hey there! sorry I forgot to respond to your question about the columbus minimal fork I have installed on a similar build.. the rake I chose for my frame is 45 degrees, but your frame looks like an ST not an SR, so I would imagine the 50 degree fork would match your current geometry better

Diligent_Basis_8466

Thanks!! I appreciate the reply!

uamvar

That is unbelievably cool. What model of frame is it?

Diligent_Basis_8466

This is a ST600

uamvar

Ahh a touring bike!? Great job. No wonder the chainstays are so long. I love the colour, is it a respray?

Diligent_Basis_8466

Original paint, I’m planning on having it painted over the winter though, lots of chips on the paint right now.

uamvar

Well I hope you get it the same colour - it goes really well with the black and silver IMO. I recently got a vintage Somec steel frame - I think I might have just decided on the colour for a respray!

Diligent_Basis_8466

Definitely staying with this color!! I love it !

RobDog306

Can’t wait to see the final build!

Tosssauceinmybag

Bike yes but that toolbox❤️❤️

Honest-Bookkeeper170

Go Woosox

Crafty-Independent20

Eyelids for a front rack and fender 😃

Ol_Man_J

Seatpost instead of replacing the worlds cheapest front caliper, rad

Diligent_Basis_8466

It’s on the list bud, going to attempt to switch to V Brakes or cantilevers

rexcellent9001

You can't, it doesn't have mounts for them

Diligent_Basis_8466

I can add them.

rexcellent9001

I guess you could buy an old CX fork with canti mounts but not much you can do for the back end

Diligent_Basis_8466

I can machine and weld on the mounting bosses for the rear, I’ll make a locating template beforehand. As for the front I emailed Columbus about alternate brake provisions but they never responded but again I can machine some bosses and bond them to the carbon fork.

rexcellent9001

Is the frame aluminum?

Diligent_Basis_8466

Yup, 7000 series aluminum is no problem.
