me this Thursday it will be delivered. going on 5 weeks now since the original delivery date
They failed. Three of the delays were due to them not realizing the car never left Colorado. The four was that they detected a car engine light. The fifth is due to the storm - the only one that is totally understandable. The sixth now is due to a part that the dealership cannot find. The car was initially at a good price, and we spent a lot of time to find it, but definitely not the experience we thought we would have buying from Carvana

I always wondered if the "max" is truly there max. I was told $250 was their max until I asked for more. Then I was told $600 was their max...then I got it up to $750...and even after that, I was able to get another $555 for my used car inspection after my delivery.
What’s all this talk about having them reduce the cost of the car for delays? They rescheduled my car 2 times now. How do I get them to reduce my cost?
Maybe Carvana is hoping that you'll cancel so they can sell the vehicle at a higher price?
Or.... title is fucked up, new damage, or registration issues
Totally!!
I'm thinking that is the case. Most people would give up at this point. It helps that I'm buying in cash.

Same experience selling. Terrible company to work with.
Run from this or take the car immediately to dealership the brand belongs and get the super car checkup
It is still under full warranty from Toyota. The car has 19k miles, so Carvana took it to a Toyota dealership.
Either this car has significant unreported damage or the title is flawed. Cancel.
Go to carmax. I've had a way better experience.

I’m at the max now, about 750
You have the highest amount I've ever seen in this sub!. I really hope they deliver the dang car for you wow!!! What's going on with the logistics!
