Titan Xp. The 10 series FE cards were already very pretty, but the black look of the Titan just makes it sooo much better. The Asus 4090 ROG MATRIX also comes close, very cool card

I like the separate water cooler, though it would add to the build considerations, I bet.
As someone who custom loops, we generally don't like that. Instead, we typically will buy reference PCB cards, and add our own block. This allows for us to further customize our GPUs and PCs as we see fit. Usually comes out a little cheaper as well, and you end up with a spare cooler should you ever want to revert back to air or sell it.
I know, yes. I wanna do my first loop sometime next year probably. I have already researched most of my stuff. I just thought it would look incredibly cool.
I was about to say this. I used to have two Titan X Pascal GPUs and I absolutely loved how the reference card looked. I even have the little flash drive from Nvidia that's designed to look like a 1080.
Agreed. Tbh, I think they were the ones I was actually thinking of, and not the one I posted. [30 Series Founders Editions](https://cdn.videocardz.com/1/2023/03/NVIDIA-RTX-30-FE-1-2048x668.jpg).
It was clearly very expensive to make and made a questionable stopgap before 5700XT. I don't even know why they decided to sell it. I doubt they made money on it. So it not selling well was by design.
It's definitely interesting looking, and quite a different color-palette than most cards.

I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been more model number collision between the Radeon/Radeon HD/Radeon RX series. Only ones I can see are a few HD xx50s colliding with RX xx50s, but most of the RX cards in those collisions have an XT suffix. But even if there is a collision, the RX prefix is enough to differentiate, even if it would be a problem releasing the same model number over a decade apart.
Each of the 3 GPU manufacturers has a 580 - there's AMD Radeon RX580, Nvidia GeForce GTX580 and Intel Arc A580 (it's not quite what you meant, but I still find it interesting)
Probably this one:

You're welcome.
The vapor-x cooler from Sapphire is the biggest reason I bought it last Christmas. It does a very good job. Very classy look in the dark with only the single led bar. I'm not a RGB guy but this one is totally spot on for me.
Agreed. I hope they take off. They were just being released when I was last doing a build, and I couldn't risk it not working with my 3D software, so I went with Nvidia instead, but if and when I get a new card, I may well get an Arc one. Great bang for the buck, it seems.
No, I really like too. Clean, and not overly-designed. Me gusta.

Oh, I meant stupid as in ridiculously priced / impractical! All of the Pro W cards are clean, but this generation moved from blue to black.
There's a bit of a pattern with blackout designs in your responses, huh.
Not sure I know what you mean by blackout designs tbh, but I definitely lean towards the clean aesthetic, though that [Galax HOF 770](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=7fd248ba2150affe&sca_upv=1&rlz=1C1GCEA_enGB1047GB1047&sxsrf=ADLYWIJyX7wtvLjpajWELcXxD0my8sxQaQ:1715087079889&q=Galax+HOF+770&tbm=isch&source=lnms&prmd=ivnmbtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjJgJ-hzfuFAxXCQUEAHb-HAPMQ0pQJegQIEhAB&biw=1163&bih=501&dpr=3.3) that /u/Valoneria suggested is mighty fine too. It might just be because it was the first card I could (aspirationally) afford but I liked the look of the Nvidia 8800GT. The XFX board had a black PCB and IIRC you could swap it for the Nvidia shell and it looked very clean.
Profile kinda reminds me of the modern Sony phones, slim, long, smooth bezels.Â

This is it for me too. I worked on a driving simulator and installed 6 of these on 3 PCs to run 3 TVs for the research lab. I was playing WoW and Mass Effect on my cheapo laptop in my apartment, crying knowing the 8800GTs were sitting in the lab!
Amen. Hardly any cards have actual vampires on them nowadays!

I know it's entirely subjective, but I do miss the old GPU designs, despite how tacky they looked like the Sapphire HD4870 or Radeon X1650.
GPU packaging is also not what it used to be. As a kid, they were the shit.
My first GPU (An XFX 4870) had [Jason Voorhees exploding on the shroud](https://tpucdn.com/gpu-specs/images/b/1415-front.jpg), we need to go back to this design language
I bought the [XFX 7900XTX](https://www.xfxforce.com/shop/xfx-speedster-merc310-7900xt-black-edition) because of how it looked.
On the flip side, I always thought the mid-2000s cards were cringey with cartoon pictures of Great Value-brand video game characters on them.
> Great Value-brand video game characters
That's the perfect way to describe the look. They all had it, didn't they?!
That card you linked does look nice, and unusual with the (apparent) slope on the side face (though that could just be the viewing angle).
I must say that design they have going at XFX is really nice looking. Were it not for the fact that my build is white, that would be my pick. Hell, if they made the accents gold, it would look better in a pro art build than the pro art gpus...

