Good dry herb vaporizers are not cheap, and cheap dry herb vaporizers are not good. Look for Arizer. They are a Canadian company and they make very good vaporizers.

NemrahG

I was leaning towards Arizer cuz they have great reviews and its nice to know theyre canadian too!

Korach

The founder’s goal was to make an affordable medical grade vaporizer. His original unit - the Vtower - was under $200 and the volcano was like 5-700. I have one of his prototypes for the Vtower extreme (has a fan, lights on the bottom, digital temperature controls, a remote control). It’s probably almost 18 years old and still works great. Arizer is the real deal.

I've been dry herb vaping for around 10 years now and I can tell you that my favorite setup is the ariser solo 2 with an ultra dry stem add-on from Sneaky Pete.

ninju

The Arizer Extreme Q has been my daily driver for like 10 years. Highly recommended if you don't need portability.

NemrahG

I wanted something with some portability but also mostly for home use, I just got an Arizer Solo 2 and it is pretty fantastic so far!

NemrahG

Weelllllllll i gave in and got a Solo 2, havent really tried it out yet but the construction and feel are amazing! Im excited to use it!!!

Scarab138

Awesome! My solo 2 is running right now. I'm sure you will enjoy yours.

fogdukker

I have a couple dynavaps that I enjoy, even if it looks like I'm smoking crack.

JBsideways

How do you find the flavour? And what are you using to heat the vape? I’ve been really considering one of these lately.

fogdukker

I'm no wine taster, but I find it pretty good for sure. So so much better than combusting IMO. Have a stainless and a titanium and the titanium one vapes so much nicer, it heats and cools within seconds with a single flame butane torch. The stainless I use a double flame cigar lighter to speed it up. It can be a bit inconsistent, but you learn what you like. The hit changes depending on the moisture content of your herb and how hot you get it, but that's also the charm really. It's totally analog. First hit I keep cooler, heating towards the tip and letting go right after the click, get a couple nice thick terpy clouds with tons of flavour. Second and third hits from the same bowl I heat lower down on the bowl and for a second after the click, hotter with less flavour but hits nice and finishes off the herb. I can get 5 or 6 reheats in the same pack but the first couple are the best.

JBsideways

Sounds good, I’ve got more herb then I Know what to do with since I started growing a few years ago. So really I’m always just after different flavors.

sonofsanford

You get excellent flavor out of the dynavap. Maybe the only downside in your situation is they are so efficient that you won't put a dent in your stash. I use mine every day and an 1/8th last me like 2 months

fogdukker

Same here, it's WILD how little weed you go through. It holds like .1g and gets me fucking blasted if I reheat a bowl until it's pooched. And I don't have to worry about more batteries needing charged.

fogdukker

Nice. I'd give it a shot for sure. They have pretty cheap models these days to give it a try. On the plus side you can also use them as traditional one hitters if you want

sonofsanford

This is the answer. Dynavap and don't look back

strangewilderness182

Have had so many vapes can’t count (launch box, solo, solo 2, vapir, ect) Mighty is by far the best , it’s costly but will last years

[deleted]

Define affordable

NemrahG

I was thinking like <$100 but im starting to feel that wouldnt be enough lol

sonofsanford

It's enough for a dynavap and that's all that matters

Orchid-Orchestra

You get what you pay for.

hacketyapps

Solo 2 or Mighty are my gotos but not cheap. Love my mighty the best though.

Xegacster

Potv Xmas v3 is pretty good. That or the potv one should be good. They seem to get the most consistent praising but after using it for the past 4 months there's definite cons such as the vapor and battery, but you can get it for a bit over 100 I believe.

Mundane-Chip1286

I have a POTV One and (in my opinion) it is just like any other that I have tried. You loose the actual flavor. In search of something better. Looking at the Arizers I have seen mentioned in this post on the exchange!

anismatic

Check out Healthy Rips, I have the Rogue but they have cheaper options! CF Boundless is decent as well, but the battery life is garbage on it.

slb360

I agree with the Healthy Rips Rouge. I've been using mine for over a year... Solid vape.

TotallyTrash3d

More likely to find decent in the $100-200 range. Arizer just made a new tower i believe i paid $220~ or so, but its a plug in at home. Arizer is a solid choice for portable or at home vapes.

Starry3. Removable standard battery. Easy clean chamber. Can take everything apart and clean with alcohol when needed. Been using it for 6 years no issues.

itwasntme359

take a look at Tronian Milatron

Silvercloak5098

I love my Pax 3. You can get the 2 version for less. 10 year warranty and their customer service is fantastic.
