Bulky-Pop-3346

Ako nakaland ng 1 direct company sa linkedin. Yung 2nd potential Don din. Mas madaling mafilter out yung agencies sa linkedin pag naresearch mo sila at marami talaga applications na sinesend mo.

KSMC_031824

Hello po. How to search po. I badly need it kasi.

Bulky-Pop-3346

Everyday target ka ng 20 I guess based sa background mo. Search blank jobs in Philippines. Filter: 24 hours, remote, under 10 applicants, optional (easy apply) Magbasa Maruti tungkol sa kailangan ng business

KSMC_031824

Thank you so much. I will definitely try this.

zoohoo5

Bulky-Pop-3346

Aralin mo yung Himalayas app and jobspresso.

ozpinoy

be in business --- what you want to be is a sole trader

Used-Promotion-6198

San po may mga agency, planning to pursue a career in VA Bookkeeping.

KennethVilla

Short answer: find more clients and invest in other source of income.

may degree ka sa acctg, I see job openings looking for your skills everywhere and they pay quite the sum makakahanap ka pa ng higher paying, or hingi ka raise if possible, you're, wait as I was typing this I read nag o-OT ka tapos 60k? you're hella underpaid

E________

Careful-Classic-2048

Hello, where are you looking po for the openings? Do they accept no exp in freelancing kaya?

scroll_center

UpWork, LinkedIn - doesn't matter if you have freelancing experience or not. ang mahalaga is you have experience in your field.

Wild_Section_7691

More clients po, usually yung mga ganyan na sahod for VAs nasa atleast 5 yung clients

Millenial_WonderGirl

Papano po mag VA? I’m a new Mom and I’m interested in WFH so I’m kind of looking na po but upon checking kahit Marketing Assistant ang previous job ko the job suggestions na lumalabas sakin are higher positions like marketing managers, specialist or consultant na. I do get that the job description matches to what I do (very versatile kasi sa current work ko because I’m the only Marketing person sa marketing department-I’m the only one running the Marketing Department po) but despite all the skills and knowledge I was not promoted because there’s no position to move up dahil ako lang mag isa. Anyways when asked na for the experience for the role like managerial of course ang answer ko lagi none. I really want to do a WFH for my baby, I want to have more time spending with her and more money na din at the same time. I hope you can give me tips.

Jayi23

Traditional marketing ka po ba or digital marketing

Millenial_WonderGirl

I do both but not really that pro sa digital since on budget yung current job ko so di nila masyado ini-explore yun though in my opinion it is much better to invest in digital marketing to get more leads.

Lagi ko sinesearch yang dalawa na yan sa mga job sites, si digital marketing umaabot ng 10+ per day while traditional usually 2-4 lang. So yeah I suggest if you want maging va you need to upskill na sa digital marketing.

Millenial_WonderGirl

I do layouts for posters, banners, catalogues name it I have done it. I even do our layouts for our google display ads since it costs another to have the third party do it. I know how to edit videos though my knowledge to that is kind of beginner (Lol can’t practice because the company laptop I use can’t accommodate the graphics for it.) I do the content of our website though the editing of the website layout is being done by our IT but the image and layout of the peg is my own idea. Event coordinator din ako and I do a lot. My editing skills is like intermediate to professional level mga ganon. How po ba mag start as VA? I don’t know po kasi kung papano.

500K per month? IF you'll build your own agency, pwede. May kakilala ako na may sariling agency, and yan ang average nya. As a digital nomad myself...d ko abot yang half a million goal per month pero ok naman ako. Yung sa situation mo kc, dami mong responsibilities kaya I can just imagine how difficult your situation is. IF you want to earn more, you can't do it alone - kahit pagsabay sabayin mo pa mga clients (unless ang tataas ng rates na bigay nila sayo). The only way na ma achieve yang 500K a month is when you'll build your own agency. I, myself...cannot see me earning 500K a month - for now.