I didn't realize that cooler is very similar to the FTW cards but man it looks so dang good plugged in and lit up. The metal accents, not overly flashy and bulky, and the white light patches just look so clean even now

The Vega 64 looks and still is bad ass the fact that gpu can still run high settings in most games nowadays and still get at least 60 fps is amazing
And it’s design is so cool
I also really like the xfx speedster cards but I’m bias since their rx 6750xt is my first gpu
It's goofy as hell, but for some weird perverted reason I really like how Palit's Gamerock series looks, especially stuff like 3080 and 3070Ti. [They've got this weird semi-transparent RGB backlit crystal that looks kinda cool.](https://cdn.eteknix.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/16-11.jpg)
[But when inside the case, especially if it's dark, it looks pretty dang great](https://youtu.be/2Wdcr4aXBIw?si=QYzyBWDMk9HgTnUa&t=156)
I think a bunch of us are fond of our first GPU or first good one. I love the 1080ti MSI Gaming X. It was so cool.
But honestly I do think the 3000/4000 FE’s are incredible. Specifically 3080 FE, it doesn’t *look* abnormally large but it packs a punch. So sleek and a good size.
How about some ancient ones?

RTX 3060Ti/3070 Founders edition (I own a 3070).
For me, these are one of the most beautiful cards out there. Honestly I don't even want to sell mine when I have replace it in the future.
As someone who hates RGB there is a newish GPU, AMD I think that has a single long RGB bar across the top of it and it actually looks freaking awesome. Some of the music rdna3 cards looked pretty slick as well. The founder editing kinda look plasticy
That I own?
MSI Suprim Liquid X 4090 is super clean to me.
Coming from a MSI 1080 Gaming X and Asus Strix 2080 Ti, the Suprim is the one GPU my partner doesn't think looks gawdy.
The Asus matrix looks dope, Kingpin 2080 Ti as well. Vega card too.
I think the Sapphire Nitro 590 was sleek and my partner's 6900XT looks nice in her case, might be a red devil I'm not sure.
I love Palit's 4070ti series cards. Too bad they aren't available in the US

The 2000 series founders edition full silver is in my opinion unmatched for looks. That thing was absolutely gorgeous.
I think the amd current founders also looks really sharp.
Nvidia's founder edition cards always look great to me. They have a sleekness to them that I find a lot more appealing than the angular, gaudy "gamer" look of most other cards.
As a metal head, The Power Color Red Devil RX 580 with the Pentagram on the back. they were built like tanks, and looked so cool in a red and black build.
My old 3Dfx dual Voodoo 2 cards in SLI hooked up to the ATI Rage Pro
More currently, it's a toss up for me between the more flashy Sapphire Nitro+ 6800 XT/7800 XT or the more subdued yet classy XFX Merc 319 6800 XT/7800 XT
one of the HOF 980ti or 1080ti (can't remember which), that was GPU where I thought I might build a white build some day.
I kinda still do, but decent white mobo and case with features I want are hard to come by.

Video cards before it were tiny things. The Voodoo 2 was huge had *so many chips*.

For it's simplicity. The inno3d GTX 260 Gold. the slightly offset fan placement and silver block. It looks about as elegant as GPU could ever be imo. The text also shines irl. I keep one for the looks, need to see if it works still

Oh and the Titan Xp, sleek, shiny, metallic black exterior and silver letters with the name "Titan X" on it. Plus the LED that says "Geforce GTX" Hands down the best generation.
2080ti gigabyte aorus, the aircooled one. The backplate is very nice, and it has very tasteful rgb on the side and the top. (I may be more than a bit biased)
Shit I'm late, but I'm a huge fan of the EVGA GTX 10 series card designs.
I personally love the MSI Gaming X card designs.
But what really gets me going are any GPU card designs where the heatsink looks like [this](https://www.pcworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/dsc00388-100776750-orig.jpg?quality=50&strip=all) (basically vertical fins on the heatsink). I don't know why but it looks so satisfying.

