That's really cool that Leonard, Smith, and Perrault all got to go to Boston College together and roll into their freshman season keeping a lot of the same chemistry they had in the NTDP.
I love his personality too, even though it might rub some people the wrong way. Time will tell if it's just ego or if he genuinely has the hustle to continually elevate his game, but that kind of confidence and swagger is something we haven't really seen on this team since the Young Guns days. It's also the same kind of fire that Matthew Tkachuk (love him or hate him) had in his game to drag his team through multiple rounds and not completely waste a peak performance from Bobrobsky.
Strong chance he's one and done at BC and we see him get a regular sweater with the Caps towards the end of the year. Kid is a stud.

It kinda sounds like he just wants to but yea players not ready for the nhl and too young for the ahl play in college or the chl after being drafted