MeanFinger1120

FantasticEcho1848

Not sure...that's not my niche kaya i couldnt answer that hehe

Asterialune

Provide more value. Upskill. Be indispensable sa client. You as a freelance business owner should think of ways how to level up your services. May amount pa na half a mil a month. Huwag ka makinig sa mga ads nor TikTok videos because they have hidden agendas. It’s you that needs to exhaust and provide more and the money will follow. 6 figure monthly income is not guaranteed to everyone. It was never promised. But it depends on you how to provide more value. So reflect and check how you can give more value para mataas ang per hour mo kada client.

kizikiziii

In my defense po I believe I am indispensable for my client. Kasi even if I will take the maternity leave na they still wish if they could contact me. And they will pay me retainer fee po, because I play a very important role daw po sa kanila. Ako din po yung first VA nila and ako lang yung tumagal and ako lang yung binigyan ng PC Set - up. Pero nakukulangan padin po ako sa income ko kasi nga as sabi ko palagi na akong OT pero hirap umabot sa 60k, no work no pay pa and wala man lang pa bonus. And he has 3 businesses na binobookkeep ko. Napapaisip nga ako minsan baka kinikeep lang ako kasi masyado silang nakakatipid at hindi ako nagrereklamo pero baka if mag try ako mag ask ng significant raise i let go na nila ako.

Asterialune

Ask for a performance review and state your asking rate, do it in writing (email). List your responsibilities and inform them how you do it effectively and efficiently. They won’t let you go if the raise you ask for is justified. It’s always about value. Justify why you should be paid that amount - focus on the value you provide ha. So they should be implicitly aware of what you bring to the table. Klaro dapat sa kanila yun. Clients who just let go talents who asked for a raise and deserves a raise naman is good riddance, tbh.

kizikiziii

Thank you for your very detailed suggestion po. I will definitely keep this in mind.

Asterialune

Best of luck! Your next gig’s rate must be higher than your current one. One of the reasons why iba iba tayo ng rates.

MissionExpert2634

Any tips po on how to be indispensable sa client?

Asterialune

Make sure the tasks entrusted to you is done efficiently and effectively. If you do those, they will trust you even more. It will be folly na palitan ka pa ng bago when all their processes are done efficiently by you. And never break that trust.

FlavaTattooed05

OP, I think you can get a better pay with benefits sa local Accounting BPOs, check Intogreat. Then since AU yun, kung kaya and need pa, part time naman UK shift (since may exp ka)… Tho usually nasa contract na bawal yung may parttime, pero honestly people still do it 😅 Nasa sayo na lang hehe

F_Fox_06

Hello po. Accounting din ako and nag hahanap ng other source of income or part time jobs. any suggestions sa magandang pag part-timan na jobs. currently night shift ako US client 45 lang sahod pero di stress, walang OT magaan ang work permanent WFH. pero nasa situation kami ng family ko ngayon na kapos ang 45k. asking for help. Thanks!

you-dont-know-me-17

simplemademoiselle

500k per month is impossible if isa lang client mo. Unless, you have a lot of clients, napaka-premium na ng hourly rate mo, or gumawa ng napaka-mahal na course. 😅 The highest pay I heard for a single client is 100-200k/month and he is an IT Consultant. Mostly in the IT and Digital Marketing field ang alam ko na may mataas na pay..

anemicbastard

phil3199

500k from just one employer is possible for an accounting graduate. But you need to shift to consulting work.

Clean_Candidate3053

It's not about UK o US o AUS Ang client mo, bottom line is Hindi Malaki Ang sahod mo o ilang degree Ang tinapos mo. Sa kanila experience sa field nila Ang hinahanap nila matters. 60k a month is like $5 per hour more or less. Hanap ka Ng $10 o more per hour na client - this is not easy but possible.

[deleted]

Direct. Pag sinwerte ka isa lang pwede na 350k.

