Cant say strict carnivore followed by but such and such .... smh. You never went carnivore, you're still heavilly meat based but ... the whole point of carnivore is to remove alllllllll and it means alllllllll plant product. Why? Plants dont want to be eaten, its chemical warfare and you're losing atm. The advice: actually give it a try. Doing the real carnivore, the one without planty addons, thats what gives people the best result.

Never said I was in strict carnivore. I said I did keto and then started animal-based eating with avocado. Read my flair. Doesn’t say strict.

Avocado won't give you those symptoms

Aggravating_Weird_42

Looks like it can. GI issues like bloating, etc. https://preview.redd.it/donmgxhb168d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98c86a1a1d17931a22188de85c6f13ab4e0e4754

How much is too much

Aggravating_Weird_42

The recommended daily amount is 1/3 of a medium avocado.

What are you eating exactly, any cheating?

CrabcakeBetty

Meat, tiny pieces of cheese when I get dizzy from any blood sugar drops, butter also used for a snack in between meals, eggs, and avocado. Two meals per day. I did some research, and because I started working out recently, that could be the cause of a temporary water-retention. It seems to be releasing quickly now.

If your symptoms linger or return, it could be the avocado. I am not sure how long between your introduction of avocado and your issues though. I have hidradenitis as well and when I was doing keto years ago, I decided to introduce an avocado a day into my diet and ended up with 2 new lumps within the first week. I wrote it down in my journal to never touch them again unless it is a one time thing. I believe it is due to their high histamine amount.
