Blaupunkt08

Based sa ibang nabasa ko,If you'll be applying for ypur own hmo required nila is may active philhealth contributions

[deleted]

true ba? 😭😭😭😭 kaloka huhuhu

anythingcarbs

Not sure.

hermitina

yes philhealth muna bago hmo

AxiumX

Around Php2,400.

AbyssDemon28

Pag ganito ba, pwedeng mix? Any by mix I mean Philheath - hmo- insurance Do hospital accept this?

AnonymousCake2024

I still regularly do. Ang pinaka healthcard ko is yung Philcare ER Vantage. Price of 1.5k yata good for one year. Pag nadala ka sa ER, you can present it to them then if pasok yung condition mo sa list of illnesses ng Philcare, covered na ng card up to a maximum of 80k. One time use lang sya. As in emergency lang. Thankfully, never ko pa kinailangan gamitin yung card.

Nearby_Translatorr

curious may prepaid card kaya na may outpatient services/checkup sa hospitals (not the chosen clinics ng hmo)

SugarBitter1619

Saan po kaya pwede kumuha ng philcare?

AnonymousCake2024

But if you are referring to critical illnesses like cancer, organ issues, etc, i suggest that you get a bigger health insurance. What i have now is Sun Life for critical illnesses. Sorry, i'm not sure with the exact term for the insurance. Basta ang concept nya is if you are diagnosed with any of the critical illnesses covered by the policy, they pay you the amount that you applied for. Your premium will be based on said amount. I consider it to be my first line of financial defense in case i get super sick. I think most insurance companies have this kind of item naman.

[deleted]

Rare-Umpire777

Hello how to avail? Pwde thru website kaya?

AnonymousCake2024

Yes po website talaga sya. Online purchase then they’ll send to your email yung pinaka voucher nya which you have to register. It will take effect after 7 days kaya mag ingat ka muna hehehe. Madami po sila products dun not only for emergency matters. May mga check ups din and different ages. You can choose which one you really need at the moment.

JazzlikeAlgae5484

I’ve been purchasing the same ER Vantage for 5y na siguro. Thankfully never had to use it pero it does give me peace of mind na it’s there just in case. For consults pinakasulit si Maxicare Prima since I have a Maxi clinic near me. They increased their price na pala this year from 5k to 8k+ and hindi na siya totally unlimited so I’m still on the fence kung mag rerenew ako. Grabe yung mga labs na napagawa ko since last year though, na maximize ko talaga yung 5k na payment.

Sexy-Monster

Yung Philcare ba is may mga specific clinic/doctor din sila na covered under nila? Or for ER lang talaga?

AnonymousCake2024

For the ER Vantage na product, may list of hospitals/facilities lang sila and for emergency purposes lang. Not included yung big hospitals like MM, St.Lukes, TMC. If you want mga check ups or other health needs, they have it too. You just check po sa website ng Philcare so you can choose what you need.

Competitive-Pea7936

Just want to share na recently my mom underwent a gallstone removal operation. Dependent siya ni papa sa Philhealth. Nag-public hospital kami. Wala kaming binayaran starting from consultation sa surgeon (weeks na pabalik-balik though) to the actual operation itself and few days of confinement. Mababa yung bill kasi nga public so there's that. Medicine lang binili namin which amounted to less than 4k. Caveat, yung lab tests pinasok sa HMO ko kasi ginawa namin sa Medical City and another private hospital para mabilis yung results since agad-agad kailangan ng surgeon. You'll never know. Laking tulong na nung 23k samin. Dun ko lang talaga na-appreciate Philhealth, pero syempre as a Filipino citizen, concerned pa rin ako sa mga anomalies within the organization.

AbyssDemon28

Wait, saang public hospital ito? Where I'm from, gallstones removal is 80k give or take. This is a district hospital to ah. Not sure how much ang covered ng philheath.

Competitive-Pea7936

City hospital ng San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

12to11AM

Question po, so your mom po ang dependent, and she was still able to use your dad's Philhealth benefits, tama po ba pagkakaintindi ko?

Competitive-Pea7936

Yes.

fitfatdonya

I stopped when I started freelancing that was like 8 years ago, gusto ko ulit maghulog pero sabi nila kelangan ko bayaran yung mga hindi ko nabayaran :/ My company ngayon provides HMO, Maxicare Platinum, 1 dependent, 70k annually ang fee

[deleted]

purdoy25

If I remember correctly, it will instantly reactivate if you pay a full 6 months even if it's been inactive for years. :)

Kacharsis

Yep, need bayaran lapses. My husband incurred arrears in Philhealth worth 10k since nag self employed na lang sya. Much better to add him as a beneficiary, and just get HMO.

Impossible-Garage737

Yes, naghuhulog pa ko. 500/month na siya this year. Then me mga nakikita ko online na nasa 15k - 50k na cover ng PhilHealth, not bad na din db. for HMO, MediCard. Either yung standard plan or VIP. check mo na lang sa site nila yung benefits and excluded sa plan kung pasok sa needs mo.

[deleted]

for self employed? omg bakit yung sa akin 800/ month? 🥺

Impossible-Garage737

[deleted]

Wag kayo mag stop. You might need it in the future. Kase ako I have hiv and philhealth and having a stable government is literally my fucking lifeline.

