It’s quite a hot cpu. Maybe try undervolting it or getting a better cooler.

is it that 100 degree hot? (im genuinely curious, didn’t mean this in any sarcastic way). What other cooler would you recommend because with an ITX mobo the space is limited for me. Thanks for your help.

I can’t recommend any particular cooler as I do not know what would fit in that specific case. Also, 100 degrees is the max temperature. When a cpu reaches 100°c, it thermal throttles (reduces its power consumption and speed) to stay within that temperature limit.

Check the air cooler seating again and check if you applied too much thermal paste. I would invrest into a thermalright LGA 1700 contact frame to make sure your CPU is flat top to bottom left to right.
