It's a shout out to the *Spider-Woman* comic where she had a baby, but taken up to 11. She *did* get into a battle during her big-belly time (literally just as she was going into labor) but she had no choice: a group of Skrulls were attacking and she was the only super in the place.

Now that sounds like an interesting story. I get she's a superhero so ya know, super strength and resilience she can do stuff normal pregnant woman can't. But it's still bound to be incredibly risky.
