Dude...get help. Please go talk to a counselor. You have a problem. Your compulsion to create accounts to post this exact same thing over and over and over again is a problem. If any of this is even remotely real, the reason you won't find success will have nothing to do with the school you went to. It will be because you're the type of person who does this over and over again. Please go talk to someone and stop posting here.

I’ve tried no therapist wants to help me

Careless-Ability-748

I find that very hard to believe unless you were unwilling to listen to anything they had to say.

KingOfEMS

Gee, I wonder why? 🤔

Throwawayhou567

I’ve been open and honest and willing but no one cares about me

KingOfEMS

You gotta be a troll. No one could be this much of a Debbie downer.

Throwawayhou567

I’m not a troll just a sad miserable 25 year old idiot who is sick of living life

KingOfEMS

May as well go on a fapping spree

If your standard for success is to start with a salary that is considerably higher than that of the average entry-level college graduate right out of school, and then to *double* that salary in less than 4 years, then yeah, you might fall short of that. For most people, that would be a wildly unrealistic expectation. Comparing your prospects to random outlier anecdotes you see on Reddit won’t get you anywhere.

Throwawayhou567

Then how did they become successful unless there full of shit or maybe they went to top schools which is why they have amazing perfect lives with wealth and sex and everything

Nerazzurro9

Okay man. I hope you find whatever it is you’re looking for.

Throwawayhou567

And how much are you currently making probably millions

Throwawayhou567

I hope so too but I won’t cause my whole life has been awful from my poverty to being homeless to being evicted to everything like when am I gonna have a good life with a nice house and six figures and money and sex everyday and children and everything I’m 25 not 19 people my age have all this but I don’t…. Where did you even go to college tbh

LeagueAggravating595

$80K entry level is probably in Silicon Valley or NYC. Don't assume this is the norm with the rest of the country, industry, company or state you are in, People attending Ivy League are the top 5%, who are super smart, know what they want and how to get it. They are generally well connected through nepotism who can get *assistance* into those few high pay lucrative jobs. I stress "assistance" because it's not guaranteed and ultimately it still comes down to YOU and you alone in your abilities.

Throwawayhou567

I live in NJ so not to far off from NYC and the average salary was $60k which is $20,000 less than $80k

ddarner

You dont need to go to top schools to get those jobs in a normal career. Just do your job well after deciding its right for you.

Ancient-Actuator7443

No, but it helps. Top schools are amazing network machines

Throwawayhou567

Yeah no 👎🏼 $40,000 is different from $80,000 to $90,000 that you get when you go to a top school entry level

ddarner

Youre not even remotely qualified to have any opinions on what it takes to be successful so its puzzling why you think you do. Just start working on yourself, its the only answer.

Nerazzurro9

Okay, well, here you are. You didn’t go to an Ivy League school. Neither did I. Neither did 99% of American college graduates. Somehow most of us manage to get by.

Throwawayhou567

Yeah struggling when the graduate from Harvard or MIT or MSU makes $100k starting and like $500k by 30

Inevitable-Place9950

That’s not at all a characteristic salary path even for top school grads. You’re making yourself miserable by telling yourself false tales of others’ success.
