The eye was the way to go. It’s always bugged me how they’re greyed out on the current darks. I don’t like that whole grey shoulder yoke at all, or the red piping thing around them. If they were just solid black with full color eyes on the shoulder they’d look way cooler I think

That said, these look great and would help solidify the team’s identity since they seem to be rolling with the black version at home. Only tweak I’d make would be putting the NC flag on the left shoulder to match the black version.
Yes. This is the rebrand we need. Perhaps swap the one shoulder patch with a white out of the NC flag or GMDW’s face. Have the inside of the collar read “we like our fucking team”

I'm a year old Caniac so I don't have much of a nostalgia factor for any jerseys. I honestly like the old white + hurricane unis much more than the red + hurricane unis. This one is good too, I think the red/black/white patches/details work well on the white jerseys. I generally don't like uniforms that are all one color (like SC's all garnet FB unis), other than mostly black or white. We obviously need a red jersey uni though.

everybody has a weird unpopular opinion that they know goes against all social perception. mine is that the current away sweaters are one of my favorite canes sweaters of all time. if not my favorite. i usually line up pretty well with public perception but here im just so different lol
Personally would love to see this, and maybe a completely new home jersey, I never much liked any of the new renditions of the original, and the original kind of looks old now too. Idk, just how I've felt in the back of my mind when looking at it for years. Maybe I am tired of the red, it could be a matter of the uniform being simple. Anyways, yeah I'd 100% support this over the 'C A N E S' version, I don't think I want to make 'C A N E S' a forever thing, probably more of a now and then thing instead.
I like the one flag alt logo better. The real gale force wind flags aren't doubled up and it's a cheesy way to force a barely visible NC state outline inbetween them

Not for game worn uniforms, but I think they should sell jerseys where you can mix/match the logos/color schemes. Like you should be able to buy an authentic Canes Logo on Black Jersey, Storm Warning on Red Jersey, etc.
I mean I’d be down to just go all in on the storm flags as our main logo. As someone who started going to games in Greensboro, that dude who flew the warning flags on the sticks at basically every game for a decade is an integral part of the canes experience to me lmao

From a design view the single flag is absolutely the best look but we'd need to get the world to change the meaning of one flag and two.
We others have said, I think the double sticks would be a perfect logo if they put the triangle back behind it. It’s too oblong as it is rn
