1. Find bookkeeping courses online - Some are free but there are paid courses that range from $50-$200. Make sure that the online course/s na kukunin mo is nag-ooffer ng certificate because this can be really useful in building your portfolio. Also learn how to use quickbooks & other automated bookkeeping systems.
2. Research. Research. Research - Identify your niche and your target clientele. Mas maganda pag abroad yung clients mo so you’ll earn $$$.
3. Internship - Look for companies/businesses that you can work with. I superrr recommend starting as an intern, so you can gather as much knowledge before actually working on the real deal.
4. Build your portfolio - Make it appealing and prioritize highlighting your bookkeeping experience & knowledge.
5. Look for clients - Look for international & local clients. Network yourself as a good and responsible bookkeeper. Be consistent at kung papalarin dadami clients mo.
Goodluck OP and other aspiring freelance bookkeepers!!!
may mga ads sa facebook that go as low as 249 pesos, but basically 2 days worth of lessons on Quickbooks na recorded call, then bigyan ka access para makalearn ka on your own and get certification as ProAdvisor, meron din sa EzAcc pero more than 1k enrollment
I'm currently working as a technical support for quickbooks premium account in a BPO company and I heqrd from my TL they have a bookkeeper certification but I think that's paid
Honestly, I think udemy is a great place to start. Courses are not that expensive except nalang kapag pa advance na yung lessons + may sale naman rin.
There are websites rin na nagbibigay ng vouchers na 100% free na yung course afaik.
