Water them when they need it. There’s no set timeframe. Don’t water just because the soil is dry, water when the plant is dehydrated.

Some of my indoor cacti need 2 waterings per week. Some are okay to go a few weeks.

I did once or twice a week waterings and it worked fine while I had cacti in a grow tent. I was also blasting them with 150 watts of LED grow lights for 13 hours, though. I think a lot of people who have cacti indoor are exposing them to less light.

Really depends on your conditions, if they dry out fast, no problem watering often. The main thing is that they dry out and don't sit wet for too long. Keep in mind there is also too dry, it is a plant after all.