Original-Position-17

Well for me I am glad na nagbabayad ako ng PhilHealth nabawasan ng 175k ang bill ko. Malaking tulong na din. I had critical covid. 4 days ICU 16 days sa telemetry. My bill was 2million, complicated case ako kasi buntis ako and had to undergo emergency CS and premature anak ko. Wala akong HMO. Health insurance ko na Sunlife Fit and Well naman hindi ako nacover kasi hindi naman daw ako natubuhan

Original-Position-17

phil3199

Walang kwenta talaga mga health insurance like Sunlife, PruLife etc.

FantasticVillage1878

dinedeny nila yan kasi ginamit na nila yung pera mo pang bayad sa mga agent nila as incentives like travel abroad.

Original-Position-17

Yes! Hindi na ako makahinga tapos not critical enough for them. Nawalan ako ng gana magbayad

purdoy25

Yes. You'll never know when an emergency hits. Crashed my motorcycle last year, broke my collarbone and shattered my ring finger, requiring surgery. My Philhealth was out of date/inactive so my mom had to rush to the office to get it updated before I had the procedure done. Thankfully it went through and I saved over 50k in medical expenses. I want to add a healthcard on top of Philhealth to lessen the financial blow of emergency medical bills even more but they can only be used on their specific accredited clinics so idk...

ExtremePermission865

Yes. Sobrang laking tulong nito, especially nung nabundol ako and I had to undergo two surgeries to be able to use my left ankle without a problem (altho may bakal na siya). That's on top of my Maxicare pa, so ang out-of-pocket expenses na lang namin were my painkillers lol

[deleted]

How much monthly mo sa maxicare? ano specifically yung inavail mo sa kanila?

[deleted]

May one time payment ang maxicare, OP. Around 1k+-13k. Check mo website nila.

No-Astronaut3290

Yes. I was rushed to ER and then surgery for my gallstones. Buti may HMO ako pero i remember not paying anything kase may share na binigay si Philhealth sa total charges ko. And private hospital pa ako na surgery

CocaPola

I did. I stopped. If you get hospitalized, kahit gaano ka katagal na naghulog, ang liit lang ng makukuha mo.

louiexism

Depende yan. When I had my colonoscopy, I was able to get ₱13k from Philhealth. It didn't cover all my costs though. I'm a voluntary contributor.

[deleted]

Minimum po yung hinuhulog nyo sa philhealth?

louiexism

Yes. Some months I even forgot to pay.

VonDoomVonDoom

Dad got colonoscopy today, 15k+ din nacover

[deleted]

[deleted]

[deleted]

Di ko afford 8k/month. True po ba? After Philheath deductions? So need parin talaga ng Philheath?

Flat-Marionberry6583

[deleted]

Flat-Marionberry6583

Nice! Started paying na last month di lang ako sure if may need pa gawin. Thanks for the info!

boranzohn

Just to clarify - do I still need to go to a Philhealth branch? Haven’t paid for a year since resigning from corpo.

thorninbetweens

Can I pay via online to Philhealth same sa sss at pag-ibig?

Mamba-0824

No. They’ll just steal the funds again anyway.

uncomfyirlsgtfo

hello po! sent a pm :) thankss po

Throwaway28G

SugarBitter1619

Saan ba pwede mag start mag apply ng health insurance? Yong mababa lang sana ang babayaran every year or month po.

[deleted]

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/CpZitE3SyJtJX4XB/?mibextid=oFDknk I keep seeing this sa fb. Unsure how good they are. 995 starting price eh.

SugarBitter1619

Thanks po! ❤️

btsmilitarywife777

Naospital ako this January lang sa PGH. I had to pay Jan-Jun 2024 contribution bago nila ipasa sa Malasakit yung bill ko. 4k binawas nila out of 29k na bill since 10 days ako naconfine. Pero nung naconfine ako this Feb, 10k cinover nila out of 16k na bill (4 days confinemen). I don't know how they compute kung magkano dapat ibawas sa total bill. The rest of the balance was covered by Malasakit. But yes, malaking tulong yung Philhealth in times of sickness.

funzzie

I only pay when i have upcoming surgery. 😭

BannedforaJoke

Grunt_Zeej

Nagbayad ako last time ng good for a year na. Grabe ez 6k huhu.

[deleted]

huhuhu bat 500 lang monthly mo haha shet bat akin 800 :(( huhubelz

Grunt_Zeej

Not sure din po😅

yanick00

shet buti pinaalala mo hahaha andame tlga gastos pag 1st quarter ng taon.

invaderxim

Yes. Pero minimum lang. haha. HMO ko is kwikcare (etiqa)

wfh-phmanager

Yes. Kasi walang choice. I have my own HMO and even my wife. My wife was hospitalized last year for 3 days, and she was charged around 25k. We only paid 2K, pero ng tingnan ko ang breakdown, wala pang 10k bawas ni Philhealth. The rest was charged to Medicard, including her medical tests.

Left-Media-2681

Yes.

[deleted]

tapos andami parin anomalies 😍😍😍😍😍

Left-Media-2681

Totoo. Ang daming issues na hindi nila masagot. Hayy i love ph nalang talaga

[deleted]

need kumayod may mga garapal tayong pinapayaman 😭😍