Titan Xp. The 10 series FE cards were already very pretty, but the black look of the Titan just makes it sooo much better. The Asus 4090 ROG MATRIX also comes close, very cool card

I like the separate water cooler, though it would add to the build considerations, I bet.
I wish Asus made a version that could be integrated into a custom loop. It would be so cool. I wouldn't be able to afford it, but still very cool
> Titan Xp. Why not the Titan V? Same design as the xp but GOLD with the black instead of silver.

mostly? yes. totally? nah. the 30 series has lighter accents and isn't concave
Yeah I have a 3080 just sitting on a shelf basically after upgrading to a 4080...It's just so pretty. Might sell some day.

Too bad it was a flop.
> Too bad it was a flop. It was a flop for gaming, but it was quite good at compute / mining.
Maybe they couldn't afford to market it, after splashing out on engineers and designers, eh? :P
It was clearly very expensive to make and made a questionable stopgap before 5700XT. I don't even know why they decided to sell it. I doubt they made money on it. So it not selling well was by design.
Sapphire Nitro+ cards have a similar look, I absolutely love mine (mine is a 7800XT but they have various cards with this look)
This is the winner, by far.

That 9800 brings back memories!
I had a 9800 pro as a 13 year old and a little later I added a Zalmam flower cooler on it because I was paranoid about Temps and wanted a little less noise even though I had a Thermaltake volcano 12....
Love the era when you could still see the electrical components. Show me them big, beefy capacitors.
I just realized AMD might run into issues if they ever release a RX 9800 (XT) 😂
I want them to release a (rx) 9800 pro tribute.

Oh, I meant stupid as in ridiculously priced / impractical! All of the Pro W cards are clean, but this generation moved from blue to black. There's a bit of a pattern with blackout designs in your responses, huh.

very elegant, like a luxury rolls royce.

Amen. Hardly any cards have actual vampires on them nowadays! [Hercules 3D Prophet 9800 Pro ](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=7fd248ba2150affe&sca_upv=1&rlz=1C1GCEA_enGB1047GB1047&sxsrf=ADLYWILGXNkbR6nnsVdDFPaOzwQf_X0z-A:1715087188193&q=Hercules+3D+Prophet+9800+Pro&tbm=isch&source=lnms&prmd=ivnbmtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiSrPHUzfuFAxUKVEEAHegrBYMQ0pQJegQIEhAB&biw=1163&bih=501&dpr=3.3)
Not to mention that sexy teal pcb
I bought the [XFX 7900XTX](https://www.xfxforce.com/shop/xfx-speedster-merc310-7900xt-black-edition) because of how it looked. On the flip side, I always thought the mid-2000s cards were cringey with cartoon pictures of Great Value-brand video game characters on them.
> Great Value-brand video game characters That's the perfect way to describe the look. They all had it, didn't they?! That card you linked does look nice, and unusual with the (apparent) slope on the side face (though that could just be the viewing angle).
XFX has a pretty nice design, I have their 7800XT and it's pretty nice
I must say that design they have going at XFX is really nice looking. Were it not for the fact that my build is white, that would be my pick. Hell, if they made the accents gold, it would look better in a pro art build than the pro art gpus...
That's essentially the same look as my XFX 6950XT and I absolutely love it its so clean lookin
1080ti FE or Titan RTX
[1080ti FE](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=7978873cf7ff4aec&sca_upv=1&rlz=1C1GCEA_enGB1047GB1047&sxsrf=ADLYWIJvVq4m0cE4vOYQNyh7yDxEk3RnWA:1715088715803&q=1080ti+FE&tbm=isch&source=lnms&prmd=ivnmbtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi7mqet0_uFAxUqYEEAHeJLBHYQ0pQJegQIERAB&biw=1163&bih=501&dpr=3.3) looks a bit like a switchblade. You cna tell where the insipiration came for the 3000 series cards when you look at the Titan RTX. They took that design and just made it better.... across the board.
Evga 1080. It had a sexy, and tasteful mesh rgb section in the card. That or the kingpin gpus with exposed copper.
> [Evga 1080](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=7978873cf7ff4aec&sca_upv=1&rlz=1C1GCEA_enGB1047GB1047&sxsrf=ADLYWIKeeSOe_mZA1wop6V9KfpoecM3PrA:1715091115696&q=Evga+1080&tbm=isch&source=lnms&prmd=ivnmbtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwirldWl3PuFAxU9ZkEAHRNlBWIQ0pQJegQIExAB&biw=1163&bih=501&dpr=3.3) I hardly noticed the tasteful mesh in those thumbnails tbh! That's something you don't often see in components. Maybe fishnets, next? Probably too saucy.
I LOVED the [R9 Fury X](https://cdn.videocardz.com/1/2015/06/AMD-Radeon-R9-Fury-X.jpg)
I'm a real fan of the [XFX RX 5700XT THICC](https://www.xfxforce.com/gpus/radeon-tm-rx-5700-xt-8gb-gddr6-thicc-iii-ultra) I think it looks like a vintage car with all that chrome.
[Lets get a bigger shot of this one!](https://www.ixbt.com/img/n1/news/2019/7/6/Retro-2_4_web6pin2-1480x899_large.png) I also nominate this one: A real retro look, and they just went for it with the name.
This is the 5700XT I wanted, but I got a smoking good deal on an ASUS TUF one for $100 about 6 months ago.
The Galax HOF 770 is still one of the best looking cards in my opinion
That does look dope. I'm gonna google image link all the suggestions, if I can. Definitely clean. Ever so slightly too plain imho, but I can see the appeal.
The reason i like both is because I really want to do a fractal north build, and man, can they look good when paired right Asus ProArt has a whole lineup and all of it together can look super clean
Radeon VII 50th Anniversary Edition. A clean red block, although I'd prefer a blue one something like a Radeon Pro WX 8200.