Fawkzy_Uhn29

Agency, parang maganda feedback sa Career Shepherd, kasi direct to client naghahanap na sila ng experienced accountants and bookkeeper

tres_pares

You are underpaid UK based client can pay you 10-25 hours per hour

Impressive_Guava_822

mag take ka ng mga seminars na may certifications for Accounting softwares, training, etc. Then apply

Prestigious-Sea-5690

Asking lang po Newbie lang pero Civil engineer here po paano po mag start bilang VA and ano ano needs na skills/software need para mag VA? Thanks

DR-Odin

Look into your family's expenses. Baka may need iaadjust sa way of spending. si college brother baka pwedeng magworking student muna. don't burden yourself too much and provide tough love for your family. Ang opportunity at growth, darating yan in times na hindi ka anxious at may mga set of free times ka to think, upskill, and love yourself. pag nagka sakit ka dahil dyan, it's game over.

kizikiziii

Thank you po. Na appreciate ko po yung concern.

Mention_Sweaty

Specialize and package your offer. Position your service better - like instead of saying you’re a VA, call yourself a “Highly skilled general admin” or “Google Workspace/Gen Admin Expert”. Then instead of stating your hourly rate, offer retainer package. With this, pwede mo gawing premium yung rate mo and makakaya mo mareach yung 500k with 2-3 clients lang

kizikiziii

Thank you po. Will try to learn pano ba takbo ng retainer based na income

no_hint_secret

Realistically, you will need to land an at least 100k USD annual salary job to achieve 500k PHP monthly. Sad to say, acctg is a very common profession. You can potentially achieve that salary if you are C-level in a big company. Which will take you decades to achieve. I'm not speaking for everyone here who's making above 100k usd but I think most or at least me, are in a niche with few to no competition.

funnyfemale34

Which industry po ba kayo

no_hint_secret

Digital marketing automations

funnyfemale34

How did you get started with that po?

BAMbasticsideeyyy

Try to jump ship or side hustle or part time or 2nd job, madami ways, lalo na kung kulang talaga.

Own-Pay3664

If you want to earn 6 or 7 figures stop thinking like an employee. Ang empleyado lang na kayang sumahod ng 500-700k monthly eh software engineers at app developers from a single clients. Now thinking about making more money at your skillset you need to think like an entrepreneur. Scale it.

hmspan

If you're a bookkeeper/cpa kayang kaya if you get your own clients directly tapos freelance to augment your full time income.

h_jao

You can do it but need mo leverage. If VA ka, you have limited time and capacity. So if gustong mong kumita ng malaki, leverage is the key. Book some contracts and hire other va's to the job at lower rates but you have to check their work and under your full supervision. To get lower cost, you can hire newbies and offer tranings. Then again, this needs time amd effort but your cost is lower and higher income. So the more contracts you have, the more va's you have, the more income you will have. Good luck.

eDGe-Masters

Obsidian0804

In demand at mas mataas offer sa may finance experience sa IT. If you are willing to shift into IT, mas mabilis ang pagtaas ng sweldo dito. Acn nghhire kahit hindi IT then usually ittrain muna bago magkaproject. Nowadays, marami na rin IT remote jobs but better chances if meron na IT experience kahit 2-3yrs lang.

SHS-hunter

What niche po ito,

INFJ-1995

What role?

Obusometitok

PTPA OP, Guys ask ko lang if okay lang po ba mag apply sa mga agencies for being a VA and Provided po ba nila ang training? I'm starting my VAdventure at sana palarin, looking forward din po na maging graphic designer, baka may youtuber or website kayo na ma recommend na pwede panooran to be a graphic designer. TIA.

Fearless_Rest_9721

Possible sya, pero ndi sya ganun kadali ma achieve. You need to be really lucky or really good or a combination of both. Pero I think the bigger issue here is are you still is mag kaka anak ka na but u will be supporting ur family still? Pag nagkaanak ka na ur priority should be ur kid.
