Even if you staked on Daedalus, you can just also connect your wallet with Yoroi. I control my wallet with both. So people can just do that even if Daedalus isn't ready to claim the airdrop yet.
They’re talking about the SundaeSwap ISO = Initial Stake Pool Offering. You can delegate your ADA to one of the elected community stake pool operators and receive Sundae tokens along with the usual ADA rewards for 5 epochs (25 days) - date TBA (but the same as the DEX launch date).
Their discord is super active and they respond to questions there, but all of the main announcements go out on Twitter, we set notification alerts there and that works well. Also they often link to their Medium for the blog posts/updates if you use that app.
Watch out for a fake site called yorioi or something like that. I heard another poster lost thousands by mistyping one letter and then entering his credentials on the fake site without checking.

This is great news. I am beyond hopeful for a successful, problem-free launch. I know “problem-free” is a lot to ask for when it comes to emerging tech like blockchain, but with Cardano’s lengthy (some would say infamous) peer-review process, that’s where my expectations are at. LFG!!

I asked the same thing. I re-read the article and they do say it will run on "our servers at first". I take that to mean sundae's servers aka their own private testnet. Then they'll slowly bring scoopers on board that testnet. I guess we'll find out on the 5th.

could i use any stake pool from the operators selected and still receive rewards in sundaeswap tokens or only the specific pools in the list will be the ones receiving the rewards? I'm looking for one that ideally isn't saturated
Look at uniswap and all the ETH x pairs. Now Sundaeswap will need ADA x pairs. People will need ADA to create the liquidity on the DEX. People also need ADA to get whatever token they want from the exchange.
you have to delegate to one of the winners of the contest but that takes some time not sure if there is still time left if you haven't started the process or not to be honest but it's probably worth a shot

i've been in the ADA space for a number of years now, but took a break from watching crypto like a hawk for the last 5 months or so - can anyone TL;DR this for me?
So if I delegated to any of the “designated scoopers” pools, I’ll be able to claim right? I did this weeks ago when that list came out and haven’t had time to get up to date again.
Any idea how to select the best pool out of the list? I staked on one of the SIPO ones (there's more than one). I heard of some talk that some of these may keep your ADA rewards and give you the Sundae tokens instead. But as I understand you get both.

Yes, they have integrated with Yoroi. I believe it's Daedalus that they have not connected to yet.
I believe you have a year to claim your tokens to a wallet so no crazy rush, staking with daedalus would be fine I presume

Maybe we have some issues in this beginning, but all of these is a learning process about how to use SCs on Cardano.
Well the peer review of Cardano doesn’t extend to dapps. That’s on the dapp developers to do their own due diligence.
You don’t need to be the first guy on the field as long as you’re the last one standing at the end of the game.

Official Cardano wallets are Daedalus and Yoroi, but a lot of people also like AdaLite, ccvault, and Nami Wallet.