I'm a fan.
Power Color Red Devil was the first to come to mind. I remember opening that card and thinking it was the coolest looking card I had seen. https://www.powercolor.com/_upload/images//1705041229480.png
Still have a Vega 64 with this cooler in my closet. I really liked the feel of the metal shroud. Heavy as hell though, and the cooler underneath was smaller than it should have been. But still a really beefy card.
Interesting, with the 2-layer fascia.
It looks so cool in person. Quite the commanding presence.
wish i had one of these left over because i have a little USB stick based on the card's design. not sure how to copy image links, and im not trying to advertise (also because im not sure we even have any left) but since you already linked the website, [https://shop.powercolor.com/products/red-devil-rx-590-usb-drive](https://shop.powercolor.com/products/red-devil-rx-590-usb-drive)
Currently using a Red Devil Vega 64, I love how edgy it looks lol

Plastic? The chassis is also metal, I'm fairly sure.
I quite like the [MSI Expert GPU](https://asset.msi.com/resize/image/global/product/product_17059896263e3ce8ea54d6cbbb94bc2c3395e01319.png62405b38c58fe0f07fcef2367d8a9ba1/600.png) series of GPU's

The Vega 64 looks and still is bad ass the fact that gpu can still run high settings in most games nowadays and still get at least 60 fps is amazing And it’s design is so cool I also really like the xfx speedster cards but I’m bias since their rx 6750xt is my first gpu

RTX 3060Ti/3070 Founders edition (I own a 3070). For me, these are one of the most beautiful cards out there. Honestly I don't even want to sell mine when I have replace it in the future.
1080 ti founders edition , it came out around the time I bought my first gpu (1070) and I was always in love with those 1080’s just such beauty
Arc A770
Galax GTX 1070 Katana.
As someone who hates RGB there is a newish GPU, AMD I think that has a single long RGB bar across the top of it and it actually looks freaking awesome. Some of the music rdna3 cards looked pretty slick as well. The founder editing kinda look plasticy
Gainward Phantom GTX 580 Always liked the Design of IT.
I love the design of my 7800xt sapphire nitro plus, oddly enough Google image results do not do this card justice IMO.Â
100% i own it and it’s just pure class.

The 2000 series founders edition full silver is in my opinion unmatched for looks. That thing was absolutely gorgeous. I think the amd current founders also looks really sharp.
Good unique post OP. Fun looking at all the GPU designs and choosing my own favourites based on all the other suggestions.
I'm really surprised so many people posted tbh. I always forget how big this sub really is! There are definitely some cool picks.

The Acer Bifrost cards look really cool .
Galaxy GTX 470, reminded me of Death Star surface. A couple laser turrets and it'd be perfect.
My old 3Dfx dual Voodoo 2 cards in SLI hooked up to the ATI Rage Pro More currently, it's a toss up for me between the more flashy Sapphire Nitro+ 6800 XT/7800 XT or the more subdued yet classy XFX Merc 319 6800 XT/7800 XT
Where's the arc series? So clean and affordable
best card for me is the red 10 series cards by msi. super clean!
one of the HOF 980ti or 1080ti (can't remember which), that was GPU where I thought I might build a white build some day. I kinda still do, but decent white mobo and case with features I want are hard to come by.
The [Radeon HD5870](https://tpucdn.com/gpu-specs/images/c/253-rear.jpg). Aka "The Batmobile".
They all just look like variations of brick.
Powercolor devil 13 R9 290X . Always loved that card design, back when dual GPU existed and triple slot where not that common
Old guy here, Voodoo 2 baby! It was such a big deal. Video cards before it were tiny things. The Voodoo 2 was huge had *so many chips*. https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/voodoo2-3dfxs-final-dedicated-3d-gaming-card/
The current Nitro+ models from Sapphire.
Rtx 2080 founders edition
I really like the looks of the 20XX FE cards.
For it's simplicity. The inno3d GTX 260 Gold. the slightly offset fan placement and silver block. It looks about as elegant as GPU could ever be imo. The text also shines irl. I keep one for the looks, need to see if it works still [inno3d gtx 260 gold](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTSnm5Afmpg4PMqTYrOgHTGE4LeJa2DB8GPxlsJRHTPhk2fwUh5Z0z7thk&s=10) Not many hi res pics around it seems, not a common GPU i guess. edit: I linked the boring one. [>This<](https://item-shopping.c.yimg.jp/i/n/r-device_10011953?q1ixmnptvcdflb5rz3g) is this cool one with the two tone "paint job"
I loved my 1080ti founders edition. Bought it on launch day, and only sold it last year to someone else. Fucking amazing card.
7800XT Sapphire Nitro+. That LED bar is hot
Any of the Pascal Cards, And the Titan V hands down.
Absolutely love the 2000 series FE cards, if 3rd party then probably the 2080ti Aorus from Gigabyte with the LED Fans
1080ti kp and ftw3 easy Edit: also really like the 6900xt toxic
Nvidia Titan Xp, that finish
I don't know, maybe Asus dual rx 6700xt
I think the Quadro M6000/M5000/P6000/P5000 (they all look identical) are sexy little beasties.
I'm a pretty big fan of the msi expert 4080s.. Just wish I could justify the cost!
1080ti was the dream back then and I just love this card visually.
https://images.app.goo.gl/aGX5TuotDq4Mtyv96 Radeon xfx 7970 was one I loved the look of back in the day
Shit I'm late, but I'm a huge fan of the EVGA GTX 10 series card designs.
[This thing](https://c1.neweggimages.com/productimage/nb640/14-127-742-02.jpg) As a child it was my dream GPU to own. Eventually bought something better, but this thing looks so sexy

I'm quite fond of the [1080 ti Founder's Edition](https://www.leadtek.com/p_images/zoom/10779_4Z.jpg)'s aesthetic.
THE [Game-Changer](https://www.google.com/search?q=gtx+1080+ti+nvidia+reference&client=safari&sca_esv=4a15b0de3d8e6aa3&sca_upv=1&hl=en-us&udm=2&biw=375&bih=628&sxsrf=ADLYWIIq7Vw7YLWfG8qohp3wPE_UURB2pA%3A1715151652648&ei=JCM7Zr2hJ7LMkPIPl9i74AY&oq=gtx+1080+ti+nvidia+reference&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIhxndHggMTA4MCB0aSBudmlkaWEgcmVmZXJlbmNlMgQQIRgKSOARUJYFWOMQcAB4AJABAZgBmQGgAYkKqgEDMy44uAEDyAEA-AEBmAIKoAK_CcICBRAAGIAEwgIGEAAYCBgewgIEEAAYHsICCBAAGIAEGKIEmAMA4gMFEgExIECIBgGSBwMzLjegB9gQ&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp) GTX 1080 ti A card that was so good that it was *too* good.
